The Nations cry for "Peace and Security"

Now that Ariel Sharon has passed away, the leaders in the Middle East and here in the U.S. are calling for peace and security in the Middle East, and asking Netanyahu to make the move toward peace by removing Israelis from settlements that are rightfully theirs to begin with, and calling for a two state solution.

President Obama made this following statement:

“We continue to strive for lasting peace and security for the people of Israel, including through our commitment to the goal of two states living side-by-side in peace and security.”

Where have we heard these words before?

1 Thessalonians 5:3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

In the context of this scripture the Apostle Sha'ul (Paul) was explaining that there will be false promises and declarations of peace and safety in the last days preceeding  the "Yom YHWH"  or "Day of the Lord".

We see the Arab nations rejoicing over the death of Ariel Sharon, and also pressuring Israel to compromise for the sake of peace.

Leaders in the UK and Germany seem to be pushing for the Two State Solution as well, which will only set Israel up to be totally vulnerable to the Arab nations surrounding them.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s message to Israel’s current prime minister was yet more blunt, as he praised Sharon as a leader who “took brave and controversial decisions in pursuit of peace.” German Chancellor Angela Merkel, through a spokesman, applauded Sharon’s “courageous decision” to withdraw settlers from the Gaza Strip, during the Disengagement, a “historic step on the path to a deal with the Palestinians and a two-state solution.”-Times of Israel

Even the Pope's upcoming trip to Israel is being called the "Cry for Peace" visit.

This call for "Peace" however, is deceitful among these leaders. They are preparing for the destruction of Israel.

Psalm 35:20For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

Isaiah 59:8The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

 Jeremiah 6:14They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Remember the prophecy of Daniel concerning the "Man of Sin" or the "Anti-christ" :

Daniel 8:25And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Pray for the Peace of Yerushalayim my friends.
