Documented Plans of US Military to Use Weather as a Weapon

Source: prisonplanet.com.  Back in 1996, a document titled “Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025” was submitted to the director of the United States Air Force, under a disguised notion that it was a fictional report and was not intended to be applied to real-life scenarios. The document was a detailed research analysis paper which described the potential of developing aerospace technologies, and more importantly, how they might best be used to harness, control and manipulate the natural forces of weather on this planet. The technologies and capabilities described in this report have now become a reality, and have been documented all over the world.

Wheat growers watching Egypt riots closely

Posted: Saturday, February 5, 2011
The civil unrest washing across Egypt could have a big impact on wheat growers in Oregon if that country’s government doesn’t remain friendly toward the United States.

Wheat growers have experience with world politics playing a role in wheat prices. Iran purchased about a million metric tons of wheat until 1979, when a change in leadership during the Iranian Revolution brought that number to zero.

“Egypt is usually the cheapest buyer, so it’s where they can buy the cheapest wheat,” said Jon Sperl of Pendleton Grain Growers. “Egypt has been a huge, huge buyer of wheat off the West Coast. This year ... they’ve been buying the cheaper black seed wheat from Russia.”

This year wheat from Oregon is making its way primarily to the Pacific Rim — and Yemen, another country in political unrest.

“Obviously we’re concerned. Year in, year out they’re typically the largest importer of wheat in the world,” Sperl said. “As long as they keep buying wheat and take wheat off the balance in the world, it’s not an issue.”

Egypt imports around 10 million tons of wheat a year. Darren Padget, the immediate past president of the Oregon Wheat Growers League, agreed with Sperl’s assessment.

“We don’t like to see turmoil anywhere in the world, because our product is 85 to 90 percent export,” Padget said. “We’re very sensitive to any of our markets having an issue. Right now prices are high. It’s not quite the issue if prices were in the $3 or $4 range.”

Egypt: Cue the Dirty Tricks, False Flags To Discredit Pro-Democracy Movement

Global Research, January 30, 2011

The looting of Cairo’s world-famous Egyptian Museum over the weekend seems to have engendered the desired news headlines.

‘Looters smash ancient treasures’, ‘Looters decapitate mummies’, ‘Looters rip off heads of artifacts’ etc., read a rash of headlines, following the apparent breaking into the country’s national museum, which is said to house the world’s biggest of Pharaonic antiquities.

However, it has since emerged, although with much less headline coverage, that some of the would-be looters apprehended by protesters outside the museum were identified as working for the state’s interior ministry.

Also, tellingly, Zahi Hawass, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, told Al Jazeera news service that protesters had actually tried to stop the alleged looters from entering the museum, but that the attackers managed to enter the building from the roof. Given that there was no apparent attempt to steal the priceless artifacts, it seems a strange expenditure of effort on the part of the culprits just to go on a wrecking spree for the sake of it.

The incident may be just a foretaste of a wider range of propaganda stunts or false flags, including atrocities and fatalities, that the Mubarak regime will enact in order to discredit the protest movement sweeping that nation, and to serve as a pretext for intensifying the crackdown by security forces, which has already left over 100 dead and 2,000 injured.

No doubt the US-backed Mubarak regime is struggling to contain widespread chaos rocking the country, with tens of thousands of people taking to the streets of major cities in defiance of curfews. And no doubt there are countless incidents of looting by people pent up by decades of poverty and unemployment.

Days of Rage, Oil Prices, and the Suez Canal

Kurt Nimmo

Bloomberg warns today that an act of sabotage or a decision by a new regime – possibly headed up by the Muslim Brotherhood – to close the canal and its oil pipeline to punish supporters of Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak could send oil prices through the stratosphere.

Egyptian troops currently guard the canal and its adjacent Suez-Mediterranean oil pipeline but that does not mean the flow of oil – more than 1.7 millions barrels per day – cannot be shut down.

About 2.5 percent of global oil production moves through Egypt via the Suez Canal and the Suez-Mediterranean Pipeline, according to Goldman Sachs.

From 1967 until 1975, Egypt kept the canal closed in response to Israel’s seizure of Arab territory, forcing tankers to travel around the Cape of Good Hope.

Earlier today, investors increased bets that oil prices will likely increase as much as $250 a barrel on concern the unrest in Egypt will shut down the flow of oil through the Suez Canal and spread to Saudi Arabia.

Lindsey Williams and Bob Chapman on the Alex Jones Show, January 28, 2011.

In December, Williams told Jones that his insider connections said the price of oil will soon skyrocket to between $150-200 per barrel and this price increase will result in gasoline in the range of $4-5 per gallon.
Williams became a friend and trusted confidant of oil industry executives while serving as chaplain for them and their construction crews building the Alaska pipeline in the 1970s.

Obama Egypt Plan Includes Role for Muslim Brotherhood

The Obama administration is secretly crafting a plan for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave office immediately – a plan that includes a place for the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood to be in an interim government, The New York Times reported Thursday night.

mubarak, exit, times, brotherhood, egyptThe paper detailed a process in which administration officials are discussing with Egyptian officials the exit strategy. A transitional government would be headed by Vice President Omar Suleiman with the support of the Egyptian military, administration officials and Arab diplomats told the Times Thursday.

But so far Mubarak has balked. Still, officials are pushing the plan in discussions with Suleiman, backed by Sami Enan, chief of the Egyptian armed forces, and Field Marshal Mohamed Tantawi, the Defense Minister.

More importantly, though, the proposal calls for the transitional government to invite members from the banned Muslim Brotherhood to begin work to open up the country’s electoral system in an effort to bring about free and fair elections in September, the officials told the Times.

That plan apparently is one of several options under discussion with high-level Egyptian officials around Mubarak, though not him directly, in an effort to convince him to step down now.

Administration officials cautioned that the outcome depended on “several factors, not least of all the mood of the protesters on the streets of Cairo and other Egyptian cities and the dynamics within the Egyptian government,” the Times story said.

You Might Be a Terrorist, Too

Radley Balko
Reason
February 2, 2011

Cato’s David Rittgers rounds up cases of terrorist “fusion centers” erring on the side of labeling, well, pretty much everyone, a potential terrorist.
The North Texas Fusion System labeled Muslim lobbyists as a potential threat; a DHS analyst in Wisconsin thought both pro- and anti-abortion activists were worrisome; a Pennsylvania homeland security contractor watched environmental activists, Tea Party groups, and a Second Amendment rally; the Maryland State Police put anti-death penalty and anti-war activists in a federal terrorism database; a fusion center in Missouri thought that all third-party voters and Ron Paul supporters were a threat; and the Department of Homeland Security described half of the American political spectrum as “right wing extremists.”
The ACLU fusion center report and update lay out some good background on these issues, and the Spyfiles report describes how monitoring lawful dissent has become routine for police departments around the nation.
I believe this is the part where right wingers justify including anti-war and environmental groups on these lists, and left wingers justify including Tea Partiers, anti-abortion activists, and Second Amendment advocates.

Codex Alimentarius Loves Toxic Fluoride, Part 1

Brandon Turbeville
Infowars.com
February 4, 2011
In the previous article, I wrote about the global implications of Codex Alimentarius.  I discussed in some detail the oppressive standards recommended by BfR, which have largely been included in the Codex Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements. However, there is one more provision included in the risk assessment process that even many critics of Codex are unaware of. This is the goal to not only treat nutrients as toxins, but treat toxins as nutrients.
At first, this is not readily apparent. A closer look at the risk assessment provided by BfR provides one with a glimmer of what might one day be a completely Orwellian policy toward vitamins, minerals, and toxins.
The fact that researchers have the audacity to claim that vital minerals like Iron should not be consumed in measurements above 0 mg is disturbing enough. However, there is one more substance added to the findings and, more alarmingly, listed as a mineral that should be just as frightening. That substance is the very toxic chemical known as fluoride.[1]
This chemical poison is listed only in the “moderately high-risk” level of risk categories.[2]  Yet the reality is that fluoride is a very dangerous chemical with serious risks of harm to both health and the environment. In truth, there are actually two different forms of what is called fluoride – calcium fluoride and sodium fluoride.

Full repeal of health care law fails in Senate

JENNIFER HABERKORN
Politico
February 2, 2011
Efforts to repeal President Barack Obama’s health care law died a quick death in the Senate Wednesday, but the GOP got a consolation prize — a bipartisan fix to a tax-reporting requirement in the law that was widely panned by businesses.

A Democratic amendment to repeal the law’s new tax-reporting requirements passed, 81-17, with broad bipartisan support. A Republican amendment to repeal the entire health reform law, meanwhile, fell along party lines, 47-51, in a procedural vote.
Senate Republicans pledge that their first crack at repealing the health care overhaul won’t be their last.

Housing Armageddon: 12 Facts Which Show That We Are In The Midst Of The Worst Housing Collapse In U.S. History

The Economic Collapse

We are officially in the middle of the worst housing collapse in U.S. history - and unfortunately it is going to get even worse.  Already, U.S. housing prices have fallen further during this economic downturn (26 percent), then they did during the Great Depression (25.9 percent).

Approximately 11 percent of all homes in the United States are currently standing empty.  In fact, there are many new housing developments across the U.S. that resemble little more than ghost towns because foreclosures have wiped them out.  Mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures reached new highs in 2010, and it is being projected that banks and financial institutions will repossess at least a million more U.S. homes during 2011.

Meanwhile, unemployment is absolutely rampant and wage levels are going down at a time when mortgage lending standards have been significantly tightened.  That means that there are very few qualified buyers running around out there and that is going to continue to be the case for quite some time to come.  When you add all of those factors up, it leads to one inescapable conclusion.  The "housing Armageddon" that we have been experiencing since 2007 is going to get even worse in 2011.

Right now there is a gigantic mountain of unsold homes in the United States.  It is estimated that banks and financial institutions will repossess at least a million more homes this year and this will make the supply of unsold properties even worse.  At the same time, millions of American families have been scared out of the market by this recent crisis and millions of others cannot qualify for a home loan any longer.  That means that the demand for unsold homes is at extremely low levels.

So what happens when supply is really high and demand is really low?
That's right - prices go down.

Hopefully housing prices don't have too much farther to go down.  Ben Bernanke and the boys over at the Federal Reserve are doing their best to flood the system with new dollars in order to prop up asset values, but you just can't create qualified home buyers out of thin air.

Many analysts are projecting that U.S. housing prices will decline another ten or twenty percent before they hit bottom.  In fact, quite a few economists believe that the total price decline from the peak of the market in 2006 will end up being somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 percent.

But whether prices go down any further or not, the truth is that the housing crash that we have already witnessed is absolutely unprecedented.

The following are 12 facts which show that we are in the midst of the worst housing collapse in U.S. history....

#1 Approximately 11 percent of all homes in the United States are currently standing empty.

#2 The rate of home ownership in the United States has dropped like a rock.  At this point it has fallen all the way back to 1998 levels.

#3 According to the S&P/Case-Shiller index, U.S. home prices fell 1.3 percent in October and another 1 percent in November.  In fact, November represented the fourth monthly decline in a row for U.S. housing prices.  Many economists are now openly using the term "double-dip" to describe what is happening to the housing market.

#4 The number of homes that were actually repossessed reached the 1 million mark for the first time ever during 2010.

#5 According to RealtyTrac, a total of 3 million homes were repossessed by mortgage lenders between January 2007 and August 2010.  This represents a huge amount of additional inventory that somehow must be sold.

#6 72 percent of the major metropolitan areas in the United States had more foreclosures in 2010 than they did in 2009.

#7 According to the Mortgage Bankers Association, at least 8 million Americans are at least one month behind on their mortgage payments.

#8 It is estimated that there are about 5 million homeowners in the United States that are at least two months behind on their mortgages, and it is being projected that over a million American families will be booted out of their homes this year alone.

#9 Deutsche Bank is projecting that 48 percent of all U.S. mortgages could have negative equity by the end of 2011.

#10 Some formerly great industrial cities are rapidly turning into ghost towns.  For example, in Dayton, Ohio today 18.9 percent of all houses are now standing empty.  21.5 percent of all houses in New Orleans, Louisiana are standing vacant.

#11 According to Zillow, U.S. home prices have already fallen further during this economic downturn (26 percent) than they did during the Great Depression (25.9 percent).

#12 There are very few signs that the employment situation in the United States is going to improve any time soon.  4.2 million Americans have been unemployed for one year or longer at this point.  While there has been some nominal improvement in the government unemployment numbers recently, other organizations are reporting that things are getting even worse.  According to Gallup, the unemployment rate actually rose to 9.6% at the end of December.  This was a significant increase from 9.3% in mid-December and 8.8% at the end of November.

Even Donald Trump Is Warning That An Economic Collapse Is Coming

The Economic Collapse
Feb 3, 2011
In a shocking new interview, Donald Trump has gone farther than he ever has before in discussing a potential economic collapse in America.  Using phrases such as “you’re going to pay $25 for a loaf of bread pretty soon” and “we could end up being another Egypt”, Trump explained to Newsmax that he is incredibly concerned about the direction our economy is headed.

Whatever you may think of Donald Trump on a personal level, it is undeniable that he has been extremely successful in business.  As one of the most prominent businessmen in America, he is absolutely horrified about what is happening to this nation.  In fact, he is so disturbed about the direction that this country is heading that he is seriously considering running for president in 2012.  But whether he decides to run in 2012 or not, what Trump is now saying about the U.S. economy should be a huge wake up call for all of us.

Trump says that the U.S. government is broke, that all of our jobs are being shipped overseas, that other nations are heavily taking advantage of us and that the value of the U.S. dollar is being destroyed.  The following interview with Trump was originally posted on Newsmax and it is really worth watching….

Now, you may or may not think much of Donald Trump as a politician, but when a businessman of his caliber starts using apocalyptic language to describe where the U.S. economy is headed perhaps we should all pay attention.

Global food prices hit new record high

Global food prices have hit a new record high, amid fears that the escalating cost of bread and meat is adding to the turmoil in the Middle East.

The Telegraph

Feb. 3, 2011

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UN FAO) gave warning that the high prices, already above levels in 2008 which sparked riots, were likely to rise further.
The FAO measures food prices from an index made up of a basket of key commodities such as wheat, milk, oil and sugar, and is widely watched by economists and politicians around the world as the first indicator of whether prices will end up higher on shop shelves.
The index hit averaged 230.7 points in January, up from 223.1 points in December and 206 in November. The index highlights how food prices, which throughout most of the last two decades have been stable, have taken off in alarming fashion in the last three years. In 2000 the index stood at 90 and did not break through 100 until 2004.
Surging food prices have come back into the spotlight after they helped fuelled protests that toppled Tunisia's president in January. Food inflation has also been among the root causes of protests in Egypt and Jordan, raising speculation other nations in the region would secure grain stocks to reassure their populations.
Abdolreza Abbassian, an economist at the FAO, said: "The new figures clearly show that the upward pressure on world food prices is not abating.

"These high prices are likely to persist in the months to come. High food prices are of major concern especially for low-income food deficit countries that may face problems in financing food imports and for poor households which spend a large share of their income on food."

Minority Report: Companies Push For Ubiquitous Iris Scanning 190810iris
Place eyes here for secure entry citizen
The impending expiration of a key technology patent is paving the way for a scramble amongst scores of biometrics research and development companies, all desperate to make their own brand of iris scanning technology commonplace, effectively creating a real life Minority Report society, where everyone is linked into an identification database.

As detailed in a Bloomberg News report today, the patent for recording the unique characteristics of the Iris as a form of identification was granted to two eye doctors in 1987, who then approached a Cambridge University professor to develop a way of automating iris identification. That further patent was granted in 1994, but it expires this year, opening a door for a slew of technological nightmares to come pouring through.

Leading marketing companies believe that within the next five years, iris recognition technology will create over $2 billion in revenue by becoming a routine part of everyday life.

The technology is already being used for screening employees of Bank of America, travelers at London’s Heathrow Airport and New York City prisoners.

Neocons Exploit Fear of Muslim Brotherhood to Push War

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
February 1, 2011

Former semi-ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, has told Sean Hannity the Egyptian rebellion against the authoritarian dictator Hosni Mubarak should be used as a pretext to bomb Iran.

“Do you think that the Israelis are going to have to strike — they are going to have to take action?” Sean Hannity asked Bolton on his radio program Monday. “”As you pointed out, ElBaradei ran cover for the Iranians for all those years that he was with the IAEA. And, I just don’t think the Israelis have much longer to wait… they’re going to have to act in fairly short order.”

“I think that’s right,” Bolton said. “I don’t think there’s much time to act. And I think the fall of a Egyptian government committed to the peace agreement will almost certainly speed that timetable up.”

Last week Bolton said “the real alternative is not Jefferson democracy versus the Mubarak regime, but that it’s the Muslim Brotherhood versus the Mubarak regime, and that has enormous implications for the US, for Israel, and our other friends in the region.”

The corporate media – and especially the concurrent neocon media – are now portraying the Muslim Brotherhood as a scary and threatening apparition poised to implement sharia law across the region and kill infidels.

“If the Obama administration decides to go along with the ascendancy of the Muslim Brotherhood under the guise of a ‘peoples’ coalition government, it will be pursuing yet another lethal engagement in its pursuit of approval in the Muslim world,” writes Joseph Klein.

“The Mubarak dictatorship is crumbling, the Muslim Brotherhood is warning that regimes will fall all over the Middle East and the radical left in America and internationally is cheering them on,” writes David Horowitz, the former Marxist turned neocon connected to CIA operative Richard Mellon Scaife.

Health Judge Uses Obama's Words Against Him

In ruling against President Obama‘s health care law, federal Judge Roger Vinson used Mr. Obama‘s own position from the 2008 campaign against him, when the then-Illinois senator argued there were other ways to achieve reform short of requiring every American to purchase insurance.

“I note that in 2008, then-Senator Obama supported a health care reform proposal that did not include an individual mandate because he was at that time strongly opposed to the idea, stating that, ‘If a mandate was the solution, we can try that to solve homelessness by mandating everybody to buy a house,’” Judge Vinson wrote in a footnote toward the end of his 78-page ruling Monday.

Judge Vinson, a federal judge in the northern district of Florida, struck down the entire health care law as unconstitutional on Monday, though he is allowing the Obama administration to continue to implement and enforce it while the government appeals his ruling.

The footnote was attached to the most critical part of Judge Vinson‘s ruling, in which he said the “principal dispute” in the case was not whether Congress has the power to tackle health care, but rather whether it has the power to compel individual citizens to purchase insurance.

Judge Vinson cited Mr. Obama‘s campaign words from an interview with CNN to show that there are other options that could pass constitutional muster including then-candidate Obama‘s plan.

Cashless Society: ‘Facebook Nation’ unveils its new currency

Patrick Henningsen
21st Century Wire
January 31, 2011
The 21st century has certainly witnessed a progression towards a ‘cashless society’, but social networking giant Facebook are taking things a step further, throwing their hat into the ring with the introduction of a new compulsory monetary policy that will initially govern its share of the multi-billion dollar online games industry.

Imagine a virtual world where all goods and services are to be offered, bought and paid for by a new virtual-local form of electron currency. Facebook will be piloting such a scheme for their multimillion dollar online games market. As of July 2011, every social game developer on Facebook will have to offer the social network’s “virtual currency credits”.
According to a recent news release from Marketing Week, “Over the next five months developers will have to implement credits as a payment method within their games”. The games industry already accounts for 70% of the virtual goods transactions on the site.
According to Facebook, the social networking corporation are not insisting that their new online currency will be the only payment method available to users, and in exchange for their cooperation game developers will offered incentives if they use Facebook dollars exclusively. Compensation for compliance will apparently include early access to product features and premium promotion on their site, including promotion on the games dashboard and of course, premium ‘smart’ ad targeting.
What appears on the surface to be a simple online marketing tool to help consolidate a niche market share on the world’s largest social network, has in fact much more far and reaching consequences for hundreds of millions of users.  What Facebook have effectively achieved here is nothing short of a huge “game changer” in terms of envisioning a world without cash.

Kill Switch: Obama Administration Fears Egypt-Style Revolt In U.S.

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
January 31, 2011

The Obama administration is busy attempting to pass legislation that would give the President a kill switch for the Internet in the United States while at the same time decrying Egyptian authorities for shutting down the Internet in a bid to deflate the unfolding revolution against Hosni Mubarak. The reason is simple – the government fears an Egypt-style revolt occurring in the U.S. and wants to block access to the world wide web if and when it happens.

Chicago radio host and occasional Alex Jones Show guest Mancow Muller called it right during an appearance on Mike Huckabee’s show this weekend.
“It’s in all the newspapers, ‘Ohblahblah’, we’ve got to free up Twitter, we’ve got to free up the Internet and Facebook for these poor Egyptians – this is the President that let Wikileaks and all of this stuff happen,” said Mancow.
“They create the problems and we react to fear — the the four letter f-word that controls the masses and they offer the solution, “they” being the government. This is the President that wants the kill switch for the Internet….he wants a kill switch.”
“They fear….social networking, Twitter, Facebook, all of this stuff, but oh, no, we must have it in Egypt, but we don’t want to have it in America.”
Mancow also pointed out how Egyptians were rioting over an economic fallout that has led to crippling tax hikes, wage reductions and spiraling food prices, a similar situation to what is unfolding in America, making reference to how Illinois state authorities recently agreed to hike taxes by a whopping 66 percent.
As we have illustrated, despite invoking supposedly genuine security concerns, the only time governments have resorted to shutting down the world wide web is when they feel the need to crush legitimate dissent against the state.

USDA found to be poisoning bird populations, causing mass die-offs involving millions of birds

Friday, January 21, 2011
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger
Editor of NaturalNews.com

(NaturalNews) Not all the mysterious bird die-offs that have been witnessed around the globe recently are due to unexplained causes. A recent mass die-off event witnessed in Yankton, South Dakota was traced back to the USDA which admitted to carrying out a mass poisoning of the birds.

After hundreds of starlings were found dead in the Yankton Riverside Park, concerned citizens began to investigate. Before long, a USDA official called the local police and admitted they had poisoned the birds. "They say that they had poisoned the birds about ten miles south of Yankton and they were surprised they came to Yankton like they did and died in our park," says Yankton Animal Control Officer Lisa Brasel, as reported by KTIV (http://www.ktiv.com/Global/story.as...).

The USDA then confirmed the story and explained it was all "part of a large killing" in Nebraska. Some of the birds that ate the poison apparently flew all the way to Yankton before succumbing to the poison.

Shockingly, Toxic Waste Candy Bars Deemed Unsafe

Chew Bars Wrapped in Yellow Caution Tape and Imported From Pakistan Are Contaminated with Lead

Toxic Waste Nuclear Sludge candy, manufactured in Pakistan.  (FDA)
CBSNews.com
January 28, 2011

(AP)  WASHINGTON - The U.S. government says candy imported from Pakistan called Toxic Waste Nuclear Sludge is not safe to eat. Who would have guessed?

The Food and Drug Administration announced that the U.S. distributor of Nuclear Sludge chew bars is recalling the candy because of lead contamination. No one has been sickened, but the FDA said elevated lead content could be harmful to small children, infants and pregnant women.

The candies were manufactured in Pakistan. Indianapolis-based Candy Dynamics said it would stop selling all Nuclear Sludge candy in the U.S. The candy is wrapped in bright yellow caution-like tape, and the company's website features the screech of a blaring warning horn. The bars were distributed in stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"Our product's tongue-in-cheek brand name in no way reflects the vigilant approach the company takes toward product integrity," the company said in a statement.

The California Department of Public Health first detected the contamination, measuring the candy's lead content at 0.31 parts per million. FDA regulations require foods to be below 0.1 parts per million.

Nuclear Sludge launched in 2007 and was not a major seller for the company, with sales of $32,000 last year.

Food Prices Rising Sharply Prior to Lunar New Year

A new wave of surging domestic food prices is hitting China prior to the Lunar New Year. Soaring prices have sparked consumers’ discontent while authorities attributed them to last year’s price increases in agricultural products and spiraling labor costs.

Egg Prices At Three Year High

The Daily Economic News reported on Jan. 18 that the price of a half kilo of eggs rose to 4.95 yuan (US$0.75) on the sixteenth, hitting a record high since 2008.

According to a report by the national agricultural and sideline products and price quotation system monitoring, the nationwide egg price started a counter-cyclical increase last October and reached the highest point on Nov. 29 since the monitoring was established in 2008. The price then gradually dropped and stabilized until it started rising again on Jan. 10 and set a new high, an increase of 25 percent.

Subject: Foreign Trade Zones

Not A Citizen study group
January 31, 2011

This is an urgent message!  Read this and spread the word!  Subject:
Foreign Trade Zones.

This is unbelievable at first, but you will soon
realize that there are several motives for the global communists to
physically weave our United States territory together with communist
China. Read On! Here's what is going on!

Each and every one of our state governors has approved and allocated a
certain amount of acres of their U.S. state land to be inhabited by
Chinese communists --communists straight from China!  They are to set up
little towns and live here, supposedly for the purpose of producing
Chinese products for sale in the U.S.A.  The land the states are giving
them for their little towns will be considered "foreign territory"!!!  We
are told that the laws of the state (in which these Chinese communists
dwell) will apply to the communist Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).  Comment: If
so, why are they allowed in here!??! Isn't the whole set up unlawful???

There are 257 of these little communist towns to be built all over the
United States.  Go to this website and see the list of the states, and how
many FTZ's are to be erected in each and every state!  Our nation is
being peppered all over with these communist closed towns called "zones"!
This insane brainstorm by Washington, D.C. officials was just recently
discovered by alert citizens in the State of Idaho, where an FTZ is being
built there, just south of Boise, Idaho, possibly 30,000 acres of Idaho is
going to be used for that FTZ.  Check this site quickly before it is
removed:
                         http://ia.ita.doc.gov/ftzpage/letters/ftzlist-map.html

When you get to this website, be prepared by having enough paper to print
40 pages, listing all the FTZ's to be built over the whole United States!
257 of these FTZ's!  It is absolute insanity!! How gullible are we???  The
excuse given for creating communist towns all over our nation is that
these Chinese people will produce products for sale in the United States,
and the FTZ will eliminate overseas shipping costs of the products they
create!  A bizarre excuse!!! Can't we manufacture our own products
anymore with American workers?  How foolish are we to allow this???
Remember the hard-learned lesson taught to gullible people back in ancient
times, when the Trojan Horse  was built and they pulled it past their
protective gates???  Do we Americans look THAT STUPID to the Chinese and
to our Washington,D.C. leaders???

It will not mean jobs for Americans.  All the help will be Chinese!
Besides, it is to be classed as "foreign territory", remember! You won't
know what is really going on inside the enclave.  Is there any danger for
Americans to allow this? What do you think?!!!

It is a known fact that China has been preparing for war against the
United States! Many guns are pointed at us.  Why should these FTZ's be
allowed??? What is the real reason?? Is it that Washington, D.C. needs
foreign help to disarm American citizens (who have privately-owned
firearms) so that the federal administration can comply with Public Law
87-297, signed into law by J.F. Kennedy for "general and complete
disarmament of the United States"? It is a law continually financed by
Washington, D.C. That's the law that calls for us to have no more army, no
more navy, and no more air force,  all of which is to be transferred over
on a permanent basis to the communist-dominated United Nations! That law
also prohibits all firearms from being owned by American citizens!
Without firearms, there will be no more liberty, freedom, or justice in
government.  Guns are the main core of the check and balance system.  Our
nation's founders realized that firearms in the possession of the people
are the indispensible safeguard upon which all of the other rights in the
"Bill of Rights" depend!  That's why the Second Amendment was meant to be
honored,  treasured, and preserved!

Some people are wondering if the American land in these FTZ's  is being
given as collateral for the huge debt we owe to China?  Some people are
asking: "Does China own us and is our land collateral in case we don't pay
the debt?"  China is allowing American businesses to get established in
China as FTZ's.  Americans must build the structures in China, and they
must employ all Chinese people to do the work in what is built there.
After a short amount of years, the Americans must vacate, leave the
buildings and let the Chinese keep the technology and the active operation
as on-going.  What this amounts to is transferring American technology and
management to communist China.

FTZ's are also known as SEZ's (Special Economic Zones) Please relay this
information to all your friends.  Someone has to answer for this on state
and federal levels!    What a set-up for sabotage, espionage, and a study
on how to take over the whole United States in a war!  Because the
newspapers and other media are controlled, they will not be reporting on
this unless there is a great public outcry.  Remember when being a
communist was a punishable crime in the U.S.A.  My, how we have changed!
Complete reversal.  Best to take this information to local public
officials as well as all your contacts.  Please do not delay spreading
this information. Check with Idaho Eagle Forum also for updates

U.S. town demolished over lead contamination

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) – Most of its residents left, the school closed, the city government was disbanded and starting this week nearly every commercial building in Picher, Oklahoma, will be demolished.
But the owner of the last-remaining open business in Picher, which has been vacated over the years because of lead contamination, is not ready to go.

"It's not time for me to leave yet," said Gary Linderman, owner of Old Miner's Pharmacy in what is left of central Picher, located in the northeast corner of the state.

"I have an obligation to people. We are all creatures of habit and closing might throw them off."
In addition to providing prescriptions, the pharmacy is the only place left in town to buy snack food, beverages, over-the-counter medicine and other necessities.

Linderman declined a buyout from the federal government, which declared Picher a hazardous waste site in 1981 and has bought out about 900 homeowners and businesses. Crews demolished a funeral home, restaurant, thrift shop, apartment building and other structures this week, with more to come.

Besides lead contamination, Picher has suffered in recent years from sinkholes from old mines that threaten to swallow the community. Three years ago, a tornado destroyed about 150 homes, chasing more people away.

Picher's population has shrunk from 1,640 in 2000 to only a handful of residents today. The school district and city government dissolved in 2009 and the post office closed.
The town had more than 14,000 residents in the 1920s.

Because of historic significance, a church, mining museum, auction house and a building where mining equipment was sold will remain standing, though they are abandoned. Linderman's building will be surrounded by vacant lots in what used to be downtown, but he doesn't seem to mind.
"I'm a farm boy," he said. "I'm used to the wide open spaces."

Why has Egypt's army not confronted the protests?

Egyptian anti-government protesters carried an Egyptian army officer on their shoulders Saturday in Tahrir square in Cairo. | Associated Press

WASHINGTON — As unprecedented protests have led to national chaos in Egypt, the Egyptian army has taken no decisive action to end the conflict, leaving experts to wonder which of four possibilities are governing the army's actions.

Does the military sympathize with the protesters or is it just waiting for the right moment to intervene? Is it divided internally about the proper response or does it see itself not as the protector of President Hosni Mubarak's regime but of the Egyptian state?

"There doesn't seem to be a signal clear line that the military is taking," said Joel Beinin, a professor of Middle East history at Stanford University. "They haven't been ordered to do anything one way or the other. We are still in a freeze moment. Everyone understands the Mubarak regime has lost credibility. My guess is the army is deciding what it will do next."

Egypt Protests Organized by the U.S.?

RT America
Protests inspired by the revolt in Tunisia have dominoed along Egypt, Yemen and Algeria with citizens calling for governmental change. Webster Tarpley, an investigative journalist, argues the CIA, and other intelligence services from the US and other former colonial powers are behind uprisings in Egypt and elsewhere in the Middle East.

Egypt protests: America's secret backing for rebel leaders behind uprising

The American government secretly backed leading figures behind the Egyptian uprising who have been planning “regime change” for the past three years, The Daily Telegraph has learned.

The American Embassy in Cairo helped a young dissident attend a US-sponsored summit for activists in New York, while working to keep his identity secret from Egyptian state police.
On his return to Cairo in December 2008, the activist told US diplomats that an alliance of opposition groups had drawn up a plan to overthrow President Hosni Mubarak and install a democratic government in 2011.
He has already been arrested by Egyptian security in connection with the demonstrations and his identity is being protected by The Daily Telegraph.
The crisis in Egypt follows the toppling of Tunisian president Zine al-Abedine Ben Ali, who fled the country after widespread protests forced him from office.

Inequality In America Is Worse Than In Egypt, Tunisia Or Yemen

Washington’s Blog
Jan 30, 2011

Egyptian, Tunisian and Yemeni protesters all say that inequality is one of the main reasons they’re protesting.

However, the U.S. actually has much greater inequality than in any of those countries.
Specifically, the “Gini Coefficient” – the figure economists use to measure inequality – is higher in the U.S.
Inequality In America Is Worse Than In Egypt, Tunisia Or Yemen Gini Coefficient World CIA Report 2009
[Click for larger image]
Gini Coefficients are like golf – the lower the score, the better (i.e. the more equality).
According to the CIA World Fact Book, the U.S. is ranked as the 42nd most unequal country in the world, with a Gini Coefficient of 45.
In contrast:
  • Tunisia is ranked the 62nd most unequal country, with a Gini Coefficient of 40.
  • Yemen is ranked 76th most unequal, with a Gini Coefficient of 37.7.
  • And Egypt is ranked as the 90th most unequal country, with a Gini Coefficient of around 34.4.
And inequality in the U.S. has soared in the last couple of years, since the Gini Coefficient was last calculated, so it is undoubtedly currently much higher.
So why are Egyptians rioting, while the Americans are complacent?
Well, Americans – until recently – have been some of the wealthiest people in the world, with most having plenty of comforts (and/or entertainment) and more than enough to eat.
But another reason is that – as Dan Ariely of Duke University and Michael I. Norton of Harvard Business School demonstrate – Americans consistently underestimate the amount of inequality in our nation.
