Random Shooting - or Targeted Assault on 1st and 2nd Amendment Rights?

In the Arizona shooting on Saturday, Judge John Roll, a federal judge for the United States District Court for the District of Arizona was shot dead by Jared Lee Loughner, who is now in custody. Judge Roll was originally named to the bench by George HW Bush in 1991.

It seems now, that there is one less obstacle for those who would destroy our borders. Judge Roll allowed a lawsuit filed back in 2009 by illegal immigrants against a rancher to go forward, angering many and bringing hundreds of death threats against him and his family. He also was a strong advocate for strengthening the court system to handle a growing number of border related crimes.

According to the Associated Press, he was among several federal judges who, in the 1990s,  ruled that the Brady gun law's requirement for a records check by local authorities violates the Constitutional's 10th Amendment.

Along with his tragic death, there was State Rep. Gabrielle Giffords who was wounded in the head during the attack, and appears to be in stable condition for now. What is suspicious is the fact that she also was a strong advocate for secure borders, writing a letter to Barack Obama and Janet Napolitano on April 15, 2010 requesting National Guard troops be put along the Mexican Border due to the increasing violence there.
The letter stated in part:
"The people I represent do not believe that their federal government has heard their pleas for help.  While much has been done over the past months to increase border security, it is clear that our border is not yet secure and that drug cartel violence is threatening the lives of our citizens.  The death of Mr. Krentz was an unthinkable tragedy, but many say it was only a matter of time given the increasing dangers that smuggling operations have brought to the U.S.-Mexico border.

As you know, I wrote to you on March 30 in the wake of Mr. Krentz’s murder and asked that you take immediate action to protect the people who live and work along the border.  Then and now, I believe that the deployment of the National Guard represents an essential first step in reassuring Arizona’s border communities of our commitment to their safety. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible regarding this decision."

There are many other oddities to this tragedy that makes me steer toward the opinion that sinister forces were at work here, and the objective is to use this attack as another opportunity to destroy our first and second amendment rights.

The current administration has been pushing the Globalist agenda of so-called "immigration reform" and it seems a Blue Dog Democrat as well as a Patriotic Judge were two among a few other Representatives of freedom loving Americans, who heard the voices of those fed up with Big Government and Big Sis!

May their fight continue on in every American who loves the U.S.A!

I also pray for the speedy recovery of Gabrielle Giffords.
