As I surfed my news feed on Face Book this morning, I came across this picture :
As I read the statement, I felt a sense of sadness, knowing that thousands of years ago, at the beginning of time there was a day set aside by the Creator of Heaven and Earth, called Shabbat.
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.2 By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. - Genesis 2:1-3
Entertainment has distracted man from the worship of the Almighty.TV and Media are the drug pushers of this new Religion.

We have descecrated the Holy Day given by our Maker and instead have dedicated this day to sports and worldly pursuits.
In the picture above it says at the bottom " -The Great Bob Ufer-".
He is the man who was quoted as calling football a Religion, and Saturday being sanctified to that day. How sad and decieving is such a statement, although it is true that Americans are so dedicated to sports, and yet their world is falling apart around them. Our Congress, and Presidency is filled with corruption, and their is a plot to bring all nations under the tyranny of a World Government.
It seems as though no one cares about the crisis happening around them. If they are warned of it, they just call those giving the warning "conspiracy nuts" or "Bible fanatics".
Yet, are not those dedicated to sports called "Fans"? This word is short for the word "fanatic".
Sports is used to distract us from real issues that will affect us and our children. Things like economic collapse, and global tyranny. Yet people choose to take a Sacred Day given by the Almighty Creator of Heaven and Earth, and instead dedicate it to their own lusts and desires.
In the Scripture, the Almighty promises prosperity and blessings to those who will Sanctify the Seventh day of the week (Saturday) whether they be a Jew or Gentile (Isaiah 56:1-7).
Finally, there will be those who will restore the Ways of the Holy One, by teaching the truth, and leading people away from the ways of Rome-Babylon in these last days :
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

“If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and YHWH's holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
then you will find your joy in YHWH,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of YHWH has spoken.
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
