Jim Rogers: It’s Going To Get Really “Bad After The Next Election”

Jim Rogers

In a riveting interview on CNBC, legendary investor Jim Rogers warned Americans to prepare for “Financial Armageddon,” saying he fully expects the economy to implode after the U.S. election.
Rogers, who for years has been an outspoken critic of the Feds policies of “Quantitative Easing,” says the world is “drowning in too much debt.” He put the blame squarely on U.S. and European governments for abusing their “license to print money.” In the U.S. alone, the national debt has surged to nearly $16 trillion, that’s more than $50,000 for every American man, woman and child.
“[They] need to stop spending money they don’t have,” Rogers said. “The solution to too much debt is not more debt… What would make me very excited is if a few people [in the government] went bankrupt…” Rogers added.

Warrantless cellphone tracking is legal, federal court rules

[...]On Tuesday, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that law enforcement officials don’t need a warrant to track suspects via cellphones. Attorneys argued to overturn [Melvin] Skinner’s many convictions, citing that the GPS location information that led to the defendant’s arrest was obtained in violation of the Fourth Amendment, which guards against unreasonable searches and seizures. This didn’t wash with the majority of judges over the case, who voted in a 2-1 ruling.
“When criminals use modern technological devices to carry out criminal acts and to reduce the possibility of detection, they can hardly complain when the police take advantage of the inherent characteristics of those very devices to catch them,” wrote Judge John Rogers in the majority opinion that will affect future cases in a huge chunk of the country.
[...]
Here’s the crux, as it may relate to everyone else: “There is no Fourth Amendment violation because Skinner did not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in the data given off by his voluntarily procured pay-as-you-go cellphone.” That’s what Judge Rogers stated in the in the majority opinion, where he cited the Stored Communications Act. The law hamstrings the Fourth Amendment in relation to wire and electronic communications — noting that the use of third-party providers diminishes a person’s expectation of privacy

CIA Mind Control Techniques MK-ULTRA Program Brainwashing

For many Americans, the idea that the government would experiment with human subjects in order to use them as "Manchurian candidates", or mind controlled assassins is absurd.

When shootings occur, such as the recent ones at a Theater and a Sikh religious Temple, most people will blindly accept the media's assertion that these events are carried out only by crazy nuts and hateful extremists. Never is the theory of a mind controlled, or "programmed" hit man in the evening papers or the government controlled media television.

If you too, are one of these sceptics, then I suggest you watch this ABC News report from 1977 which clearly shows a government program called "MK Ultra".

After watching, think about the Assassinations of JFK and RFK, as well as many of the many so-called "random" shootings in the last decade by "lone gunmen", and then reconsider.....

CIA Mind Control Techniques MK-ULTRA Program Brainwashing
Mind control (also known as brainwashing, coercive persuasion, mind abuse, thought control, or thought reform) refers to a process in which a group or individual "systematically uses unethically manipulative methods to persuade others to conform to the wishes of the manipulator(s), often to the detriment of the person being manipulated." The term has been applied to any tactic, psychological or otherwise, which can be seen as subverting an individual's sense of control over their own thinking, behavior, emotions or decision making.

Theories of brainwashing and of mind control were originally developed to explain how totalitarian regimes appeared to succeed in systematically indoctrinating prisoners of war through propaganda and torture techniques. These theories were later expanded and modified, by psychologists including Margaret Singer, to explain a wider range of phenomena, especially conversions to new religious movements (NRMs). A third-generation theory proposed by Ben Zablocki focused on the utilization of mind control to retain members of NRMs and cults to convert them to a new religion. The suggestion that NRMs use mind control techniques has resulted in scientific and legal controversy. Neither the American Psychological Association nor the American Sociological Association have found any scientific merit in such theories.

Project MKULTRA, or MK-ULTRA, was the code name for a covert, illegal CIA human research program, run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence. This official U.S. government program began in the early 1950s, continuing at least through the late 1960s, and it used U.S. and Canadian citizens as its test subjects.

Donald Ewen Cameron (24 December 1901--8 September 1967) was a twentieth-century Scottish-American psychiatrist. Cameron was involved in Project MKULTRA, United States Central Intelligence Agency's research on torture and mind control.
Cameron lived and worked in Albany, New York, and was involved in experiments in Canada for Project MKULTRA, a United States based CIA-directed mind control program which eventually led to the publication of the KUBARK Counterintelligence Interrogation manual. He is unrelated to another CIA psychiatrist Alan Cameron, who helped pioneer psychological profiling of world leaders during the 1970s.

Naomi Klein states in her book The Shock Doctrine that Cameron's research and his contribution to the MKUltra project was actually not about mind control and brainwashing, but about designing "a scientifically based system for extracting information from 'resistant sources.' In other words, torture...Stripped of its bizarre excesses, Dr. Cameron's experiments, building upon Donald O. Hebb's earlier breakthrough, laid the scientific foundation for the CIA's two-stage psychological torture method."

Mind control in popular culture: * The communal brainwashing of an entire model community via subliminal messages is a central theme in the 2009 novel Candor by Pam Bachorz. * In the novel A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, the protagonist undergoes a scientific re-education process called the "Ludovico technique" in an attempt to remove his violent tendencies. * In his 1999 science fictin novel A Deepness in the Sky, Vernor Vinge introduces the themes of "mindrot" and controlled "Focus" later eplored in his 2006 novel. * In the novel Night of the Hawk by Dale Brown, the Soviets capture and brainwash U.S. Air Force Lieutenant David Luger, transforming him into the Russian scientist Ivan Ozerov. * In George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four (published in 1949 before the popularization of the term "brainwashing"), the fictional totalitarian government of Oceania uses brainwashing-style techniques to erase nonconformist thought and rebellious personalities. * Vernor Vinge speculates on the application of technology to achieve brainwashing in his 2006 science fiction novel, Rainbows End (ISBN 0-312-85684-9), portraying separately the dangers of JITT (Just-in-time training) and the specter of YGBM (You gotta believe me).

Brainwashing became a common trope of films, television and games in the late twentieth century. It was a convenient means of introducing changes in the behavior of characters and a device for raising tension and audience uncertainty in the climate of Cold War and outbreaks of terrorism. * The film Brazil, depicts a fascist government similar to that in George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four. The government controls a totalitarian society subconsciously by manipulation, intending to remain in control of the population. * Derren Brown: Mind Control (1999-2000)

The timing of the release of Red Dawn, a remake of the 1984 film based on the invasion of the United States, right as the police state apparatus ostensibly creeps in under the corporate controlled media's radar is uncanny. Clearly there is a foreshadowing element to the release of this film that cinematically parallels the reality of the all enveloping militarized police state at the behest of offshore banking interests hell bent on the all out destruction and domination of America.
Despite the predictive programming aspects of this film that were likely intended to condition Americans to accept the inevitable future looming on the horizon, the spirit of liberty in the Red Dawn movie trailer can not be denied and remains strong. With quotes like, "We inherited our freedom, now it’s up to all of us to fight for it", and "I can't... yes you can. Just relax, and squeeze.", clearly director Dan Bradley and screenwriters Jeremy Passmore and Carl Ellsworth have tapped into the crucial elements of sustained liberty that compel us all to a new day in the face of a Red Dawn.

Keiser Report
August 15, 2012

In this episode, Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert discuss unknown people whose solvency is uncertain operating faster than the speed of light in the "franken-market" and Max Keiser asks, "what if a high frequency trading algo bot shrugged?" In the second half of the show, Max Keiser talks to Sandeep Jaitly of feketeresearch.com about the real Austrian economics of Carl Menger versus the fake Austrian economics of Ludwig von Mises. They also discuss how Ben Bernanke's confusion about what money and how central banks are leading us into a second dark age. Max and Sandeep also highlight the reason why rehypothecation in London is fraud. And, finally, Max hopes Lew Rockwell watches and learns.

2nd Amendment Spike: nation sees upswing in gun, ammo sales

Tri-Parish Times
August 15, 2012

What if?
It’s a question that inevitably crosses millions of minds every day, but in the wake of the tragedies in Aurora, Colo., and Milwaukee, Wis., the what ifs in recent weeks have revolved around firearms, ammunition and the laws that surround them from state to state.
What if gun laws were stricter? What if someone kept track of how much ammunition the suspect had been purchasing over the past several months? What if citizens were stripped of Second Amendment rights?
Or what if someone in the theater had his or her concealed weapons license and was carrying that evening? Could a legitimate gun owner have prevented these shootings by taking out the assailant?
“It’s hard to assume, to say things could have been better or maybe worse if someone at either of these two incidents had his or her concealed weapons permit and was carrying a firearm,” said Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Capt. Jeremy Granier, who oversees the department’s concealed weapons courses. “It’s difficult and almost irresponsible to say things may have been different. These people were going to commit these crimes with or without stricter gun laws. I don’t know if stricter gun laws would have prevented either incident. The big push across the state right now is ‘see something, say something.’ If you see something unusual or see suspicious activity, alert the authorities.”
Granier, who has been overseeing the concealed-weapons course for more than five years, said the number of concealed-weapons applicants has not gone up locally in the wake of the events.
“The majority of those who come to the concealed weapons class don’t go through with getting the permit,” Granier said. “They just want to learn about gun safety and gun laws.”

40 Points That Prove That Barack Obama And Mitt Romney Are Essentially The Same Candidate

The American Dream
Aug 16, 2012
What a depressing choice the American people are being presented with this year.  We are at a point in our history where we desperately need a change of direction in the White House, and we are guaranteed that we are not going to get it.

The Democrats are running the worst president in American history, and the Republicans are running a guy who is almost a carbon copy of him.  The fact that about half the country is still supporting Barack Obama shows how incredibly stupid and corrupt the American people have become.  No American should have ever cast a single vote for Barack Obama for any political office under any circumstances.  He should never have even been the assistant superintendent in charge of janitorial supplies, much less the president of the United States.  The truth is that Barack Obama has done such a horrible job that he should immediately resign along with his entire cabinet.  But instead of giving us a clear choice, the Republicans nominated the Republican that was running that was most similar to Barack Obama.  In fact, I don’t think we have ever had two candidates for president that are so similar.  Yes, there are a few minor differences between them, but the truth is that we are heading into Obama’s second term no matter which one of them gets elected.  The mainstream media makes it sound like Obama and Romney are bitter ideological rivals but that is a giant lie.  Yeah, they are slinging lots of mud at each other, but they both play for the same team and the losers are going to be the American people.
Republicans are being told that they have “no choice” but to vote for Romney because otherwise they will get another four years of Obama.
This “lesser of two evils” theme comes out every four years.  We are told that we “must” vote for a horrible candidate because the other guy is even worse.
Well, millions of Americans are getting sick of this routine.  Perhaps that is why it is being projected that as many as 90 millionAmericans of voting age will not vote this year.
Yes, Barack Obama has been so horrible as president that it is hard to put it into words.
But Mitt Romney would be just like Barack Obama.
Those that are dreaming of a major change in direction if Romney is elected are going to be bitterly, bitterly disappointed.
The following are 40 ways that Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are essentially the same candidate….
1. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported TARP.
2. Mitt Romney supported Barack Obama’s “economic stimulus” packages.
3. Mitt Romney says that Barack Obama’s bailout of the auto industry was actually his idea.
4. Neither candidate supports immediately balancing the federal budget.
5. They both believe in big government and they both have a track record of being big spenders while in office.
6. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both fully support the Federal Reserve.
7. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are both on record as saying that the president should not question the “independence” of the Federal Reserve.
8. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both said that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke did a good job during the last financial crisis.
9. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both felt that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke deserved to be renominated to a second term.
10. Both candidates oppose a full audit of the Federal Reserve.
11. Both candidates are on record as saying that U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has done a good job.

Americans disapprove the job of Congress

August 15, 2012

Congress is doing a horrible job--at least that's what 9 in 10 Americans think according to recent polling.Experts critical of the way Washington operates say that politicians aren't working hard enough to improve the economy and get people back to work--and that's what's most damaging to the country.

Welcome to the land of the poor and rich – Trading the middle class for economic extremes.

MyBudget360.com
August 16, 2012

The extremes in the US have gotten more pronounced in this economic crisis.  It is hard to imagine a country where 46 million people are living with the assistance offood stamps while 6 of the 400 top income earners pay no federal tax.  I’m sure that just like most Americans you pay your fair share of taxes.  Of course the real burden has fallen on the middle class since the recession hit in 2007.  Most of the ultra-wealthy have their money vested in the stock market and since the lows in 2009, the market is up well over 100 percent.  The number one asset of the middle class in housing is still down over 30 percent from the peak and is trying to squeeze out a gain in 2012.  So you ask who in reality is paying for all these bailouts and transfer payments?  A massive amount of the burden is falling on the middle class and debt.
How are we paying for all this?
As we have mentioned, we are running trillion dollar deficits since we don’t have the money to pay for all of our expenses in defense spending, interest payments, Medicare, Social Security, food stamps, banking bailouts, and all other large ticket items.  In interesting data released by the IRS, it was noted that more than a quarter of people that earned an average of $200 million or more in 2009 paid less than 15 percent of their adjusted gross income in taxes.  The odds are you pay a much higher rate once you include payroll taxes and all the other taxes you pump out through daily expenses (i.e., sales tax, etc).
One thing is rather apparent and that is in the US the extremes are getting even more exaggerated.  Take a look at the number of folks on food stamps:
Foodstamps People May
You are not looking at the 100 percent stock market rally since 2009 but the massive increase in people on the verge of poverty.  Is this really a recovery?  This group of course does not have the organizational power or money to fund media campaigns but they do exist.  There are even industries that have boomed because of this trend.  At the same time income inequality has reached incredible levels:
income inequality
Source:  Mother Jones
The very wealthy have grabbed the bulk of the income gains in the last three decades.  A large part of the “new” economy has come from the finance, insurance, and real estate side of the economy that has largely operated as a spigot to siphon off funds from the productive side of the economy.  The major bailouts to the financial institutions cost taxpayers trillions of dollars in direct and indirect costs.  The direct cost was the trillions of dollars in lost home equity as the bubble popped but this did little to alter the financial bonuses many on Wall Street received even as their banks imploded in front of our eyes.  Those bonuses and paychecks kept flowing thanks to the bailouts while many middle class Americans lost their jobs.
Worker productivity has risen but little of the gains have gone to workers.  Most have used the economic crisis and high unemployment to become more competitive by creating a culture of low wage capitalism.  That is, the vast majority of Americans need to compete through fierce competition taking what they can in a system of predatory capitalism while those in the connected financial sector merely use politicians as a line item expense on their crony business models.  It is no coincidence that we now have a rise of millionaire Congressmen.  In other words, the very poor have food stamps while the ultra rich have welfare bailouts.  The only difference is the price tag.
We largely created a stifled system.  The Federal Reserve is shifting the cost of the financial crisis on the backs of the middle class.  Do you really think the wealthy bankers that created many of the products that destroyed the system will be paying for the bailouts?  Of course not.  The growing pool of poor Americans by definition rely on transfer payments so the money has to come from somewhere else.  Even with the current system, we are unable to meet all these payments so we simply run massive deficits.  Does this sound sustainable?
Interestingly enough most Americans when surveyed from both political parties would rather have a more balanced system:
Most Americans realize that wealth will be divided unequally.  In a recent survey many Americans stated an ideal situation would be where the top 20 percent owned over 30 percent of all the wealth.  The estimate was that this group held nearly 60 percent of the wealth.  In reality over 84 percent of the wealth is held here.  As you see from the chart above, the bottom 20 percent don’t even register (and likely show up on the food stamp chart).
Is this really the kind of recovery we want?  Low wage jobs, rising college costs, expensive healthcare, costlier food, and uncertainty for Social Security.  This is what happens when you have extremes at both ends of your economic system.  Americans overall are strongly in favor of having a strong middle class yet the message is distorted by those trying to keep the status quo going.  A good rule to go by is follow the money.

Amnesty for illegal aliens begins today and Congress couldn’t care less

Fox News
August 15, 2012

This lazy August morning while many Americans are on vacation blissfully detached from current events, one of President’s Obama’s most radical transformations of the American landscape takes hold. A lawless, unlegislated illegal alien amnesty becomes reality today as the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) begins to officially accept applications (no personal interview required) from almost 2 million illegal aliens seeking “deferred action.”
Americans won’t like the amnesty and they won’t like how it was done, but they’re not to blame.  Only Congress has the power to act against a president who throws the constitutional system into chaos by nullifying the laws Congress has enacted and governs by imperial edicts. Congress is out of town now, but frankly, even when they were in town they were out of touch and unwilling to challenge President Obama’s usurpation of their exclusive plenary authority over immigration policy.
Today’s amnesty is the dénouement of the backdoor tactics this president has been peddling since taking office and should have been no surprise to Congress.
Congress needs to wake up, show up, stand up and remind itself that they rejected the DREAM Act as recently as December 2010.
-
They should have stopped it long before it reached this point. After all, for the past 3 and a half years, the  administration has bypassed Congress while it systematically dismantled most interior immigration enforcement by gutting programs Congress enacted, rewritten guidelines, and claimed limitless   prosecutorial discretion in an effort to allow all but the most violent criminal aliens to remain. “Merely” violating immigration laws is now inconsequential in the eyes of this administration. Yet, with a few exceptions in the House and Senate, Congress has said nothing, done nothing.
In June, the Obama administration further usurped congressional authority by announcing it was unilaterally amending federal immigration policy to grant amnesty to illegal aliens who met criteria similar to that of the failed DREAM Act. This circumvention of congressional power came not in the form of an executive order or regulation, but by a mere policy memorandum authored by the Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. Shortly afterwards, President Obama publicly declared the new law of the land.  Again, Congress sat idly by, surrendering the authority it is granted to regulate immigration to a White House eager to use it for political purposes.

Unblinking surveillance stare: Army’s 7-story flying football field-sized blimp

Ms. Smith
NetworkWorld.com

When you think about high-tech “intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance” (ISR) breakthroughs, does a gigantic $172 million blimp immediately come to mind? If not, then join the club. In fact my first thought when learning about the U.S. Army’s new blimp was Hindenburg.
It’s not fashionable to call this flying spy (hybrid military airship) a “blimp,” but a Long Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle (LEMV). You are no doubt familiar with the Goodyear blimp that hovers over football games, but the LEMV is almost the size of a seven-story flying football field; it’s meant to fly at speeds between 30 and 80 knots without ceasing for 21 straight days while providing an “unblinking” eye of surveillance.
Northrop Grumman has a $517 million contract to build three of these 21st-century robotic airships for the U.S. Army. The first of three had a successful 90-minute test flight last week from the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. This first test flight included two pilots, but the Army intends for the LEMV to be like the Predator, an unmanned flying surveillance machine. Both Northrop Grumman and the Army must like the term “unblinking,” as it was used several times to describe the “Revolutionary ISR Weapon System” aka the LEMV.

The U.S. government’s coming war with the American people

Insane quantities of govt. ammo purchases point to only one purpose
Mike Adams
Natural News
August 15, 2012
At the same time politicians in Washington are openly talking about banning online ammo sales to American citizens, the government itself is arming to the teeth.

And not in a military sense, either: The Department of Homeland Security is stockpiling insane quantities of anti-personnel “hollow-point” ammo of all calibers, including #00 tactical shotgun ammo, anti-personnel pistol rounds and match-grade .308 sniper rounds. As the DHS fights no foreign wars and only has jurisdiction in the United States, the only purpose of this ammo can be for use against the American people.
The most recent DHS solicitation contract is seeking massive quantities of anti-personnel ammunition for the “DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT TRNG CTR.” The PDF document showing this is available at:
https://www.fbo.gov/utils/view?id=500096e56b0d8362d91e93cf105309c3
We have made a backup copy on NaturalNews at:
http://www.naturalnews.com/files/DHS_ammo_buy.pdf
There’s good coverage of this story, by the way, at:
http://www.prisonplanet.com/dhs-to-purchase-another-750-million-round…
As you can see for yourself, this DHS contract requests huge quantities of all the following ammunition (and much more):
• Over one million rounds of hollow-point .223 rifle ammo
• Over half a million rounds of non-hollow-point .223 rifle ammo
• 220,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun #7 ammo (target ammo)
• Over 200,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun #00 buckshot ammo (tactical anti-personnel ammo)
• 66,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun slugs (tactical anti-personnel, anti-vehicle rounds)
• Over two million rounds of hollow-point .357 Sig JPH (hollow-point) pistol ammo (anti-personnel)
• Over four million rounds of .40 S&W JPH (hollow-point) pistol ammo (anti-personnel)
• Over 60,000 rounds of .308 match grade anti-personnel sniper rounds (BTHP)
• Plus, hundreds of thousands of additional rounds of .38 special, .45 auto, 9mm, 7.62×39 (AK rifle) ammo, and others.
This is on top of the massive 450 million .40 S&W hollow point rounds the DHS has already requisitioned (http://www.naturalnews.com/035649_DHS_ammunition_domestic_war.html).
The only rational conclusion: DHS is training a domestic army for war with the American people
There is only one rational conclusion to all this: The Department of Homeland Security is training a domestic army — an army of pedophiles, perverts, child porn distributors and drug dealers — to wage a shooting war with the American people.
I have warned about the rise of the Nazi-like power of the DHS (http://www.naturalnews.com/035607_government_checkpoints_Martial_Law….), and now we’re seeing the result of a runaway power grab that will, before very long, be used to engage in mass shootings of American protestors.
What protestors, you ask? The protestors who will take to the streets immediately following the collapse of the global banking fraud, of course. And if that’s new information to you, you need to get ahead of the curve on real-time history in the making. The global banking cartel is based on a pyramid of total financial fraud, and it’s going to come crashing down within the next 24 months, according to some estimates (see Keiser, below). Imagine Chase, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs all bankrupt, their stock worth zero. Suffocated under endless trillions of fraudulent derivatives. That’s what’s coming, it seems, and if you want the hard-hitting analysis of this situation, listen to this recent interview between Max Keiser and Alex Jones entitled, “We’re in A Financial Holocaust”
http://www.prisonplanet.com/max-keiser-were-in-a-financial-holocaust….
Ron Paul warns about all this in his own video released on May 10, 2012, which describes the coming financial collapse and martial law:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVKcB_PSdb8
I also highly recommend this interview between James Wesley Rawles and Alex Jones:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=STfEPWB6MJs
The U.S. government clearly sees the writing on the wall. What lays ahead for America is a day of unbearable reckoning. The financial collapse will wipe out savings accounts, pensions, investment funds and equities of the working class, all across the nation. Imagine bank accounts being reset to zero, “bank holidays” enforced at gunpoint. That will unleash a wave of violent protests, social chaos and even talk of revolution. The government will almost certainly respond with a declaration of Martial Law, the rolling out of highway checkpoints, and before long, the use of live ammo on unruly protesters.
What is about to unfold in America will make the Kent State incident of 1970 look like a peace rally. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kent_State_shootings)
As the government stockpiles ammo, so do the citizens
What’s happening behind the scenes in America right now is a massive armament build-upof epic proportions. The government itself is arming to the teeth, but at the same time, sales of guns and ammo to private citizens have smashed through all historical records. Ammunition prices are rising steadily and rifles, handguns and shotguns are out of stock everywhere. Gun manufacturers are running double and triple shifts in their own factories, trying to keep up with demand, and some have simply cancelled all new orders for the next few months until they get caught up.
I’ve even noticed myself getting caught up in the rush. Every time there’s another shooting in the USA, people like Obama, Bloomberg and Schumer call for gun restrictions, and I find myself immediately buying another firearm. Why? Because people want what they perceive will soon be unavailable. It’s basic human psychology. That’s why many gun shops in the USA credit Obama as being “salesperson of the year.” Nobody has caused more guns to be sold to more U.S. citizens than President Obama. His power to cause citizens to arm themselves at breakneck speed is legendary. Every time he opens his mouth, it seems, citizens flood the gun shops with cash at the ready.
The result of all this is a massive nationwide escalation of firepower, and the potential for serious conflict on the issue of liberty versus government power. The government, of course, wants to control everything and turn citizens into obedient minions. Many citizens have a problem with that, and they demand a restoration of Constitutional liberties (which have been stripped away by nearly everyone in Washington, including Bush, Obama and yes, even the new VP candidate Paul Ryan, who voted for the NDAA). (http://www.naturalnews.com/034537_NDAA_Bill_of_Rights_Obama.html)
At this point, my personal belief is that we’re sadly already past the point of no return. I see the very high possibility of the U.S. government engaging in a shooting war with the U.S. population within the next 24 months. Obviously, my wish is that no such acts of violence take place, but history has shown that when the population wakes up and realizes how royally they’ve all been ripped off, deceived and enslaved, it results in a spontaneous outburst of rage against the system. History has shown this is the stuff of revolutions, and revolutions are rarely peaceful.
My advice to NaturalNews readers? As I’ve said for years, don’t join in angry protestsbecause from here forward, they are likely to be very, very violent. We are going to see literal blood in the streets, and I don’t want you anywhere near that.
Hunker down at your home, farm or apartment. Defend yourself, support the effort to keep the peace in your local community, and at every opportunity work to de-escalate violence and seek the restoration of liberty through peaceful means. Fight with words, not guns, wherever possible.
If you want even more details about what I see coming, listen to this Coast to Coast AM show from last Saturday night, where I was recently interviewed by John B Wells.

Economic recovery is weakest since World War II

Yahoo News
August 15, 2012

WASHINGTON (AP) — The recession that ended three years ago this summer has been followed by the feeblest economic recovery since the Great Depression.
Since World War II, 10 U.S. recessions have been followed by a recovery that lasted at least three years. An Associated Press analysis shows that by just about any measure, the one that began in June 2009 is the weakest.
The ugliness goes well beyond unemployment, which at 8.3 percent is the highest this long after a recession ended.
Economic growth has never been weaker in a postwar recovery. Consumer spending has never been so slack. Only once has job growth been slower.
More than in any other post-World War II recovery, people who have jobs are hurting: Their paychecks have fallen behind inflation.
Many economists say the agonizing recovery from the Great Recession, which began in December 2007 and ended in June 2009, is the predictable consequence of a housing bust and a grave financial crisis.
Credit, the fuel that powers economies, evaporated after Lehman Brothers collapsed in September 2008. And a 30 percent drop in housing prices erased trillions in home equity and brought construction to a near-standstill.
So any recovery was destined to be a slog.
"A housing collapse is very different from a stock market bubble and crash," says Nobel Prize-winning economist Peter Diamond of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "It affects so many people. It only corrects very slowly."
The U.S. economy has other problems, too. Europe's troubles have undermined consumer and business confidence on both sides of the Atlantic. And the deeply divided U.S. political system has delivered growth-chilling uncertainty.
The AP compared nine economic recoveries since the end of World War II that lasted at least three years. A 10th recovery that ran from 1945 to 1948 was not included because the statistics from that period aren't comprehensive, although the available data show that hiring was robust. There were two short-lived recoveries — 24 months and 12 months — after the recessions of 1957-58 and 1980.

600.000 Guns Destroyed in Australia, Under The Guise of Protecting the People

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!!!

Just imagine if there had been a CCW liscensed gun carrier in Colorado at the Showing of the Batman movie, or a couple of CCW carriers.

There would not have possibly been so many tragic deaths of innocent Americans.

Likewise in the Sikh Temple shooting that recently took place.

Here in the United States, we know that guns are essential to freedom. Our founding Fathers knew that guns are what give the people freedom from the tyrannical mechinations of government.

In Australia however, we can see that the government agenda of total disarmament is nothing more than an attempt to control and to enslave the Australian people.

Will we Allow the same tyrannical legislation to take away our only means of defending freedom?

You Will Not Believe What Some People Are Willing To Do For A Paycheck These Days

Michael Snyder
The Economic Collapse
Aug 14, 2012
It is absolutely amazing what some people will do to make a living in this economy.  Desperate times call for desperate measures, and we have not seen this kind of desperation for jobs in America since the Great Depression of the 1930s.

What some people are willing to put up with just to bring home a paycheck these days will totally shock you.  For example, would you slaughter dogs all day long even though you are really a dog lover?  Would you personally train your replacement from China even though you knew he was about to take your job?  Would you trade sex for a job?  There are people out there actually doing all these things and worse.  Every night in America, millions upon millions of people roll around endlessly in their beds and stare at their ceilings for hours because they can’t sleep.  They are sick to their stomachs because their money is gone and nobody will hire them.  They can’t provide even the basics for their families and they feel worthless.  Unemployment can be absolutely soul crushing and it can suck the life right out of you.  Things were supposed to be better by now, but they aren’t.  The month after Barack Obama took office the unemployment rate broke the 8 percent barrier and it has stayed above it ever since.  But the truth is that the “official” unemployment number greatly understates the real amount of suffering that is going on out there.  In reality, the percentage of working age Americans that have jobs is lower today than when the last recession ended.  There are millions upon millions of Americans that are desperate for some hope, and there is no hope on the horizon.  In fact, things are going to be getting a whole lot worse for the U.S. economy.
I like personal stories because they tell us things that all of the economic statistics in the world never could.
There are millions of Americans that have had their lives totally turned upside down by this economy.  They feel abandoned and worthless, and many of them feel as though life is no longer worth living.
As you read the following stories, try to put yourself in their shoes and try to feel their pain.
Also, try to remember that these kinds of stories are going to multiply in the years ahead as the U.S. economy falls apart all around us.
A 61-Year-Old Woman Begging For A Job
A recent article posted on gawker.com included the story of a 61-year-old woman who has been through hell and back during this economic downturn….
I sent out close to 500 resumes. Most never were even acknowledged and those that were I was told I was over qualified. When you would press them they would fumble but I was sure my age was part of the “over qualified”. The thoughts of wanting life to be over were with me every day. I wanted the horror to stop. Every time I would hear of the unemployment rates I would cry-what about ME.
At one point she was so desperate she took a job where she was making the decision about what dogs to slaughter at an animal shelter.  Approximately 85 percent of the dogs at the shelter ended up being killed, and she was working about 80 hours a week doing this.  The really sad part is that she really loves dogs….
In 2008 I was able to get a job at the local shelter as a dog trainer. That turned into a job as an Operations Manager. Though I was thankful for the job we had a euthanasia rate of nearly 85%. I was the one that would be the decision maker on who lives and dies of over 10,000 animals per year and the toll mentally was hard. Being salary I was working nearly 80 hours a week due to shorthanded staff.
After she was fired for not being aggressive enough in killing off dogs, she started endlessly sending out resumes once again.  Nobody wants to hire her, and she essentially feels like an old lady begging for a job….
Since February I began sending out 3 resumes a day. As the no return answer, over qualified and now I was getting I was out of engineering too long I started to set my sights lower. I have sent in resumes to sit in the booth in gas stations, secretary and so on. Local colleges have said I am qualified to teach there but they have no openings. I am for all purposes the old lady begging for a job.
Personally Training Their Replacements
If you knew that your company was going to tear down your factory and send your job to China, would you personally train your replacement?
That is what a whole bunch of workers in Illinois are doing.
The following is from a recent article that appeared in the Guardian….
The shock of losing a precious job in a town afflicted by high unemployment is always hard. A foundation for a stable family life and secure home instantly disappears, replaced with a future filled with fears over health insurance, missed mortgage payments and the potential for a slip below the breadline.
But for Bonnie Borman – and 170 other men and women in Freeport, Illinois – there is a brutal twist to the torture. Borman, 52, and the other workers of a soon-to-be-shuttered car parts plant are personally training the Chinese workers who will replace them.
It’s a surreal experience, they say. For months they have watched their plant being dismantled and shipped to China, piece by piece, as they show teams of Chinese workers how to do the jobs they have dedicated their lives to.
Can you imagine that?
Would you be willing to do the same thing just to keep the paychecks coming in for as long as possible?
Sadly, both major political parties are obsessed with promoting unrestricted free trade even though millions of American jobs continue to go overseas.
Our top political candidates even argue about which of them love “free trade” more.
It truly is sickening.
Do you remember when U.S. taxpayers bailed out the auto industry?
Well, since the auto industry bailout approximately 70 percent of all GM vehicles have been built outside the United States.
The insanity has gotten to such a level that some Americans simply cannot take it anymore.  Just consider the following example from a recent article by Donald L. Barlett and James B. Steele….
On his last day on the job, Kevin Flanagan, after clearing out a few personal effects and putting them in boxes in the back of his Ford Ranger, left the building where he’d worked for seven years.
He settled into the front seat of his pickup truck on the lower level of the company garage, placed a 12-gauge Remington shotgun to his head, and pulled the trigger. He was 41 years old.
He was a computer programmer. He’d been a programmer his entire working life. Until, that is, his job was shipped overseas. The business of moving traditional U.S. jobs abroad-called “outsourcing”-has been one of this country’s few growth industries. It’s the ultimate short-sighted business promoted by the country’s elite because it means lower wages and fatter profits. As for the American workers eliminated along the way, they are just collateral damage.
It turns out that Kevin’s replacement was a programmer from India that he personally trained.
