Here's what some mexicans in California think of our great country. Apparently they feel their country is either better than ours, or they want to take ours over by flooding it with illegals! This story came to me this morning via email:

You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times, nor on the lead story of the major news networks. The protestors at Montebello High School took the American flag off the school's flag pole and hung it upside down while putting up the Mexican flag over it. (*See pictures below*)

 

 
 
 
 
I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington . The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail.


Pass this along to every American citizen in your address books and to every representative in the state and federal government. If you choose to remain uninvolved, do not be amazed when you no longer have a nation to call your own nor anything you have worked for left since it will be 'redistributed' to the activists while you are so peacefully staying out of the 'fray'. Check history, it is full of nations/empires that disappeared when its citizens no longer held their core beliefs and values. One person CAN make a difference.

Remember Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) Dietary Supplement Bill, S. 3002? Many premature reports surfaced saying McCain had withdrawn support from his own bill after a public outcry against the bill, and that it was dead.


Reports now show that a supposed compromise has been reached between the dietary supplement industry and McCain. You really didn’t think the worst measures of the bill, or even the mildest measures of the bill, were going to go away, did you?

'Death Panels' Debate Returns To Congress: Congressman Building Support For Proposal

The House health care provision that Sarah Palin warned would lead to "death panels" never made it into the final bill, but its backers plan to resuscitate it.

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.), who shepherded the amendment through the Ways and Means Committee, is building House support for stand-alone passage of the legislation that would allow Medicare to reimburse health care providers for consulting with patients about end-of-life decisions.

Ohio Supreme Court rules on Ohio Health Care Freedom Amendment

Today the Ohio Supreme Court ruled on the writ of mandamus and overturned Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and Ballot Boards decision. The court ruled that the amendment contains one constitutional amendment and has ordered that it be certified as written.

COLUMBUS , Ohio — The Ohio Supreme Court has ruled that a proposed amendment by groups seeking to exclude the state from President Barack Obama's health care overhaul should appear as a single issue on the ballot.

The Thursday decision reverses a finding by the Ohio Ballot Board, which had split the issue proposed by the Ohio Liberty Council and others into two separate ballot measures.

The court says the board abused its discretion and disregarded state law and ordered it to certify the proposed amendment.

The Liberty Council tea party group wants voters to approve the Ohio constitutional amendment that would allow the state to opt out of the health care law signed in March.

If supporters get enough petition signatures, the issue would appear on the November ballot.

This means the tough task of gathering over 400,000 petition signatures begins. As I have stated before, this is a huge task but not impossible. It will take the help of all liberty minded Ohioans.

On Wednesday, a group filed papers to launch a referendum drive that could put the law on hold until 2012 if organizers wait until the last minute to turn in petition signatures needed to get the measure on the ballot.

Today’s Senate hearings, carried on CNBC, Bloomberg, and C-SPAN, represent the first major exposure of the American people to the scandalous frauds of the derivatives casino, including synthetic collateralized debt obligations (synthetic CDOs or CDO²). These are things most people have heard very little about. They begin to open up the shocking reality behind such shopworn euphemisms like “toxic assets,” “exotic instruments,” and “troubled assets.” Reactionaries in general and Republicans in particular have done everything possible to hide the role of derivatives, which must be considered the main cause of the financial panic of September 2008 which brought down Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and AIG, after felling Bear Stearns in March of the same year. The reactionary legend, repeated yesterday on the Senate floor by financier minion GOP Sen. Gregg of New Hampshire, is that the crisis was caused by poor people taking out subprime mortgages and then defaulting, bringing down the entire Anglo-American banking system and triggering the bailouts. Either that, or too much government spending was too blame.
