Globalist Insiders Push Iran Attack

The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) will formally call today for the United States to demonstrate its willingness to stop Iran’s unsubstantiated nuclear weapons program.

The BPC would like to see the United States deploy ships, step up covert activities and “sharpen its rhetoric to make more credible the threat of a U.S. military strike to stop Iran’s nuclear program,” writes Arshaf Mohammed for Militaryfeed.com, a U.S. military news web portal.

The BPC pronouncement arrives a day after intelligence boss James Clapper warned that Iran may launch attacks inside the United States.

The BPC is a non-profit organization that was established in 2007 by former Senate Majority Leaders Howard Baker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole and George Mitchell. Its advisory board is dominated by JP Morgan, Locheed Martin and the Aspen Institute. The Aspen Institute is funded by the Carnegie Corporation, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Ford Foundation.

“The United States needs to make clear that Iran faces a choice: it can either abandon its nuclear program through a negotiated arrangement or have its program destroyed militarily by the United States or Israel,” the BPC report states.

The report suggests “strengthening” the United States “declaratory policy” to make clear the willingness to use force, stepping up covert activities in Iran (apparently including the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists and other terrorist acts), adding an additional carrier battle group to the Fifth Fleet in the Gulf, and increasing arm sales to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and the United Arab Emirates.

If the steps do not stop Iran’s nuclear program, the BPC insiders suggest a “quarantine” to block refined petroleum imports by Iran.

As a last resort, the group asserts that the U.S. military has the ability to launch “an effective surgical strike against Iran’s nuclear program,” Militaryfeed.com reports.

The insiders and the neocon faction are using the latest intelligence report on Iran as a catalyst to call for attacks.

On Tuesday, former IRS lawyer, now chief counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), Jay Sekulow called for action on the supposed Iranian threat outlined by Clapper and CIA director David Petraeus.

The ACLJ was founded in 1990 by the Christian Zionist globalist Pat Robertson.

Sekulow is connected to the United Nations and the Council of Europe through the European Center for Law and Justice, an organization that cooperates with the European Union.

Mossad chief Tamir Pardo held secret talks with top U.S. officials in recent days, cursory comments made during a public Senate hearing indicated on Tuesday.

The clandestine Washington visit was exposed during a hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which was participated by CIA Director David Petraeus, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, and Dianne Feinstein, who chairs the Senate panel.

During the meeting, Feinstein asked Clapper whether or not Israel intended to strike Iran's nuclear facilities, with the top U.S. intelligence official answering that he would rather discuss the issue behind closed doors.

Feinstein then indicated that she had met Mossad chief Pardo earlier in the week in Washington, with Petraeus adding that he too met Pardo and cited what he called Israel's growing concern over Iran's nuclear ambitions.

The CIA chief also said that it was important to note that Israel considered a nuclear Iran as an existential threat.

The entire exchange was broadcasted live on American television.

Referring to the Iran's nuclear progress, Clapper told the Senate panel that "Iran's technical advancement, particularly in uranium enrichment, strengthens our assessment that Iran has the scientific, technical, and industrial capacity to eventually produce nuclear weapons, making the central issue its political will to do so."

Moscow - The United States intelligence community has received broader and more specific objectives for countering threats to American national security and interests.

Major strategic goals for all 16 American intelligence agencies have been set forth in a new four-year National Intelligence Strategy (NIS), which has been submitted to Congress. This is the first blueprint of this kind during the Obama Administration. By tradition, it is drafted by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI).

The position of DNI was created in 2004. The DNI consults the president and a national security advisor on all intelligence issues, and coordinates the intelligence activities of the U.S. intelligence community, which includes the CIA, the FBI, the National Security Agency, the main intelligence departments of the Navy and Army, the intelligence agencies of the Department of State and the Department of Energy, etc.

The NIS offers general guidance to all American intelligence agencies, which are obliged to coordinate their specific objectives with it. By and large, the objectives of U.S. intelligence activities have changed little in the last eight years, since the fundamental revision of the current threats to national security in the wake of 9/11. 

They are to identify and suppress of extremists, paramilitary separatist units, and terrorist groups that are trying to gain access to nuclear weapons. Other objectives include controlling the nuclear threats from Iran and North Korea, stopping the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, uncovering potential crises, etc.

Speaking to journalists in San Francisco on September 16, Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair mentioned a number of "new concerns" reflected in the NIS, including the global economic crisis, a potential global pandemic (like avian or swine flu), and climate change leading to nations competing over energy and water resources.

Blair did not mention all of the new concerns. The report also raises concern about China's aggressive pursuit of natural resources around the world and its efforts to modernize its military, and states that Russia may also try to reassert itself as a regional or global power. Both countries are mentioned as potential threats to the United States in cyberspace.

Blair seems to be ready to shake up the entire U.S. intelligence community in response to its obviously inadequate response to threats to the United States. To understand his motives, we should recall who he is. Sixty-two-year-old Dennis Cutler Blair is a retired admiral, the third DNI, and a one-hundred-percent American tough guy. He is a sixth-generation naval officer. In his thirty-four-year naval career, he commanded frigates, missile destroyers, and the Kitty Hawk Battle Group aircraft carrier. His last strictly naval position was the commander-in-chief of U.S. Pacific Command. He then served on the Joint Chiefs of Staff and as Associate Director of Central Intelligence for Military Support.

Massive U.S. Military Buildup Reported Around Iran; Up to 100,000 Troops Ready By March

While President Obama’s supporters hailed his withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq as the end of the war in the middle east, behind the scenes the Pentagon has been quietly massing troops and armaments on two islands located just south of the Strait of Hormuz, and within easy striking distance of Iran.
In addition to some 50,000 U.S. troops currently in the region waiting for orders (apparently they won’t be home by this past Christmas as was originally promised), Nobel Peace Prize winner President Barack Obama is deploying an additional 50,000 soldiers to be ready for ‘any contingency’ by March:

President Barack Obama is reported exclusively by DEBKA-Net-Weekly’s military and Washington sources to have secretly ordered US air, naval and marine forces to build up heavy concentrations on two strategic islands –Socotra, which is part of a Yemeni archipelago in the Indian Ocean, and the Omani island of Masirah at the southern exit of the Strait of Hormuz.
Since 2010, the US has been quietly building giant air force and naval bases on Socotra with facilities for submarines, intelligence command centers and take-off pads for flying stealth drones, as part of a linked chain of strategic US military facilities in the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.
The Socotra facilities are so secret that they are never mentioned in any catalogue listing US military facilities in this part of the world, which include Jebel Ali and Al Dahfra in the United Arab Emirates; Arifjan in Kuwait; and Al Udeid in Qatar – all within short flying distances from Iran.
Additional US forces are also being poured into Camp Justice on the barren, 70-kilometer long Omani island of Masirah, just south of the Hormuz entry point to the Gulf of Oman from the Arabian Sea.

Western military sources familiar with the American buildup on the two strategic islands tell DEBKA-Net-Weekly that, although they cannot cite precise figures, they are witnessing the heaviest American concentration of might in the region since the US invaded Iraq in 2003.
Then, 100,000 American troops were massed in Kuwait ahead of the invasion. Today, those sources estimate from the current pace of arrivals on the two island bases, that 50,000 US troops will have accumulated on Socotra and Masirah by mid-February. They will top up the 50,000 military already present in the Persian Gulf region, so that in less than a month, Washington will have some 100,000 military personnel on the spot and available for any contingency.

The Establishment GOP Conspiracy to Oust Ron Paul

The Saying "Ron Paul is not electable", so often repeated by the Lame-stream media and among the GOP, is starting to lose ground as the constitutional Congressman of Texas gains momentum along the campaign trail. However, is there a GOP plot to derail Ron Paul from the campaign trail, and oust him from the Republican party?

In an RT News interview, Julie Borowski, a Ron Paul supporter explains the reasons Ron Paul is so popular among the younger generation of voters, and a real thorn in the side of the GOP establishment party.




When asked why it is that the oldest running candidate's message resonates so well among younger people, Julie replied:

"Yeah, it is kind of strange to see a 76 year old man very conservative, very religious, get so much support from young people. And I think one of the reasons is because Ron Paul tells it like it is. He doesn't sugar-coat things. He has a consistent record. He's gonna do what he says. In his plan to restore America, he wants to cut $1 trillion dollars in the first year alone. He's talking about big ideas, and the other candidates are not."

 According to RT News, there seems to be a threatening force among GOP Republicans to push Ron Paul out of the campaign, and from the Republican party. The fear by the GOP that Ron Paul may actually win has pushed them to send out a petition calling for Ron Paul to drop out of the campaign, and to leave the GOP.

The Petition states in part:

We have had enough of the stupid demands of the those who support Ron Paul for President. The time has come for true Conservatives to Rise Up and Take a Stand!
It is our Duty to Defend the Integrity of the GOP! These radical leftists that back Ron Paul will not get away with demanding the GOP nominate Ron Paul or else!
Therefore, the REAL Conservatives of the Republican Party hereby DEMAND that Ron Paul END his Presidential Campaign at once, and Exit the GOP along with his radical cult followers/supporters!

In the petition, threats were also aimed at Senator Rand Paul, promising to replace him with a true Republican as well. It is apparent that the type of Republican would then have to be one more in line with the status quo.

When asked if this type of threatening language would work against Ron and his supporters, Julie said:

"No, what is going on right now is there is an ugly fight between establishment Republicans and true conservatives. Ron Paul is a threat to the establishment. He is dangerous to the status quo. And they don't want to have a debate over one policy, and so what they're doing is they're trying to marginalize Ron Paul and his supporters, calling us racists, anti-Semitic. Calling us Leftists - basically name calling with no facts to back it up."

RT points out in the interview that one of the complaints being brought against Ron Paul is that he is pulling votes away from the other candidates. (Isn't that the goal of each candidate?- to pull enough votes away from the other candidates in order to win?)

While there are those on the establishment side hurling threats, there is also another strategy being proposed by republican supporters like former CEO of GE, Jack Welch, who simply want to drive Ron Paul out in a very gentle way, so as not to offend his supporters in hopes that they will then turn to whichever Rino Republican is left to finish the race.

Mr Welch had this to say in a news clip aired on RT:

" Ron Paul is going to leave exit-left on this stage sometime down the road before August, or in August, and their GOP doesn't want to lose those wonderful voters that he's brought on board, so how well they treat Ron Paul going forward is a very big deal." (or big F'n deal if you're Biden)

Julie Borowski states how for years the GOP has tried to gain the support of younger voters, and now that Ron Paul has started a fire in the hearts of younger voters to join the Republican party, the establishment Republicans are now marginalizing them and resorting to name calling. She said " That strategy is probably the dumbest thing I can think of."

While Obama brought in many young voters in 2008 with his "Yes We Can" rhetoric, it is Ron Paul with his "message of freedom" that will win the hearts of the younger generation in 2012!

In politics, the timing is often the message. On Jan. 20 — three days before the annual March for Life — the Obama administration announced its final decision that Catholic universities, hospitals and charities will be compelled to pay for health insurance that covers sterilization, contraceptives and abortifacients.

Preparing for the march, Catholic students gathered for Mass at Verizon Center. The faithful held vigil at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Knights of Columbus and bishops arrived to trudge in the cold along the Mall. All came to Washington in time for their mocking.

Catholic leaders are still trying to process the implications of this ambush. The president had every opportunity to back down from confrontation. In the recent ­Hosanna-Tabor ruling, a unanimous Supreme Court reaffirmed a broad religious autonomy right rooted in the Constitution. Obama could have taken the decision as justification for retreat.

And it would have been a minor retreat. The administration was on the verge of mandating nearly universal contraceptive coverage through Obamacare without public notice. There would have been no controversy at all if President Obama had simply exempted religious institutions and ministries. But the administration insisted that the University of Notre Dame and St. Mary’s Hospital be forced to pay for the privilege of violating their convictions.
