Virtual machine guns, robo-security guards and drones will protect your home from burglars in 2025

Daily Mail
March 30, 2016

From burglar alarms that identify intruders, to robotic guards and even 'gun' turrets, homeowners of the future will have far more imaginative options to protect their property than today.

A report about the future of home security predicts a future that's a cross between the Minority Report and The Crystal Maze in which burglars would have to run a high-tech gauntlet to make off with goods.

For example, burglar alarms could shout at intruders by name, while indelible sprays could mark them out in case of escape, and drones could give chase.

The report, by future trends experts Futurizon, was commissioned by security company ADT.
In a survey, the Florida-based firm found only four out of ten people feel safe being at home, while one in ten believe their home is at greater risk today than it was only five years ago.

National Border Patrol Council Endorses Trump for President

March 30, 2016

In an official statement first obtained by Breitbart Texas, the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) endorsed Donald Trump for President of the United States. The unusually bold statement comes just days after a senior policy adviser for Trump made clear that future U.S. border security policy would be largely determined by the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol who are actual agents protecting the border and not by politically-appointed bureaucrats in the Border Patrol or its parent agency, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), if Trump is elected.

The endorsement is the first-ever in a presidential primary for the NBPC. The agents’ statement makes clear that Trump’s public pledge to secure the border by turning to the actual agents in the NBPC is revolutionary and an opportunity never-before-seen and one that may never be seen again. They wrote, “Mr. Trump will take on special interest and embrace the ideas of rank-and-file Border Patrol agents rather than listening to the management yes-men who say whatever they are programmed to say. This is a refreshing change that we have not seen before – and may never see again.”
The NBPC has been the only voice for nearly 17,000 Border Patrol agents. The organization has served as the only advocacy and defense mechanism for the needs and interests of agents against overwhelming attacks from political groups and special interests opposing a secured border.
The full statement from the NBPC:
March 30, 2016
The National Border Patrol Council is the official organization representing our nation’s Border Patrol Agents. We represent 16,500 agents who selflessly serve this country in an environment where our own political leaders try to keep us from doing our jobs.
The NBPC has had a longstanding practice of not endorsing presidential candidates in the primaries. We will not, however, shy away from voicing our opinions as it pertains to border security and the men and women of the United States Border Patrol. As such, we are breaking with our past practice and giving our first-ever endorsement in a presidential primary. We think it is that important: if we do not secure our borders, American communities will continue to suffer at the hands of gangs, cartels and violent criminals preying on the innocent. The lives and security of the American people are at stake, and the National Border Patrol Council will not sit on the sidelines.
As an organization we expect our elected officials to aggressively pursue the interests of the country. America has already tried a young, articulate freshman senator who never created a job as an attorney and under whose watch criminal cartels have been given the freest border reign ever known.
Unlike his opponents, Donald Trump is not a career politician, he is an outsider who has created thousands of jobs, pledged to bring about aggressive pro-American change, and who is completely independent of special interests. We don’t need a person who has the perfect Washington-approved tone, and certainly NOT another establishment politician in the W.H.  Indeed, the fact that people are more upset about Mr. Trump’s tone than about the destruction wrought by open borders tells us everything we need to know about the corruption in Washington.
We need a person in the White House who doesn’t fear the media, who doesn’t embrace political correctness, who doesn’t need the money, who is familiar with success, who won’t bow to foreign dictators, who is pro-military and values law enforcement, and who is angry for America and NOT subservient to the interests of other nations. Donald Trump is such a man.
Mr. Trump is as bold and outspoken as other world leaders who put their country’s interests ahead of all else.  Americans deserve to benefit for once instead of always paying and apologizing. Our current political establishment has bled this country dry, sees their power evaporating, and isn’t listening to voters who do all the heavy lifting.  Trump is opposed by the established powers specifically because they know he is the only candidate who actually threatens the established powers that have betrayed this country.
You can judge a man by his opponents: all the people responsible for the problems plaguing America today are opposing Mr. Trump. It is those without political power – the workers, the law enforcement officers, the everyday families and community members – who are supporting Mr. Trump.
Mr. Trump will take on special interests and embrace the ideas of rank-and-file Border Patrol agents rather than listening to the management yes-men who say whatever they are programmed to say. This is a refreshing change that we have not seen before – and may never see again.
Mr. Trump is correct when he says immigration wouldn’t be at the forefront of this presidential campaign if months ago he hadn’t made some bold and necessary statements. And when the withering media storm ensued he did not back down one iota.  That tells you the measure of a man.  When the so-called experts said he was too brash and outspoken, and that he would fade away, they were proven wrong. We are confident they will be proven wrong again in November when he becomes President of the United States.
There is no greater physical or economic threat to Americans today than our open border.  And there is no greater political threat than the control of Washington by special interests.  In view of these threats, the National Border Patrol Council endorses Donald J. Trump for President – and asks the American people to support Mr. Trump in his mission to finally secure the border of the United States of America, before it is too late.

Mass surveillance silences minority opinions, according to study

Washington Post
March 28, 2016

A new study shows that knowledge of government surveillance causes people to self-censor their dissenting opinions online. The research offers a sobering look at the oft-touted "democratizing" effect of social media and Internet access that bolsters minority opinion.
The study, published in Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, studied the effects of subtle reminders of mass surveillance on its subjects. The majority of participants reacted by suppressing opinions that they perceived to be in the minority. This research illustrates the silencing effect of participants’ dissenting opinions in the wake of widespread knowledge of government surveillance, as revealed by whistleblower Edward Snowden in 2013.
The “spiral of silence” is a well-researched phenomenon in which people suppress unpopular opinions to fit in and avoid social isolation. It has been looked at in the context of social media and the echo-chamber effect, in which we tailor our opinions to fit the online activity of our Facebook and Twitter friends. But this study adds a new layer by explicitly examining how government surveillance affects self-censorship.

The Big Steal is on – trust me.
The Bush, Cruz, Rubio, Romney, Ryan, McConnell faction has united and is moving into high gear to steal the nomination from Trump. The immediate plan is an all out bid to deprive Donald Trump of victory – and the delegates – in Wisconsin.
Governor Scott Walker, long reliant on Koch money, will endorse Cruz. A victory in Wisconsin for Cruz makes the big steal possible. A loss there makes the big steal much more difficult.
The power-brokers’ short term game is clear; stall Trump just short of the magic number of delegates needed to be nominated on the first ballot with the knowledge that many delegates bound on the first ballot by Trump primary and caucus victories would be unbound on a second ballot. Much in the way the RNC stacked the galleries with anti-Trump partisans in the last two debates, anti-Trump quislings are being planted in various delegations that will be free to betray Trump on subsequent ballots.
Some Republican state chairmen, for example, in Texas, New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, Connecticut, North Dakota, and other states, are planting “Trojan Horse” delegates into slots won by Trump on the first ballot.
The second part of their audacious plan is to use procedural votes to adopt rules for the convention as recommended by the Rules Committee and the seating of the delegates as recommended by the Credentials Committee, neither of which will favor Donald Trump in any way. Those key committees are made up of two members from each state and the conspirators have been quietly placing their establishment stooges in these positions. This poses the gravest danger to Trump.
Trouble in Texas
Rick Perry has visions of a Vice Presidential nomination and has joined with forces loyal to George P. Bush, the Texas Land Commissioner and Ted Cruz to pack the Texas delegation – including the 40% delegates pledged to Trump who will be hard-core Trump opponents free to vote for rules that make the Big Steal from Trump possible or to unseat Trump delegates to help the big steal in Cleveland.
Lubbock County Chairman Carl Tepper, the respected chairman of theTexas Republican County Chairmen’s Association has been shut down in his demand for Trump supporters in the delegation. There will be no Trump delegates from Texas even though party rules require 40 delegates vote for him on the first ballot.
Stealing New Orleans style
Trump won Louisiana’s Republican presidential primary by almost 4%  points, but Cruz is trying to grab 10 more delegates from the state than Trump. Mr. Cruz’s supporters also seized five of Louisiana’s six slots on the three most important committees that will adopt the rules and platform at the Convention and decide who gets to vote this summer in Cleveland.
Trump and Cruz each won 18 delegates apiece based on the Louisiana results in the primary on March 5. But the five delegates awarded to Rubio are now free agents because he dropped out and they will swing behind Mr. Cruz. The state’s five unbound delegates—who are free to back the candidates of their choice—are “regulars” who will vote for Cruz, GOP insiders told me.
The kingmakers snuffed the Trump people easily delegates met to decide who will represent Louisiana on the three important convention committees gathered at a March 12 state convention to elect two members to each panel. Five of the six-committee members are Mr. Cruz backers  and the sixth is uncommitted to a presidential candidate. Louisiana is the first state to name delegates to serve on the three committees.
Palmetto State Problems
The big steal is in full swing against Donald Trump in South Carolina where Trump won the primary last month. Bush, Cruz, and Rubio forces are aggressively mobilizing allies to recruit and elect their own stooges to the Republican National Convention — scheduled for late July in Cleveland.
South Carolina’s potential delegates may be drawn only from the 925 party insiders who attended the state’s GOP convention in 2015. It’s a pool of party veterans with few Trump supporters. The South Carolina delegation may have no Trump supporters. The GOP bosses plan to use their majority to elect Trump hostiles to the crucial rules and credential’s committees as well.
New York Rumble
Trump has problems in his back yard where GOP state chairman Ed Cox has declined to endorse Trump who has the backing of more than 36 of the state’s 62 county leaders and expects to release a list of endorsements today. Trump is killing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the New York primary by 64-12 percent, according to a March 17 Emerson College poll. Trumpites and GOP Insiders are already fighting to grab the state’s 95 delegates. The primary is a month away and delegates are selected in two months.
Buffalo developer Carl Paladino who routed the GOP Primary in 2014 and Trump staffer Mike Caputo have networked with GOP county leaders, who ultimately name the delegates. The Trump team boasts commitments from more than 36 of the state’s 62 county leaders and expects to release a list of endorsements in the coming days. ‘We need some kind of loyalty oath by these delegates that they will reflect the will of the voters” Paladino told me.  Even party leaders who lean toward Trump today are loose “I have no deals with anybody and I’m not married to anyone,” said Nassau County GOP chair Joe Mondello. “I think Mr. Trump right now is the guy.”
The Big Steal will shift into high gear when more states, including Arizona, Colorado and North Dakota, begin selecting their convention delegates, using methods including statewide and congressional district conventions, meetings of state party leaders and county-level votes or caucuses.
Badger State Show Down
Wisconsin appears to be the battleground for the GOP cabal to take Trump down. Sources tell me $25 million from Cruz and Cruz related superPACSas well as three different anti-Trump PACS funded by Romney backers will flood the state. Trump himself told me he won’t be out-campaigned in the Badger State.
This is ground zero for Cruz. He must win it to have any shot of stalling Trump. Trump can sustain a loss but it will be costly.
The Bush Connection
Those who were surprised Jeb backed Cruz despite George W. Bush’s intense dislike for his former issues man shouldn’t be.
When Neil Bush signed up as Co-Finance Chairman with Ted Cruz and Jeb Bush added his endorsement, which I predicted on Infowars, it had been clear that the GOP establishment has swallowed hard to back their prickly fellow globalist, Ted Cruz. You see it’s not really politics of Ted Cruz the elites dislike. It’s his personality.
Ted and Heidi have both worked for Bush 41. Ted and Heidi have been on board for the Globalist agenda. She worked in the NSA with Condi and then with the neocon warlord Robert Zoellick, a modern day Dr. Evil ( World Bank, CFR and Goldman Sachs).
Ted was Bush’s Issues guy for his 2012 campaign for President and in the White House. He went to Harvard and Princeton.  He recruited John Roberts to the Bush legal team. He game-planned Bush v. Gore for Bush in the 2000 recount. He supports TPP. He’s a globalist .
Enter Phil Gramm
Even worse Cruz named Phil Gramm as his economic guru. This guy virtually crashed the US economy. Gramm is largely responsible for two bills which led to the speculative bubble which popped in September 2008.  First was his  Gramm-Leach-Bliley bill repealed Glass Steagall, which separated investment banking from commercial banking.  Its repeal — which was signed into law by President Clinton, with the backing of Robert Rubin and Larry Summers — opened the door for a flood of money, from commercial banks, to flow into mortgage-backed securities and other funny-money schemes, which blew up in 2008.
The second bill was the Commodity Futures Modernization Act (CFMA), which totally freed derivative trading from any regulatory oversight.  This was another Phil Gramm bill, and was central to the bubble creation from 2000 to 2008, and then again today.
Following the crash of 2008, the Dodd Frank bill was backed by Obama and teams of Wall Street lobbyists, who mobilized to make sure that Glass Steagall was not restored, and that the CFMA was kept in place.  As a result, when combined with bailouts and Quantitative Easing, a new bubble has grown, allowing Wall Street speculators to continue the Ponzi scheme, while depriving the real economy of credit.
Phil Gramm is now an official at UBS, the Swiss bank which has been under fire for its protection of tax-cheating U.S. corporations and the upper echelon of financial speculators.  Gramm would be the architect of the Cruz economic model.
God help us.
The end game
This is the insiders pulling strings illustration of power politics that will be played in Cleveland. While Mr. Trump leads in winning primary and caucus elections, and has won more delegates, the Establishment will stack the delegations to the convention, where the votes on the rules and seating of delegates could ultimately choose the nominee.
Stacking the convention and its committees with supporters is the last option for Cruz, because a contested convention is his only viable path to the nomination. The Texas Senator must win 85% of the remaining delegates to win outright, a highly unlikely scenario with many states awarding delegates proportionally.
The Kingmakers aren’t wedded to Cruz but the long shot nomination of a Romney or Ryan may be a reach too far. What the Kingmakers must do first is stop Trump.
Don’t underestimate the establishment’s desperation to overthrow the democratically expressed wishes of the people with a rigged convention. This time the conspirators are banking on the fact that the nomination will not be decided on the first ballot, but in a series of procedural votes by the entire convention. This will be the tell.

At the same time the Bosses are furious at Governor John Kasich and his handler John Weaver.  He hasn’t a hope of winning anything, but if he dropped out of the race the 66 delegates he picked up for winning Ohio would then go to Trump, who placed second. Kasich is playing for a Vice Presidential slot on somebody’s ticket.
The establishment elite will do anything and everything they can to disregard the democratically expressed wishes of the American people. They will claim they are trying to strengthen the Republican Party for the general election. The truth is that if they succeed it will tear the GOP apart and make the nomination worthless.
All the establishment elite are really interested in is keeping their grip on power within the party and maintaining their influence peddling businesses. I know. I was once one of the highest paid lobbyists in Washington. They really could care less who wins the general election. Most in the GOP lobbyist class derive their livelihood from the Republican majorities in Congress and they see Hillary Clinton as transactional, someone you can rent if not buy.
The establishment have been running the Republican Party for so long, and wring the game for so long, that they haven’t realized things have changed. The rise of Trump is a tidal wave. In their deluded minds their plan to steal the nomination from Donald Trump will work just the same as it did with Ron Paul in 2012. But Trump has a constituency that will not stand for it.
Trump has managed to awaken the silent majority of Americans who previously either did not bother to vote or just shrugged their shoulders and accepted that the system is rigged and the little man cannot have an impact. Today Trump has become a leader for the non-elites. He is an alternative to doing the bidding of Bushs and Clintons and their ilk who have become richer and richer while the ordinary people have become poorer and poorer and America itself turned into a debt-ridden shadow of its once great self.
Unfortunately, because of establishment propaganda –that the MSM has been only too willing and eager to promulgate – many are still biased by their irrational hatred of Donald Trump – and the ham handed efforts by the Soros crowd to smear him as a racist – to even notice that the democratic foundation of their Nation and American Sovereignty is being destroyed by the very people who are conspiring to stop Trump’s nomination as they ease us towards the New World Order.

Job Growth Doesn’t Mean We’re Getting Richer
March 27, 2016

In response to recent claims by the Obama administration and others that “millions of jobs” have recently been created, I examined the data here at to see if the claims were true. It turns out that job growth since the 2008 recession has actually been quite weak, and hardly something to boast about.
Nevertheless, our conclusions from these analyses tend to rest on the idea that job growth is synonymous with gains in wealth and economic prosperity.
But is that a good assumption?
In an unhampered market, the answer would be no, for several reasons.
First of all, as worker productivity increases, workers would need to work fewer hours to maintain their standard of living.
Second, as goods become less expensive (as a result of rising productivity) it would also be necessary to work fewer hours to maintain the same standard of living.
This need for fewer man-hours could translate into shorter work weeks and shorter days, but it could also manifest itself at the household level in the form of changes from two-income households to one-income households. Or, people may retire earlier, thus leaving the work force.
In other words, in a well-functioning economy over time, less human labor will be necessary to maintain standards of living, all things being equal. (If consumers wish to constantly increase their standard of living of course, they will choose more labor over more leisure for the sake of more consumption.)

Historical Trends in Work Hours

Even in our hampered and un-free economy, we can still see this basic trend at work. The number of work hours necessary to maintain the standard of living our grandparents enjoyed, for example, is less today than it was in 1950.
If middle-class consumers were satisfied with a two-bedroom residence in an unstylish neighborhood, one car, a single phone line, no air conditioning, and no internet access, many of them would require far fewer work hours than is necessary to maintain a common middle-class standard of living today.
In the 1950s for example, my mother shared a bedroom with three brothers in a two bedroom house in central Los Angeles. She went to a private Catholic school where there were 50 students to a classroom. For her family, there were certainly no European vacations or airline travel to seaside resorts.
And yet, no one would have described this lifestyle as “impoverished” or “lower class.” It was a middle-class lifestyle, but this lifestyle could only be maintained by far more than 40 hours of work at the family business each week, where both parents labored regularly.
This experience was not atypical.
In spite of increases in the standard of living since then, working hours have actually decreased. Indeed, according to Robert Fogel in The Fourth Great Awakening and the Future of Egalitarianism, from 1880 to 1995 the number of hours spent on work during an average day for a male head of household decreased from 8.5 hours to 4.7 hours. Meanwhile, leisure time increased from 1.8 hours to 5.8 hours.
In a separate study by Thomas Juster and Frank Stafford, it was found that from 1965 to 1981 in the United States, “market work” hours per week fell from 51.6 hours to 44 hours for men. For women, market work rose from 18.9 hours to 23.9 hours. We would expect an increase for women over this period as women began to take on “market work” at higher rates than before. This was for wage work only, though, and if we include “housework” we find that “total work” for women during this time period fell from 60.9 hours to 54.4 hours. Women exchanged some housework for market work over this period, but overall, the work hours decreased. Total work for men decreased also, from 63.1 hours to 57.8 hours. (Housework increased for men over this period.)
In yet another study by Mary Coleman and John Pencavel, average weekly hours worked fell for white men from 44.1 hours in 1940 to 42.9 hours in 1988. It fell for white women from 40.6 hours to 35.5 hours over the same period.
The typical standard of living increased over these periods, as the square footage of housing units increased, automobiles became more common, and amenities like telephones, washing machines, personal computers, and climate control became more common. The work itself also became less hazardous over this time period.

3-minute video: Public banks and monetary reform generate ~$1 million near-instant benefits for every US household: 2nd American Revolution more important than 1776

Washington's Blog

March 27, 2016

This article provides detailed history and data to explain what all macroeconomics courses teach: what we use for money is created as debt.
What these courses don’t usually teach are the consequences of creating what we use for money as negative numbers increasing forever: unpayable and ever-increasing total debt.

The top three benefits each of monetary reform and public banking total ~$1,000,000 for the average American household, and would be received nearly instantly.
Monetary reform is the creation of debt-free money by government for the direct payment of public goods and services. Creating money as a positive number is an obvious move from our existing Robber Baron-era system of only creating debt owed to privately-owned banks (a negative number) as what we use for money. Our Orwellian “non-monetary supply” of adding negative numbers forever causes today’s tragic-comic increasing and unpayable total debt. You learned these mechanics of positive and negative numbers in middle school, and already have the education and life experience to conclude with Emperor’s New Clothes absolute certainty that accelerating total debt is the opposite of having money. As a National Board Certified and Advanced Placement Macroeconomics teacher, I affirm this is also exactly what is taught to all economics students.

The public benefits of reversing this creature of Robber Barons are game-changing and near-instant. We the People must demand these, as .01% oligarchs have no safe way to do so without admission of literal criminal fraud by claiming that debt is its opposite of money.
The top 3 game-changing benefits of monetary reform:
  1. We pay the national debt in proportion to removing private banks’ ability to create what we use for money as debt in order to prevent inflation. We retire national debt forever.
  2. We fully fund infrastructure that returns more economic output than investment cost for triple upgrades: the best infrastructure we can imagine, up to full-employment, and lower overall costs.
  3. We stop the ongoing Robber Barons who McKinsey’s Chief Economist documents having ~$30 TRILLION in tax havens, and the Fed finding the US top seven banks creating shell companies to hide $10 trillion. This amount is about 30 times needed to end all global poverty, which has killed more people since 1995 than all wars and violence in all human history.

Public banking creates at-cost and in-house credit to pay for public goods and services without the expense and for-profit interest of selling debt-securities. North Dakota has a public bank for at-cost credit that results in it being the only state with annual increasing surpluses rather than deficits.

Anti- Trump Protester Speaks Out: “I Was Paid $3,500 To Protest Trump’s Rally”

ABC News
March 27, 2016

Fountain Hills, AZ — For weeks, rumors have circulated the web that individuals were being paid to protest at rallies held by Presidential hopeful, Donald Trump. Today a man from Trump’s rally on Saturday in Fountain Hills, Arizona has come forward to say that he was paid to protest the event.
“I was given $3,500 to protest Donald Trump’s rally in Fountain Hills,” said 37-year-old Paul Horner. “I answered a Craigslist ad a little over a week ago about a group needing actors for a political event. I interviewed with them and got the part.”
Trump supporters have been claiming for weeks that the protesters are being paid for by Bernie Sanders’ campaign, but Horner disagrees.
“As for who these people were affiliated with that interviewed me, my guess would be Hillary Clinton’s campaign,” Horner said. “The actual check I received after I was done with the job was from a group called ‘Women Are The Future’. After I was hired, they told me if anyone asked any questions about who I was with or communicated with me in any way, I should start talking about how great Bernie Sanders is.” Horner continued, “It was mostlywomen in their 60’s at the interview that I went to. Plus, all the people that I communicated with had an AOL email address. No one still has an AOL email address except people that would vote for Hillary Clinton.”

“I knew those weren’t real protesters, they were too organized and smart,” said 59-year-old Tom Downey, a Trump supporter who attended the rally in Fountain Hills. “I knew there was something up when they started shouting all these facts and nonsense like that. The best we could do was just yell and punch em’ and stuff.” Downey continued, “I think we did a good job though. I was shouting at them the whole time, calling them losers, telling them to get a job or go back home to mommy’s house; I got a bunch of high-fives from my fellow Trump supporters. It was a great time.”
When asked about the other protesters at the rally, Horner said he saw most of them during the interview and training for the rally.
“Almost all of the people I was protesting with I had seen at my interview and training class. At the rally, talking with some of them, I learned they only paid Latinos $500, Muslims $600 and African Americans $750. I don’t think they were looking for any Asians. Women and children were paid half of what the men got and illegals received $300 across the board. I think I was paid more than the other protesters because I was white and had taken classes in street fighting and boxing a few years back”
Sarah Bradley, a spokeswoman for Sock It Forward, a group that provides the homeless and those less fortunate with brand new socks told ABC News that she does not understand why Trump protesters would need to be paid.
“I’ll protest that guy for free,” Bradley said. “Trump is creating a place for like-minded, hate-filled, individuals to gather. You wouldn’t have to pay me anything to protest that.”
Horner said the group had a mandatory six-hour training class that had to be completed before protesting at Trump’s rally.
“During training we were taught chants to shout like ‘Dump Trump’ and ‘Trump Is A Racist’, things like that. We were told how to respond to anti-Trump comments too. If a Trump supporter said something about how great his wall will be, the Latinos in our group would say, ‘We’re just going to tunnel underneath it.’ They even gave me a shirt to wear at the rally which said ‘F*ck Donald Trump’ along with a sign to hold that said ‘Make America White Again’.”
ABC News reached out to Hillary Clinton’s campaign for comment but did not receive a response.
