Red Dawn will be coming to theaters across the nation in 2012. This film directed by Dan Bradley, and written by Jeremy Passmore, is a remake of the original movie from 1984. In the 1984 version, it was the Soviet menace invading the shores of America. In the latest version it will be the North Koreans hitting the shores.

When the remake version of the  film was first being written, the script called for a Chinese invasion, but this apparently offended the country that holds massive amounts of U.S. debt, and was then changed to appease the Chinese.

MGM announced that the remake version would be made "keeping in mind the post-9/11 world that we're in". It certainly seems to reflect this idea in some of the footage of the film set seen in the pictures below:

Notice the poster with pictures of a computer monitor and laptops with the word "LIES" on the monitor screens, and then the words "Now there is truth". Obviously the subliminal message here is that the information sites on the Internet are lying to you, and that you can only find the truth from the Mainstream Media.Take for example former Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller, who has called the Internet the “number one national hazard” to America's National Security. He has exaggerated the threat of cyber attacks and has advocated government control of the Internet for the "safety "of the American people.

On the other side of the photo there is a poster that sounds like it was written by the "Occupy Wallstreet" movement currently protesting in cities all across America. "DECEITFUL LEADERS -GREEDY CORPORATIONS -THIS IS NOT A DEMOCRACY".

The first two statements may reflect an accurate picture of our current situation in the U.S., but the third statement is deceptive in its presentation due to the fact that we are in fact not a Democracy. We are the REPUBLIC of the United States. The deception being presented here is the fact that the average American thinks we are a democracy, and that mob rule should be the way things are ran here in the U.S.

This is dangerous because the masses in the U.S. have been deceived into believing that government is actually "here to help" us. Therefore if we go by the mob democratic rule mentality, we will indeed continue to have an ever-increasing, all encroaching, blood sucking, Big Brother type of government.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch... Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote!" - Benjamin Franklin.

We are a Republican Government, Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of democracy... it has been observed that a pure democracy if it were practicable would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved that no position is more false than this. The ancient democracies in which the people themselves deliberated never possessed one good feature of government. Their very character was tyranny: their figure deformity.                                         - Alexander Hamilton

"A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51% of the people may take away the rights of the other 49%" - Thomas Jefferson

"Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their death"      - James Madison

As  you can see, the founding fathers of this nation were very much against the idea of our country being ran by democracy, or mob rule.

In the next photo you will see a public sign with "Dangerous citizen Alert". Pictures of so-called dangerous people are displayed. Of course in the movie, this would be done for the protection of the others who are not dangerous, and those not dangerous would most likely be called upon to "say something" if they "see something".

Currently, we have the Department of Homeland Security that has a similar program called "See Something-Say Something".

The Department of Homeland Security has partnered with the NCAA as well, in order to set up the "Big Brother is Watching You" agenda at sporting arenas:

Walmart has also introduced the program into their stores, with Janet Napolitano encouraging Americans to be suspicious and tell on fellow Americans they deem to be acting mysteriously or abnormally:

Unlike the movie in which the threat is coming from North Korea, our present administration is targeting "homegrown terrorists" that might be a threat. The real threat is the growing police state here in the U.S. that will ultimately deprive us of all liberty and privacy using terror as the excuse.
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin
In the film, there are also re-education centers as well. Here in the U.S. we have what is known as  the "Civilian Inmate Labor Program" and FEMA internment facilities

Basically, everything being shown as tyrannical and destructive to the freedom of America in this film, are things that come with the invasion of  an outside force. The same threats shown in the film however, are the very threats coming against us from within our own borders! They are coming from our own government!
"A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within"   - Ariel Durant (Russian Born Writer and historian, 1898-1981)
When the film comes out, remember that the real threat comes when a country is conquered first - from within.
