House GOP Report Reveals Extent Of China COVID-19 Coverup; Slams WHO Director Tedros Over "Gross Mishandling"

Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee released their final report on how the CCP handled the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China - uncovering "even more disturbing evidence about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) coverup and WHO Director General Tedros’s gross mishandling of the virus that allowed it to turn into a deadly pandemic."

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX) who led the investigation wrote in the report, released on Monday:

It is crystal clear that had the CCP been transparent, and had the head of the WHO cared more about global health than appeasing the CCP, lives could have been spared and widespread economic devastation could have been mitigated. Revealing the truth is just the first step; we must hold both the CCP and WHO Director General Tedros accountable for the suffering they have allowed the world to endure.

 According to Breitbart News' Kristina Wong, the report follows an interim report issued in June - and "contains more details and new information about how the CCP punished a nurse from speaking out about the virus early on, forced American companies in China to produce personal protective equipment (PPE) for its citizens only, instructed Chinese companies around the world to begin buying up critical supplies, and threatened other countries economically if they spoke out against China."

During the early stages of the pandemic, the CCP began hoarding PPE, including masks, gowns and gloves - buying them on the international market and shipping them to China, while Chinese officials also nationalized the supply chains and manufacturing capacity of US companies operating in China, forcing companies such as General Motors and 3M to produce medical supplies for domestic use while denying export licenses.

McCaul's committee obtained a discipline notice for nurse Li Min of the eastern city of Taizhou, who discussed the virus with classmates and family via WeChat.

The discipline notice was issued as World Health Organization (W.H.O.) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was to arrive in Beijing to discuss COVID-19 with Chinese President and CCP General Secretary Xi Jinping. On January 29, 2020, Tedros praised the CCP’s response to the virus, calling it “very impressive, and beyond words” and that the CCP was “actually setting a new standard for outbreak response.” -Breitbart News

Meanwhile, China threatened to cut off critical supplies, and used their leverage as a manufacturer to threaten countries calling for an international investigation into the CCP's actions regarding the outbreak.

Notably, the report mentions an April threat China issued to Australia if they didn't halt all investigations related to the CCP's handling of the virus. According to the report, the Chinese Ambassador to Australia, Cheng Jingye, threatened a boycott of Australian goods while speaking with Financial Review.

"It is up to the people to decide. Maybe the ordinary people will say ‘Why should we drink Australian wine? Eat Australian beef?" he said, adding "The proposition is a kind of teaming up with those forces in Washington and to launch a kind of political campaign against China."

A Catholic church in New York City is being criticized for hosting a Black Lives Matter prayer session where white congregants were asked to renounce their “white privilege” in the name of “racial justice.”

During the prayer reportedly held Sunday, St. Xavier Catholic Church worshippers repeated the words of Father Kenneth Boller, who had festooned the stage with giant portraits of George Floyd, Breanna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.

“Do you affirm that white privilege is unfair and is harmful to those that have it and those who do not? Yes,” Fr. Boller says, going on to have parishioners condemn white supremacy.

He goes on:

“Do you support racial equity, justice and liberation for every person. Yes. Do you affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person? Yes.”

BLM Leader Threatens To ‘Rip’ Trump From White House, Calls For Revolution (Video)

On Friday, an individual identified as John Sullivan, reportedly a Black Lives Matter leader from Salt Lake City, Utah appeared at a BLM rally in Washington, D.C., and was caught on video advocating revolution while threatening to “rip” the president from the White House.

“We gotta f**kin’ rip Trump outta that office right over there, f**kin’ pull him out that s**t,” he said in a speech heavily laden with f-bombs and other profanity.

“We ain’t about f**kin’ waitin’ for the next election, we about to go get that m*****f****r,” he added.  “I’m about that s**t.”  Somehow, we doubt the Secret Service would let that happen.

He then led the crowd in a chant of, “It’s time for revolution.”

Ben Shapiro: The Riots Aren't Designed To Fix Racism; They're Designed To Attain Power

In June 2019, Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris of California tore into former Vice President Joe Biden in a Democratic primary debate.

She openly suggested that he was a racist whose past political activity would have kept a “little girl” like her from attending integrated public school.

About a year later, Biden selected Harris for his vice-presidential candidate. It followed naturally that some intrepid reporter might ask Harris about why she had joined forces with such a historic bigot.

So far, Harris has been asked that question twice. Stephen Colbert asked, obviously assuming that she had prepared an answer. She hadn’t.

Instead, Harris broke into her now-famous awkward Joker cackle, saying with a laugh, “It was a debate!”

Colbert quickly tried to laugh with her to alleviate the extraordinary tension — and to back away from the unforced revelation that Harris is simply a political hack willing to leverage charges of racism for career gain.

Now, political observers might figure that such a terrifying brush with unmasking might prompt Harris to think through the question. She still hasn’t. Over the weekend, ABC News’ Robin Roberts asked Harris the same question.

And Harris’ answer was no better: “I think that that conversation is a distraction from what we need to accomplish right now and what we need to do.”

Harris again confirmed that her allegations of racism against Biden were merely a tool in her arsenal — a tool to be wielded when convenient and stored away for possible future use when not.

Unfortunately, Harris isn’t the only political figure who sees charges of racism as a convenient weapon, rather than as serious allegations requiring actual evidence.

Democratic politicians appear to have latched on to the simple joys of charging political opponents with racism at the drop of a hat.

According to The Associated Press, Democrats have taken, for example, to charging those who mispronounce Harris’ first name with racism — as though it is perfectly obvious that the emphasis in “Kamala” lies on the first syllable rather than the second.

And it’s not merely that Democrats now levy frivolous racism charges with ease. Democrats are willing to jump — without any evidence and to dire consequence — to the conclusion that any incident involving black Americans is rife with racism.

Thus, this week, when a black man named Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin, was shot by police officers and video leading up to the shooting was released, Democrats rushed to condemn the police, even while explicitly acknowledging that they didn’t have the facts.

Biden released a statement with staggering irresponsibility: He called for an “immediate, full and transparent investigation” but openly said that “the officers must be held accountable”; he claimed that America had woken up “yet again with grief and outrage that yet another black American is a victim of excessive force”; he called the shooting an “inflection point” and yet another symptom of “systemic racism.”

Again, Biden had no access to the facts. But that didn’t stop him from levying charges of racism.

It wasn’t just Biden. Democratic Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers — whose state investigative system will be handling the case — immediately announced, “While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

And so Kenosha burned. And the narrative has been set: The shooting was unjustified, and racist at that. No evidence has been presented; none need be.

And if the facts don’t match the accusations, the facts will be put aside. Harris herself has continued to push the absolute lie, for example, that Michael Brown was murdered in Ferguson, Missouri, an allegation firmly rebutted by former President Obama’s Department of Justice. Fealty to the narrative is the sole qualifier for power in Democratic circles.

Will any of this alleviate racism? Of course not. But it’s not designed to. It’s designed to achieve and attain power.

Schrage told Maria, “Halper was not that engaged up to the point he crossed paths with Page and Christopher Steele’s former MI6 boss Sir Richard Dearlove…”

Schrage said he was surprised that Stefan Halper was making over a half a million dollars for writing reports for the government.

Schrage said the key part, the real smoking gun in this is, “All these tentacles lead back to the “small group” including Stefan Halper in SpyGate, Christopher Steele at the center of Russiagate, Stefan Halper’s FBI handler. None of the Senate has subpoenaed or called these people to talk in four years. I think that is the real smoking gun. How are these people being protected?“

US-China Military Conflict Deemed "Highly Likely" To "Almost Certain" Over Next 3 Years

A top independent Australia-based think tank which regularly advises the Canberra government has produced a "risk assessment" studying the likelihood of America and China going to war. Involving defense experts around the world, the study was undertaken on the heels of the US sending two carrier strike groups to sail through the South China Sea in provocative "freedom of navigation" operations. 

Given that "normalization" with China — a longtime foreign policy emphasis which goes back to Nixon and Carter — appears to have gone out the window during this latter half of the Trump administration, there's lately been much forecasting on the potential for the US and China to stumble into war. While there's already for the past couple years been much ink spilled over the possibility of the US and China falling into the so-called Thucydides Trap, this latest assessment is among the most dire predictions to date in terms of conclusions reached. 

Top daily newspaper The Australian introduces that leaders in Canberra woefully underestimated the potential for significant regional conflict upon being warned over a decade ago.
