Israel: A Cup of Trembling to all Nations

As Israel attempts to defend herself from Hamas and Hezbollah by making sure any ships going into the area of Gaza are not carrying ammunition or weapons, the world refuses to condemn the acts of aggression made by those on the ship which was boarded by Israeli commandos on Monday in an attempt to see if contriband weapons or ammo were aboard:

 Now it is being reported by Israel intelligence that at least 50 members aboard the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara may have connections to terrorist organizations! Many blogs and News Stations are now taking the side of those aboard the ship, who refused to cooperate with Israeli authorities, rather choosing to defy any warnings as well as attacking Israeli soldiers attempting to conduct an inspection of the ship.

Among some of the contraband found aboard the vessle were bulletproof vests, night vision goggles,and a rifle scope! Does that sound like humanitarian aid? Or could it be that this vessle was bringing items that Hamas and Hezbollah would put to use?

It seems every time Israel chooses to defend herself from terrorism, the world governments around her shake their fists and condemn her. However, anytime the so- called "Palestinians" commit acts of agression - like firing missles into civilian Israeli areas, or sending women and young men to blow themselves up in highly populated Israeli cities- there is only sympathy for the "freedom fighters" who are "being occupied by Israeli forces"!

What saddens me the most is that most of the people claiming to believe the Bible, who call themselves Christian, are starting to go against Israel's right to exist. They are beginning to believe the garbage being put forth about the "Zionist" conspiracy to control the world. While there are bad elements in the government of Israel, there are certainly also bad elements here in the U.S. as well. Does that mean that The United States and the people in it have no right to exist either? For crying out loud, we are occupying just about every country on the planet!

If we have a right to protect our borders from invasion, then so does Israel! Israel has tried several times to co-exist with their surrounding Arab Nations. Have the Palestinians made the same attempt? Hell no! All they want is the complete destruction of Israel!

Article 9: Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine. This is the overall strategy, not merely a tactical phase. The Palestinian Arab people assert their absolute determination and firm resolution to continue their armed struggle and to work for an armed popular revolution for the liberation of their country and their return to it.

Article 15: The liberation of Palestine, from an Arab viewpoint, is a national (qawmi) duty and it attempts to repel the Zionist and imperialist aggression against the Arab homeland, and aims at the elimination of Zionism in Palestine

Article 22:Israel is the instrument of the Zionist movement, and the geographical base for world imperialism placed strategically in the midst of the Arab homeland to combat the hopes of the Arab nation for liberation, unity, and progress. Israel is a constant source of threat vis-à-vis peace in the Middle East and the whole world. Since liberation of Palestine will destroy the Zionist and imperialist presence and will contribute to the establishment of peace in the Middle East. That is why the Palestinian people look to the progressive and peaceful forces and urge them all, irrespective of their affiliations and beliefs, to offer the Palestinian people all aid and support in their just struggle for the liberation of their homeland.

The Arab nations surrounding Israel are only using and exploiting the so-called Palestinian people to do their dirty work! In the Palestinian Charter there is no distinction between "Zionism" and Israel, therefore to wipe out Zionism, you must wipe out Israel! What most people fail to understand, is the difference between "Zionism" ( a pure love for the Kingdom of God with all nations participating) and "Labor Zionism" which came about as a corruption of "Zionism" from it's original meaning and intent. (Listen to this excellent teaching on the difference between the two).

Therefore, I say to every Bible believing person out there, consider some scripture that reveals the end of all who come against Israel:

"In that day I will make Yerusalem a cup of trembling to all the surrounding nations; all who burden themselves with her will be cut in pieces, though all the nations be gathered against her.
Zechariah 12:3

 " Do not be silent, O Yahweh! Do not hold Your peace, and do not be still oh God! For behold, Your enemies cause a tumult, and Your haters lift up their head.
 Against Your people they devise crafty plans, and CONSPIRE against those whom You mercifully protect, saying: Come, let us destroy them as a nation! Let the name of Israel be remembered no more!
Truly they consult together WITH A SINGLE MIND: they form an ALLIANCE against You: (Notice the next lines carefully) The tents of (1) Edom and the (2) Ishmaelites, (3) Moab and the (4) Hagarites, (5) Gebal, (6) Ammon, (7) Amalek, and (8)Philistia with the inhabitants of (9) Tyre, (10) Assyria also has joined them, to lend their power to the descendents of Lot...( the Arab Nations) Do to them as You did to Midian, like Sisera, and like Yabin at the brook Kishon, Who perished at Endor, and became like refuse on the ground!
Make their Nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, their chiefs like Zebah and Zalmuna, Who said:

'Let us seize for ourselves the Houses of Yahweh as a possession!'

Oh our Mighty One, make them reel like the whirling chaff before the wind!
As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains on fire:
So pursue them with Your tempest, and frighten them with your storm!

Fill their faces with shame, that they might seek Your Name Oh Mighty One!
May they be humiliated and dismayed for ever and ever! May they perish in dishonor!
Let men know that You, Whose Name Alone is YAHWEH, Are Most High over all the earth!

Israel is not the culprit in this case. They warned the ships not to come into the area, and when the orders were ignored, Israel attempted to take steps to insure the ships were free of weapons which could be used against Israel later on by Palestinian terrorist groups such as Hamas, and Hezbollah. If we are supposedly fighting a war on terror here in the West, then Israel is all the more justified in keeping her borders and country safe from terrorists as well.
