Boehner: Health Bill 'Not Quite as Dead as I Want It'

The Globalist Push To Crush The Rich Nations In Preparation For Global Carbon Tax And New World Order

Mark Matheny

In 1990, Maurice Strong (Secretary General of the United Nations at the time) gave an interview to WEST magazine, where he described how he envisioned the Earth being saved:

“Each year the World Economic Forum convenes in Davos, Switzerland. Hundreds of CEO’s, prime ministers, finance ministers, and leading academics gather each February to attend meetings and set the economic agendas for the year ahead.

“What if a small group of these world leaders were to conclude that the principle risk to the earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment? Will they do it? Will the rich countries agree to reduce their impact on the environment? Will they agree to save the earth?

“The group’s conclusions is ‘no.’ The rich countries won’t do it. They won’t change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilization collapse? Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?”

My friends, it looks as though his plans are coming to fruition.

Socialist HealthScare Imminent?

Mark Matheny

Here are some hi-lights on the Health care debate. Why there is a debate over this Unconstitutional issue in our Government is another issue.

The heat is on now for the Obama Administration to pass this Unconstitutional measure through, although at least 60% or more of the American people are vehemently opposed to it. In the 1st clip Joe Biden sits in the Middle East (The Abomination of Desolation sitting in the Holy Place?) as he feeds the garbage through the Media Slime Ball- Chris Mathews- "Shill Extraordinaire".

What they all will fail to tell you (except for Ron Paul) is that this is an unconstitutional takeover of our healthcare by the government! Call your Representatives now!!!!! (Who by the way, will not be covered by this Socialist Healthcare system!- Oh no, theirs is a much better form of coverage called " The Haves" Heathcare !) Guess who that leaves us as!   Right! "THE HAVE NOTS"!!!!

New wave of foreclosures threatens market

Up to 7 million homes are potentially eligible but haven’t been repossessed

By Renae Merle
updated 2 hours, 21 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - The housing market is facing swelling ranks of homeowners who are seriously delinquent but have yet to lose their homes, and this is threatening a new wave of foreclosures that could hit just as the real estate market has begun to stabilize.

About 5 million to 7 million properties are potentially eligible for foreclosure but have not yet been repossessed and put up for sale. Some economists project it could take nearly three years before all these homes have been put on the market and purchased by new owners.

And the number of pending foreclosures could grow much bigger over the coming year as more distressed borrowers become delinquent and then, if they can't obtain mortgage relief, wade through the foreclosure process, which often takes more than a year to complete.

631 Million Credit Cards for 113 Million Households – Credit Card Excess Contracting for First Time in 40 Years. How Plastic Hid Middle Class Financial Decay.
Posted: 10 Mar 2010 11:10 PM PST

It is estimated that in 2010 we will have 181 million Americans carrying credit cards. Now this is interesting given that Census data from 2008 only shows 113 million households. The credit card is ubiquitous flowing through our economy like a river of easy money. Yet credit cards have become a major pitfall for many consumers. Hidden fees, double-cycle billing, and criminally high interest rates have pushed many Americans into financial tight corners. The credit card as it turns out is a dangerous financial item even if you can have a kitten screened onto the card.

If we want to understand the credit card industry we first should take a look at the most popular cards out on the market:

In total there are 631 million credit cards in circulation from Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Now given that we only have 308 million people in the U.S. many under the age of 16, many people have multiple credit cards. It doesn’t seem odd for people to spend and buy with basically creating debt with each purchase. The above chart also shows the amount of debit cards out in circulation. In fact, making debit cards virtually identical to credit cards has created a psychological notion that debit and credit are interchangeable. They are not. This is obvious but do anything enough times and you can easily convince yourself of anything including believing the idea that debt equals wealth. Debit cards access money you have while credit cards mortgage your future for a current item.

Americans are carrying an enormous amount of credit card debt. The massive spike in credit card debt started 40 years ago when the middle class started losing ground. You can almost mark the exact date when we started using credit to make up for the lost wage growth:

Since the early 1970s Nixon shock, Americans started losing their manufacturing base but also their ability to maintain competitive wages. In 1968 Americans carried $1.3 billion in revolving credit. By 2008 that number was up to $975 billion. Nonstop growth for nearly 40 years. Yet for the first time in over a generation this amount has fallen by a large number. Today, $864 billion in revolving debt is outstanding. Since the peak in 2008 we have seen consumer credit contract by a stunning $111 billion. For a consumption driven economy this does not bode well for economic growth since many Americans are finding it harder to spend in such a weak employment market.

As the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve they have artificially pushed interest rates to historical lows, but banks have decided to keep credit card rates at extremely high rates:

How is it that the biggest beneficiaries from the Wall Street and banking bailouts are now able to charge such an outrageous margin on credit cards? These are the banks that received taxpayer assistance supposedly to create more access of credit for middle class Americans. We certainly are not seeing that. And who are the biggest credit card issuers?

U.S. general purpose credit card market share in 2008 based on outstandings
(Note: 2007 ranking in parentheses)

  • 1. JPMorgan Chase – 21.22% (17.74%)
  • 2. Bank of America – 19.25% (19.36%)
  • 3. Citi – 12.35% (13.03%)
  • 4. American Express – 10.19% (11.40%)
  • 5. Capital One – 6.95% (6.95%)
  • 6. Discover – 5.75% (5.65%)
  • 7. Wells Fargo – 4.21% (3.07%)
  • 8. HSBC – 3.47% (3.65%)
  • 9. U.S. Bank – 2.14% (1.84%)
  • 10. USAA Savings – 2.02% (2.01%)

The top four issuers corner a large portion of the market and are some of the biggest bailout recipients. The economy for most Americans still hasn’t recovered. Credit card defaults are simply a reflection of this reality. The fact that revolving credit has contracted so sharply in the face of $13 trillion in bank bailouts and support is only demonstrating that banks are unable to lend out money to consumers who can actually pay the money back. Banks also need the money to combat their weaker Swiss Cheese like balance sheet.

Most Americans can’t envision a marketplace with no credit cards. Many are now having to adjust to the new economic realities in the economy. Yet the fact that less revolving credit is in the market tells us consumers are pulling back on using their credit cards or banks are simply issuing less credit. In the end, middle class Americans simply cannot spend like they once did. Many are now realizing that they will have to save to purchase items and that isn’t necessarily bad. But with stagnant wages many are finding it hard to save and with no credit card access, dealing with realities that haven’t hit this country for a generation seems as surreal as believing that plastic is money.

Cartoon Predicts the future 50 Years Ago!

Mark Matheny

This cartoon was made over 50 years ago, but rings very true for our time. In this cartoon, the government appears as a "snake oil salesman" who wants to sell an elixir - in this case National Socialism - for the mere price of Freedom. Thankfully the watchful eye of "John Q. Public" sees the elixir for what it really is- POISON!!!
My hope is that our current generation can see the elixir being sold to them, and reject it.

Herbicide turns male frogs female, study says

By Mark Matheny

This article appeared in The Columbus Dispatch on March 2, 2010. It reminded me of some of the remarks in the book Ecoscience written by John Holdron in 1977 wherein he advocated putting sterilants in the water supply in order to control population.

Herbicide turns male frogs female, study says

By David A. Farenhold
The Washington times

Washington- A new Study shows that male frogs exposed to the herbicide atrazine- commonly found in U.S. rivers and streams- can make a startling developmental U-turn, turning female so completely that they can mate with other males and lay viable eggs.

The study will focus new attention on concerns about atrazine, which is applied to an estimated 75 percent of American cornfields. Its manufacturer, the Swiss agricultural giant Syngenta, says the product is safe for wildlife, and for people who are exposed to small amounts in drinking water.

In recent years, however, some studies have seemed to show that atrazine can drive natural hormone systems haywire in fish, birds, rats, and frogs. In some cases, male animals exposed to the chemical developed female characteristics.

The study led by Tyrone Hayes, a professor at the University of California, was published in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. It showed an even starker transformation: Among a group of male African clawed frogs raised in water tainted with atrazine, he said, a fraction grew up to look and act like females.

"Ten percent of the chromosomal males become completely, functionally female," Hayes said in a telephone interview. "They can lay eggs (and) they mate with other males."

The offspring of those unions were all male, he said, since both parents were genetically male. No female frogs were treated with atrazine in the study.

The other 90 percent of the exposed frogs retained some male features, Hays said, but often showed signs of "feminization," including lower testosterone levels and fertility. When pitted head -to- head against males that had not been exposed to atrazine, the atrazine-treated males frequently lost out in competion for female frogs.

Hayes said the reason for these changes could be that atrazine, when absorbed through the frog's skin, helps produce an enzyme that converts an unusual amount of testosterone into estrogen.

Those findings run counter to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's pronouncement in 2007 that atrazine does not cause problems in amphibian development. (Bold printed emphasis added)

Now think about the article in light of a quote taken from the book Ecoscience:

Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development. To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock. Pg 787-788

In this statement Holdron says "No such sterilant exists today, nor does one appear to be under development."

I wonder.

Seven CIA Veterans Challenge 9/11 Commission Report

Official Account of 9/11 a “Joke” and a “Cover-up”

September 23, 2007 – Seven CIA veterans have severely criticized the official account of 9/11 and have called for a new investigation. “I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke,” said Raymond McGovern, 27-year veteran of the CIA, who chaired National Intelligence Estimates during the seventies. “There are a whole bunch of unanswered questions. And the reason they’re unanswered is because this administration will not answer the questions,” he said. McGovern, who is also the founder of VIPS (Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity), is one of many signers of a petition to reinvestigate 9/11.[1]

Dissenters To Be Detained As “Enemy Belligerents”?

Paul Joseph Watson

Monday, March 8, 2010

Since the establishment media is convinced that tea party members, 9/11 truthers, libertarians, Ron Paul supporters, and basically anyone with a dissenting political opinion is a likely domestic terrorist, they should be celebrating the fact that a new bill would allow the government to detain such people as “enemy belligerents” indefinitely and without trial based on their “suspected activity”.

The “Enemy Belligerent, Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010,” introduced by Senators John McCain and Joseph Lieberman on Thursday with little fanfare, “sets out a comprehensive policy for the detention, interrogation and trial of suspected enemy belligerents who are believed to have engaged in hostilities against the United States by requiring these individuals to be held in military custody, interrogated for their intelligence value and not provided with a Miranda warning,” writes the Atlantic’s Marc Ambinder.

Help Oppose the President's Health Care Proposal

Help Oppose the President’s Health Care Proposal

The latest battle in the healthcare war is being waged using a new strategy -- the circumvention of the intent, spirit, and true definition of the legislative process by supplementing the already-passed Senate health care bill with a second bill to modify the Senate bill as per President Obama's most recent health care proposal. Congressional Democrats propose that the House pass the Senate bill, then have both houses pass this second bill by means of the budget reconciliation process***. The 1974 reconciliation method is the perfect vehicle to navigate around certain obstacles like a Republican filibuster. Besides, the budget reconciliation process only requires a 51-vote majority in the Senate and limits debate to 20 hours.

budget reconciliation process***

The President’s Proposal has had no official cost analysis completed but the White House estimates that the plan would cost about $950 billion over 10 years. The plan would extend coverage to more than 31 million Americans by 2019. And the excise tax to help pay for this latest unconstitutional, healthcare budget buster would be delayed for insurers and employers until 2018.

The role of federal regulators, czars and overseers would be expanded in order to review and block premium increases by private companies. The federal government would be able to supersede the authority of the states if it so chooses, which is another intrusion into what has historically and constitutionally been reserved to the states.

The broad language pertaining to abortion funding in the Senate version remains in the president’s version as government officials “believe they cannot make changes to the Senate language on abortion” when using budget reconciliation.

Nonetheless, passage of Obama’s personal plan for the nation’s health care may not be achieved as easily as originally planned, given the political climate and the resurgence of constitutional awareness.

This is a crucial issue at a crucial time and it is up to each and every one of us to relentlessly persevere in contacting our elected representatives to insist they vote “no” on any unconstitutional, government-run healthcare plan, no matter how many times it is presented and re-presented to us.
