“There Were a Lot of Republicans Involved” – Steven Schrage – The Man Who Introduced Deep State Spy Stefan Halper to Carter Page Holds First Interview (VIDEO)

 Gateway Pundit

August 10, 2020

Steven Schrage joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this morning.

Schrage worked with FBI spy Stefan Halper for years.
Steven introduced Stefan Halper to Carter Page back in 2016 while Halper was spying on the Trump campaign.

On Sunday he spoke with Maria Bartiromo in his first interview.

Schrage told Maria, “Halper was not that engaged up to the point he crossed paths with Page and Christopher Steele’s former MI6 boss Sir Richard Dearlove…”

Schrage said he was surprised that Stefan Halper was making over a half a million dollars for writing reports for the government.

Schrage said the key part, the real smoking gun in this is, “All these tentacles lead back to the “small group” including Stefan Halper in SpyGate, Christopher Steele at the center of Russiagate, Stefan Halper’s FBI handler. None of the Senate has subpoenaed or called these people to talk in four years. I think that is the real smoking gun. How are these people being protected?“

Sonnie Johnson: Trump Speech Laid Out ‘What Democrats Have Done to the Black Community Over the Last Sixty Years’

Breitbart
August 17, 2016

On Wednesday’s edition of Breitbart News Daily, podcaster Sonnie Johnsonsaid she was “yelling and screaming” during Donald Trump’s speech in Wisconsin on Tuesday night, because “it felt like a speech that I could have written, that I would have given, that I’ve given so many times, in front of so many audiences.”

Johnson said Trump’s speech targeted what “Democrats have done to the black community over the last sixty years,” and laid things out more plainly, and boldly, than previous Republicans have dared to attempt.

“To have it laid out, to have it addressed, to not have it skirted over, to not have it bathed in welfare talk, and poverty talk, but actually to have it, to inspire black people that America is your country, and you deserve to have the greatness and richness thereof in it – I was over the moon last night! Congratulations, Donald Trump! Thank you!” she declared.
SiriusXM host Matt Boyle pointed out that polls show Trump faring very poorly with black voters, but Johnson was confident his speech in Wisconsin would help him turn those numbers around, and even meet his goal of drawing a larger percentage of the black vote than previous GOP candidates.
“The emphasis is on the American people, and for once, you have a Republican candidate that went above and beyond to make sure that black people feel like they are included in that America,” she said. “You don’t have to convince black people that having money is better than being poor. You don’t have to convince them of that. All you have to do is inspire them, and they will do the rest.”
“And that is what Hillary needs to be scared to death of,” she continued. “You have a generation of young blacks that are inspired to take over the world, and now we have a Republican candidate that’s saying, not only will I be your voice, not only will I stand with you, but I will win. And that is something that the black community has not had, since they have let these progressives be in control of our cities. Just the thought of having a real fight in the inner cities of America, with a Republican candidate that gives a damn — Hillary Clinton better be shakin’ in her boots!”
Johnson predicted that while Trump certainly enjoys enormous name recognition on a cultural level, his Wisconsin campaign stop would mark the beginning of black voters “getting to know him on an intellectual level.” She also thought Trump’s confidence, boldness, and even his ostentatious wealth would be seen as inspirational, the trappings of a success he invited voters from every demographic background to aspire to.
“We don’t want to be living in ghettos. We don’t want to fall asleep to the sound of gunshots,” Johnson said. “We don’t want poverty. We don’t want destruction. We wantwealth, and we are in the greatest country, in America, and we deserve it, because we are part of that fabric. That came through flawlessly last night, through Donald Trump’s speech.”
“There is a strength in us that is waiting to be unleashed, and we have an opportunity to fill the vacuum,” she said of black Americans. “And for the first time, I feel like we have a Republican candidate that can go in and suck some of that progressive oxygen out, and actually give us a chance to implant some conservative principles.”
Johnson did not think highly of Hillary Clinton’s attitude toward the community she saw Trump so effectively engaging.
“Hillary hates black people,” she stated. “Every single angle, from her being a Woodrow Wilson progressive – which, if you go back and search the history of Woodrow Wilson, how racist she was, and she calls herself a Woodrow Wilson-era progressive. If you go through her love of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood, which has killed millions, upon millions, upon millions of black babies in this country, and she adores Margaret Sanger, and thinks she’s done excellent work.”
“If you go the poverty programs, if you go through the ‘super predators,’ they need to be brought down to heel – you could go through Hillary Clinton’s entire history, and see there is nothing but hate and contempt for black people. Especially even in this last primary, when she called them her ‘security blanket,’ so that when she came to the South, she wouldn’t be beat, she could count on the stupid black people to be there to vote for her,” Johnson continued.
“We are no longer stupid, we are no longer solid. You can’t keep us solid. And we will make sure everybody knows your history, and we will make sure that we are an alternative like you have never seen before,” she declared.
A caller posited that Trump’s speech, and Johnson’s enthusiasm, might not be enough to overcome the social effects of widespread dependency on government programs.
“I’ve always said there was a certain percentage of the population that were perfectly fit to be Democrats,” Johnson responded. “But what I think is being misconstrued is that there’s a smaller part of that portion than what you think it is.The majority of black people don’t want anything free. We just want to get — how do I say it? — the boot off the necks of our communities. Because you’ve had progressives running our communities who pushed the taxation, who pushed up regulations, who increased the laws so police are so present in our community.”
“There are things that have been done by government that put these communities in the position in which they have been put in, and if you believe that progressivism is a disease, than that is something that you should not be denying. There will be a percentage that won’t come our way, and that’s fine,” she said.
Johnson stressed her point about the importance of cultural influence, and how inspirational messages had to be delivered outside the conventional political channels most previous Republican politicians have used:
Let me tell you about Jay-Z: when you ask, does he inspire? How do you think I became a conservative? I didn’t listen to Rush Limbaugh. I wasn’t listening to Sean Hannity. I wasn’t listening to any of these conservative icons. I was listening to Jay-Z, hearing about putting in the work ethic, hearing about putting in the struggle, hearing about educating yourself, hearing about hustling hard to get where you want.
That is where I learned conservatism. That is where I learned capitalism. And you can say that out of all the entities in America, hip-hop has been the one that has kept the idea of making money at the forefront of American culture. No other cultural entity has done that. Everything about hip-hop is about the grind, it’s about the hustle, it is about the work to get where you want.
Just because you listen to a certain segment that only preaches drugs, or violence — that’s not the totality of hip-hop. There is a lot of hip-hop that inspires people like me to get up, get out, and do something. That is the message that needs to be spread, instead of assuming that what the progressives have put out about the black community is true.
Breitbart News Daily airs on SiriusXM Patriot 125 weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Eastern.

The War on Terror is the Private War of Bush and Obama

lewrockwell.com
December 4, 2013

The war on terror is an unbelievably huge waste of money. That is documented in this web site that seeks to quiet irrational fears and place in perspective the money spent by governments led by Bush and Obama versus the benefits gotten by the American public.
This site writes in its conclusion
“By invoking terrorism, the government has justified wholesale invasions of other countries, a massive stripping away of our basic liberties, and shifting money to military contractors and away from things that threaten human life on a huge scale.”
What this means is that Bush created and Obama continued a war for their own purposes, which are those of the State they lead. And those purposes are not those of the American public. We Americans do not benefit from expensive invasions of other countries. Indeed, if anything, they incite retaliations against Americans. We do not benefit from losing liberties and living in a police state. We do not benefit from wasting money on the military when we could be spending it on goods that really matter to us.
This is why we can say that the war on terror is a private war of Bush and Obama, or a private war of the State, and not a war of the American public fought to defend itself against terrorism. Americans have paid for the war. They have been told time and again that it is a war being waged for them, but the facts strongly contradict this. If it is true that the U.S. government has made the war on terror for our benefit, then the stupidity and ineptness of the war itself and the management of this war have to be understood. The fact that the costs of the war on terror vastly exceed its benefits is the strongest possible evidence that Bush and Obama did not act in the interests of the American public.
If the war on terror has not been for the interests of American citizens, then how explain it? Who would spend trillions and sacrifice thousands of American lives, not to mention the lives of foreigners, who would destabilize whole countries and huge regions for the sake of saving a trivial number of American lives? Bush and Obama would and they did. It is perfectly conceivable that Bush and Obama would do this for their own private reasons and motivations. It is perfectly conceivable that they could do this because of their power and because they do not bear any of these costs personally.
One can look deeper into these men and their positions in an attempt to find their motivations and thinking. If they thought the war on terror was worth it, they could not have been more wrong. Presidents are not immune to personal vendettas, as against Saddam Hussein. They are not immune to monumental error. They almost invariably support the State, no matter what the costs. They almost invariably over-estimate their power and that of the State. They always are mere mortals whose ignorance in the face of immense complexities is huge. Their power combined with their ignorance makes big errors highly probable. Wanting to exercise power goes with the turf of wanting to be president, becoming president and being president. In defending Obamacare, Obama has just said “If you’ve got good ideas, bring them to me.” He sees himself as the health care executive, when really he is the health care enforcer. He believes that if only all ideas are filtered through his mind for his decision, then the results will be rational and beneficial.
Americans who vote and elect their officials then begin to think that the acts of these officials are also their acts, or that these acts are of the people, for the people and by the people, or that these acts are public acts. Even government officials may believe this. They surely repeat it often enough in order to generate support, but their acts are not driven by public interests. The acts of government officials are their own. They are privately motivated, even if publicly financed. The war on terror has been privately motivated. It is a private war in that sense, like a war fought by some king of old in order to extend his dominion.

Entitlements Are Another Form of Slavery

Appearing in the award-winning documentary, "Runaway Slave," is Dr. Timothy Johnson, the founder of the Frederick Douglass Foundation based in Washington D.C. In November of 2008, after being frustrated with the election of Obama, Dr. Tim had a dream, a calling. "I got tired of hearing there were no black Republicans." The Frederick Douglass Foundation is pro-life, pro-traditional marriage; it is "the largest Christ-centered, multi-ethnic and Republican ministry." Dr. Tim explains that Martin Luther King was a Republican, as is Alveda King, as was Frederick Douglass, and the Republican Party was formed to defeat slavery, and ensure equality for all Americans; but because of "one or two things the Democrats have given blacks politically", and the lie the Democrat Party and the media have perpetuated - "the entitlement game," "the government owes me something," to keep blacks voting for them, many blacks vote Democrat and many have become generationally enslaved to the government. How do you explain this to people who are in the habit of getting free stuff? Education. Frederick Douglass was an educator. He was born a slave, and was then taught to read by his slave master's wife, with the Bible. He was married 40 years, went to England, was a speaker, a lay preacher, and great leader in the abolitionist movement. Go to http://www.tfdf.org for more information. As C.L. Bryant says, "Run away from socialism, run away from progressivism, run!"

The Message From Both Parties Is That Americans Are Disposable

Paul Craig RobertsInfowars.com
Sept 7, 2012
If political conventions are ranked on a one to ten scale for intelligence, I give the Republican Convention zero and the Democrats one.

How can the United States be a superpower when both political parties are unaware of everything that is happening at home and abroad?
The Republicans are relying for victory on four years of anti-Obama propaganda and their propriety programed electronic voting machines. For nearly four years Republican operatives have flooded the Internet with portraits of Obama as a non-US citizen, as a Muslim (even while Obama was murdering Muslims in seven countries), and as a Marxist (put in power by the Israel Lobby, Wall Street, and the military/security complex).
Most Republican voters will vote against Obama based on these charges despite the curious fact that no committee in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives held a hearing to determine if Obama is a citizen. If Obama were not a citizen, why would the very aggressive House Republicans not capitalize on it. It would be easy for a Congressional committee to determine if Obama were a citizen. Despite the propaganda, the Republicans in office have shown no interest in the propaganda charges spread by Republican operatives over the Internet.
Either Republicans have no confidence in the charges and do not want to end up proving with Congressional hearings that Obama is a citizen, or the Republicans, having destroyed every other aspect of the US Constitution, reducing it to “a scrap of paper,” feel that making an issue of the last remaining Constitutional provision other than the Second Amendment would be the height of hypocrisy and don’t want to risk opening the constitutional issues that Republicans have run roughshod over.
If the Republicans can destroy habeas corpus, due process, violate both US statutory and international law, ignore the separation of powers, and create a Caesar, why can’t the Democrats run a non-citizen?
Why didn’t the Republican convention raise the issue about the Obama regime’s claim that the executive branch has the power to assassinate US citizens without due process of law? No such power exists in the US Constitution or in US statutory law. This gestapo police state claim exists only as an assertion. Republicans ignored this most important of all issues, because they support it.

GOP Suing to Keep Third Parties Off Ballot in November

GOP Suing to Keep Third Parties Off Ballot in November
Around the country, the Republican Party is mounting legal challenges to keep third-party candidates off the ballot in November.
Writer Karl Dickey reports in the Examiner that “in recent weeks, with the full support and legal assistance of the Republican Party, [Gary] Johnson's ballot status has been challenged in Michigan, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, Iowa and now Ohio." Gary Johnson (pictured) is the former governor of New Mexico and the Libertarian Party’s candidate for president of the United States. As of this writing, Johnson is on the ballot in 43 states.
On September 1 the Ohio voters challenging Johnson’s appearance on the November ballot officially withdrew their opposition. In the one-page notice filed with the office of Ohio’s secretary of state, Kelly Mills and Cynthia Rees did not explain their decision to drop their protest.
It could be related to the decision of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals decision handed down on August 31 dismissing the Ohio state legislature’s appeal of a U.S. district court ruling putting the Libertarian Party on the ballot for 2012.
The national Republican Party may not want to publicly acknowledge the presence of a true fiscal conservative in this race, but they are certainly taking Gov. Johnson seriously enough to engage in a concerted campaign to get his name off ballots in key states before voters even get a chance to vote.
In states across the nation, Republican operatives, lawyers, and in some cases, elected officials, are filing frivolous challenges to Governor Johnson's ballot status. They know that even if their challenges fail, fending them off is a drain on our resources and a distraction from the real issues in this campaign. We don't have hundreds of millions of dollars to throw around, nor do we have the Republicans' endless supply of lawyers.
We have dealt with many challenges in this campaign from the major parties, who clearly don't want voters to have a viable third option in this election, but this attack on voting rights and democracy is over the top.
Governor Johnson has made it clear that we will fight every one of these challenges and do everything in our power to be on the ballot in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The prospect of a successful two-term governor who is a proven fiscal conservative and champion of social tolerance may be a thorn in the sides of the two so-called major parties, but Governor Johnson will not be deterred in his effort to give voters a real choice in November.
Despite the frustration such legal wrangling must cause the Johnson campaign, they were likely pleased by the decision announced late last week to allow Johnson’s name to appear on the ballot in Iowa.
Two Iowa voters had challenged his candidacy last week and Jay Kramer, a Romney campaign staffer, signed as a witness the challenge that Libertarians' convention at the Iowa State Fair wasn't real.
Republican Secretary of State Matt Schultz, Democratic Attorney General Tom Miller, and Warren Jenkins, the chief deputy for Republican Auditor David Vaudt, said Iowa's law on holding conventions to get on the ballot is vague and they opted to err on the side of open ballot access, the AP reported.
Johnson reportedly told the Washington Times that he will be the only third-party candidate whose name will appear on the ballot in all 50 states.
Remarkably, this may be the case.

America is a Constitutional Republic . . . NOT a Democracy

March 4, 2012
Daneen G. Peterson, Ph.D.

How often have you heard people refer to America as a Democracy? When was the last time that you heard America referred to as a Republic, or better yet . . . a Constitutional Republic?

There is a very good reason that our Pledge of Allegiance refers to our country as a Republic, and there is a very good reason that our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution do not even mentioned the word "democracy".

Many people are under the false impression our form of government is a democracy, or representative democracy. This is of course completely untrue. The Founders were extremely knowledgeable about the issue of democracy and feared a democracy as much as a monarchy. They understood that the only entity that can take away the people's freedom is their own government, either by being too weak to protect them from external threats or by becoming too powerful and taking over every aspect of life. Isn't that where we are today?

They knew very well the meaning of the word "democracy", and the history of democracies; and they were deliberately doing everything in their power to prevent having a democracy.

In a Republic, the sovereignty resides with the people themselves. In a Republic, one may act on his own or through his representatives when he chooses to solve a problem. The people have no obligation to the government; instead, the government is a servant of the people, and obliged to its owner -- We the People. Many politicians have lost sight of that fact.

Texas parties waging internal fights before battling in 2010

By Anna M. Tinsley

Fort Worth Star-Telegram

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Republicans and Democrats have their prey in sight as they target races to contest in the 2010 elections.
But for now, the focus of many is not on members of the other party.
It’s on officeholders within their own party — whether Republican or Democrat — who they say have strayed from the party base on hot-button issues, raising questions about their loyalties.

"Both parties in the last 25 to 30 years included liberals, moderates and conservatives," said Jim Riddlesperger, a political science professor at Texas Christian University. "But both are moving away from the diversity. Members of the party who don’t fit the stereotypes are being driven out.
"This is creating conflict for conflict’s sake. It’s a result of moving toward ideological purity in both parties."

For the GOP, this search for political purity is about weeding out "Republicans In Name Only," or RINOs, in next year’s primary. For Democrats, it’s about driving out party members who don’t support the healthcare overhaul legislation in Congress.
One example is the Texas governor’s race; some say the GOP primary, pitting conservative Gov. Rick Perry and moderate U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, will be a bellwether indicating how "pure" Texas Republicans want their governor to be.
But the purity battles stretch from Congress to the state legislature to local offices.

U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco — a moderate who has held his House seat for years, despite a Republican-led redrawing of his district — may be targeted by his own party because he didn’t support the healthcare overhaul.
