Wayne Madsen discusses the violations of the U.S. and NATO forces by firing upon Gaddifi forces that at the time were flying White Flags on their convoy vehicles. The white flag has been recognized as a flag of truce or surrender since as far back as 25ad.
The use of white flags to signal surrender is an ancient tradition going back to the Eastern Han dynasty in China and the Roman Empire. Violating the widely accept convention is considered an act of extreme treachery.
Under both the Geneva and Hague protocols of international humanitarian law, it is forbidden to kill or injure persons hors de combat (outside of combat) and doing so constitutes a major war crime. Infowars.com
Wayne also discusses violations in the summary execution and possible sodomizing of Gaddafi by the rebel forces. He refers to this in similarity to the Abu Graib violations of prisoners, and wonders just how far U.S. and NATO countries have fallen in depravity and evil.
