Well, it's happening again this election with the Black Panthers posting outside of The Board of Elections Building in Cuyahoga County, in nCleveland Ohio.

In 2008, there were two Black Panther Party members posted outside of the polling station at 12th and Fairmount in North Philadelphia - one brandishing a large nightstick, which intimidated many would-be voters going there to vote then.





Here is a photo of The Panther Party back again to intimidate in 2012- this time without the nightstick....

With Obama's last 4 years of non-achievements and Phony Noble Prize nomination, this is certainly the only way (along with voter tampering) that he has a chance to win.

PHILLY ACTIVIST GROUP SHREDS GOP VOTER REGISTRATIONS

The Community Voters Project is a "non-partisan" lefty organization whose mission is to register people to vote, with a particular emphasis on minorities. In the 2008 election, they had offices in 10 states and registered around 300,000 minority voters. So far, so good. This year, however, it seems they aren't registering everyone who wants to vote. Outside a CVP office in Philadelphia, for example, they shredded and threw away numerous registration forms. A number of these were for people trying to register as a Republican. 

A citizen-journalist came across a large bag of trash outside the CVP office in Philadelphia. Glancing at it, the citizen saw what looked like shredded registration forms. The pictures in this post are from CVP's trash. The photo above clearly shows that the voter who submitted the shredded registration form was registering as a Republican. 

You're right if you think this sounds a lot like ACORN and its litany of problems with voter fraud. CVP used to work along side ACORN, and several of its employees have worked for both organizations. CVP has also had significant problems with fraud. Several of its employees were indicted in 2008 for voter registration fraud. (See here, here and here, for example.) 

Groups like CVP applaud themselves for ensuring that any eligible citizen is able to register and vote. If their efforts, because of where they focus their attention, result in registering more voters who are likely to vote Democrat, there's nothing wrong with that. If a person is eligible, they should register and be encouraged to vote. But, if they come across someone who wants to register as a Republican, can they not shred the registration form? See, with groups like CVP, it isn't really about extending the voting franchise. Its about electing Democrats. 

The picture below will give you a sense of the scale of CVP's fraud. Now that Pennsylvania has come into its own as a Battleground state, more attention needs to be paid to CVP and its efforts in Philadelphia. And it looks like CVP will come out of another election facing indictments and possible criminal proceedings.

Baltimore announces city-wide surveillance roll out that records passenger conversations on city buses

The surveillance society continues to grow unabated, as the city of Baltimore becomes the latest governmental entity to trample civil rights in the name of “public safety.”

According to the Baltimore Sun, city officials have now authorized the recording of private conversations on public buses “to investigate crimes, accidents and poor customer service.”

Marked with signs to alert passengers that open mics are picking up every word they say, the first 10 buses with the new surveillance equipment began operation towards the end of October. Eventually, officials say they will expand the program to 340 buses, or about half the fleet, by next summer.

‘We want to make people feel safe…’

The paper said the audio surveillance will be incorporated into the video surveillance systems already on board the buses (no plausible explanations on how an audio capability is supposed to enhance video surveillance, either).

“We want to make sure people feel safe, and this builds up our arsenal of tools to keep our patrons safe,” said Ralign Wells, the Maryland Transit Administration chief. “The audio completes the information package for investigators and responders.”

At this point, it’s appropriate to remind readers that “public safety” is the excuse of choice for authoritarians who no longer feel constrained by the Constitution. But then, why would they, considering they are being enabled by a federal court system that, time and again, upholds such blatant violations as “reasonable?” The MTA said it first checked with the state Attorney General’s office on the legality of adding audio surveillance; the AG’s office said it was, based on a 2000 appeals court decision, in which a panel ruled such surveillance did not violate state wiretapping laws (no word on how public eavesdropping applies to a law regulating wiretapping, but the use of tortured logic to implement unconstitutional measures is not a new tactic to authoritarians).

Russian attack sub detected near East Coast

A Russian nuclear-powered attack submarine cruised within 200 miles of the East Coast recently in the latest sign Russia is continuing to flex its naval and aerial power against the United States, defense officials said.

The submarine was identified by its NATO designation as a Russian Seirra-2 class submarine believed to be based with Russia’s Northern Fleet. It was the first time that class of Russian submarine had been detected near a U.S. coast, said officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of anti-submarine warfare efforts.

One defense official said the submarine was believed to have been conducting anti-submarine warfare efforts against U.S. ballistic and cruise missile submarines based at Kings Bay, Georgia.

A second official said the submarine did not sail close to Kings Bay and also did not threaten a U.S. aircraft carrier strike group that was conducting exercises in the eastern Atlantic.

Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, north of Jacksonville, Fla., is homeport for two guided missile submarines and six nuclear missile submarines. The submarines are known to be a target of Russian attack submarines.

NATE SILVER: Obama’s Odds Of Winning Have Now Hit 85%

With two days to go, Obama’s odds of winning re-election have reached their highest level ever, according to New York Times polling guru Nate Silver.

Betting markets Intrade and Betfair also show the President maintaining a solid lead, though with much less conviction.

These assessments come despite the continued release of some polls that look good for Romney. The difference between the national polls and the betting markets, some polling experts say, is that the national polls focus on the popular vote, whereas Silver’s odds focus on state-by-state polls aimed at determining the winner of the electoral college and, with it, the Presidency. Nate Silver’s model also averages hundreds of polls.

Nate Silver is so confident in his polling model that he publicly offered to bet MSNBC host Joe Scarborough who would win the election. Scarborough, who maintains that the election is a “toss-up,” has not accepted the challenge.

Let’s go to the data…

First, Nate Silver now gives Obama 85% chance of reelection. That’s up from a post-first-debate low of ~60% three weeks ago, and it’s higher than the 80% previous all-time peak Obama hit just before the first debate.

On Intrade, meanwhile, Obama’s odds are now at 63%, a drop of a few points from yesterday, back in a range in the low 60s where they’ve been for the last few weeks.

In short, in everything but some of the national polls, Obama has a strong lead heading into the last two days of the race.

MOTHER OF SEAL: 'I BELIEVE THAT OBAMA MURDERED MY SON'

A father and a mother used the word “murder.” A brother said he won’t second-guess decisions made in the heat of battle.

The families of three Americans killed in the Sept. 11 U.S. consulate attack in Benghazi, Libya, are offering widely different reactions to recent reports that U.S. personnel issued several requests for help that were turned down.

Patricia Smith, the mother of slain State Department employee Sean Patrick Smith, is now blaming President Barack Obama for her son’s death.

“I believe that Obama murdered my son,” she said Thursday from the living room of her Clairemont home. “I firmly believe this.”

Patricia Smith, who voted for Obama in 2008 at the insistence of her son, said reporting by Fox News is the basis for much of her belief that Obama is ultimately responsible for her son’s death. She said Sean, who went to Mission Bay High School but lived abroad, was a fervent supporter of the president.

Smith’s view echoes that of Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, the 41-year-old former Navy SEAL from Imperial Beach who died fighting in Benghazi.

Charles Woods appeared on Fox News shows over the weekend to denounce decisions made by U.S. officials during the Libya attack.

“I’m a retired attorney, and I know that these actions legally do not constitute murder. But in my mind the people in the White House, all of them who have authority to send in reinforcements to prevent what they knew was going to be the death of my son, are guilty of murdering my son,” Woods said Sunday on Fox’s Sean Hannity show.
