One if by land … lasers if by sea.

A futuristic laser mounted on a speeding cruiser successfully blasted a bobbing, weaving boat from the waters of the Pacific Ocean -- the first test at sea of such a gun and a fresh milestone in the Navy's quest to reoutfit the fleet with a host of laser weapons, the Navy announced Friday.

"We were able to have a destructive effect on a high-speed cruising target," chief of Naval research Rear Adm. Nevin Carr told FoxNews.com.

Glenn Beck dons Freemasonic patch during broadcast

It was on his Friday, April 1, program, but it was no joke. Glenn Beck, who has announced he will leave Fox News, was blatantly wearing a masonic emblem over his grey sweater, quite a conspicuous clothing accessory.

Included in the imagery is a Mason’s compass, a skull, a scroll & pen, and what appears to be 1681, a possible reference to the year Freemason William Penn founded Philadelphia (later the first capital of the United States) and Pennsylvania. Why would Beck choose this apparel? Is it an obscure reference to colonial founders or a tip-off that his allegiances lie with the secret society-elites who have long wielded power?

Grass-roots lawsuit surge aiming at Federal Reserve

U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas
Americans have watched the value of their currency drop some 90-plus percent since the Federal Reserve took control of setting interest rates, lending and borrowing policies and the literal printing of cash, and a growing group – some 5,000 individuals are aboard already – are saying enough is enough.
They plan to take the private agency to court and suggest that damages could be $100 trillion or more. Most Americans probably are eligible for damages, they say.
The backlash against what U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, has described as the unconstitutional assignment of a congressional responsibility – the coinage of money – to a private entity, is manifesting itself in the plans for court action.
But this would not be just another case: the proposal being developed by the PatriotStorm organization at its SuetheFed.com website envisions teams of attorneys analyzing data, demanding information, verifying damages and arguing court cases.

Obama’s Plan on Gas Prices Is…

Following up on our previous post in which a top official with the American Petroleum Institute says we can expect gas prices to rise to $5 per gallon, John Hawkins happens to have piece up today on Barack Obama’s plan to address gas prices … well, sort of.
It’s not exactly about Obama’s plan to address gas prices, because … even with prices having risen 30% over the last year and now averaging $3.69 per gallon (up 67% since he took office) … Obama has no such plan. Only what Hawkins aptly describes as Obama’s Plan To Come Up With A Plan To Convince People He Has A Plan On Gas Prices:
Obama hates the oil industry, he’s blocking drilling in ANWR, he still has the clamps down on drilling in the Gulf — in other words, if it increases the price of oil, he’s favor. If he were honest, Obama would simply make the case to the American people for high gas prices. But of course, Obama’s not honest. He’s a diehard socialist with a moderate candy shell designed to trick people into swallowing his leftism. So instead of the truth, we get a dog and pony show that’s designed to mislead the American people …

Ron Paul: New World Order Using Financial Crisis, Wars To Enhance Globalism 120309top2

Congressman Ron Paul, icon to liberty lovers the world over, sent a stark message this week to ruling elite “internationalists” attempting to expand globalism via the Western military industrial complex – you will fail.
Speaking on the nationally syndicated Alex Jones Show, Paul expressed his concern that a deeply malign form of globalism is being promoted and expanded on the back of international crises, namely the political upheaval in the middle east and north Africa, coupled with ongoing financial meltdown.

“The new world order people see it as an opportunity to move one step forward.” Paul stated, alluding to an infamous description of the current US led international coalition of powers.

“Bush senior bragged about that, remember he didn’t want to go to Congress, he came and got a token approval in 1990/91 for the Persian Gulf war, but he got his orders from the UN, he didn’t need to go to Congress… That was the first time I heard a president use the words ‘new world order’, anyone who used that had to be a conspiracy nut, but Bush was saying this is what we need to do for the ‘new world order’.” Paul explained.

“They go to war under NATO and the UN, not by the Congress,” Paul added. “But ultimately the big one is to control the money, so they are making their plans to have a world wide fiat currency through the IMF/World Bank operations.”

As reported in the Financial Times and elsewhere recently, the IMF strongly advocates the eventual introduction of a global currency, called the “bancor”, based on its own synthetic paper currency special drawing rights (SDRs), claiming it would “stabilise” the international monetary system.

“The new world order is certainly looking at this monetary crisis, we want the Constitution, sound money, gold and silver, but at the same time the internationalists are planning for their international fiat currency.” Congressman Paul stated.

Gadhafi, in letter, asks Obama to end air strikes

AP – Libyan rebel fighters prepare rockets for use at a position west of Ajdabiya, Libya, Wednesday, April …
WASHINGTON – Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi has appealed directly to President Barack Obama to halt what the Libyan leader called "an unjust war," and wished Obama good luck in his bid for re-election next year.

In a rambling, three-page letter to Obama obtained Wednesday by The Associated Press, Gadhafi implored Obama to stop the NATO-led air campaign, which the Libyan called an "unjust war against a small people of a developing country."

"You are a man who has enough courage to annul a wrong and mistaken action," Gadhafi wrote in the letter that was sent to the State Department and forwarded immediately to the White House, according to a U.S. official who has seen the letter. "I am sure that you are able to shoulder the responsibility for that."

"To serving world peace ... Friendship between our peoples ... and for the sake of economic, and security cooperation against terror, you are in a position to keep Nato (NATO) off the Libyan affair for good," Gadhafi wrote.

White House press secretary Jay Carney confirmed that the White House received a letter from Gadhafi.
As for Gadhafi's call for a ceasefire, Carney appeared to dismiss it for now.
"The conditions the president laid out are clear," Carney told reporters traveling with Obama to New York Wednesday afternoon.

In the letter, received earlier Wednesday, Gadhafi says his country had been hurt more morally than physically by the NATO campaign and that a democratic society could not be built through missiles and aircraft. He also repeated his claim that his foes are members of the al-Qaida terrorist network.
