BREAKING: Texas and California Militia Unite to Defend the Border

July 6, 2014

The lack of action on border security from the Obama administration has prompted a wide variety of responses. State officials close to the situation in Texas and Arizonahave called for federal assistance but have received little response, leaving them to do what they can with their own resources.
Civilian protestors have coordinated to challenge thetransportation of illegal immigrants throughout the country by Department of Homeland Security agents. Other civilians, organized into militia groups, have moved troops to Arizona and Texas to assist in closing a border that the federal government seems content to leave open despite the growing violence.
Now California militia members have united with their comrades in Texas to support state efforts, challenge Obama’s apathy, and assist in securing the nation’s southern border.
From Fox News:
Free Republic founder Jim Robinson posted this on the popular conservative internet forum on Friday evening.
We have independent units from the Bolinas Border Patrol and the Central Valley Citizens militia joining forces with independent citizens militia units of Texas to defend our southern border in Texas, to protest Obama’s lawless open borders policies and to rally support for Governor Perry to officially call out Guard units and Texas militia units at his disposal to defend the border!! Lawsuits will not cut it. The invasion is happening now. Action must be taken NOW!!
Lawsuits have indeed been threatened, and more will no doubt come as this president and his administration continue to ignore their duty, trample on therights of Americans, and flout both the law and the Constitution.
Under the guise of humanitarianism, Obama is cynically using the hopes of tens of thousands of immigrants for his own personal gain, despite the dire consequences for them and for his own citizens.
Closing the border with civilian militia may not be the optimal manner in which to address the growing border crisis. But it certainly tops the alternative which, from the Washington Obamacrats, appears to be nothing.

Texas Attorney General to BLM "Come and Take It!"

Breitbart
April 22, 2014

After Breitbart Texas reported on the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) intent to seize 90,000 acres belonging to Texas landholders along the Texas/Oklahoma line, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott questioned the BLM’s authority to take such action.

“I am about ready,” General Abbott told Breitbart Texas, “to go to the Red River and raise a ‘Come and Take It’ flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas.”
Gen. Abbott sent a strongly-worded letter to BLM Director Neil Kornze, asking for answers to a series of questions related to the potential land grab.
“I am deeply concerned about the notion that the Bureau of Land Management believes the federal government has the authority to swoop in and take land that has been owned and cultivated by Texas landowners for generations,” General Abbott wrote. “The BLM’s newly asserted claims to land along the Red River threaten to upset long-settled private property rights and undermine fundamental principles—including the rule of law—that form the foundation of our democracy. Yet, the BLM has failed to disclose either its full intentions or the legal justification for its proposed actions. Decisions of this magnitude must not be made inside a bureaucratic black box.”
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas, General Abbott said, “This is the latest line of attack by the Obama Administration where it seems like they have a complete disregard for the rule of law in this country ...And now they’ve crossed the line quite literally by coming into the State of Texas and trying to claim Texas land as federal land. And, as the Attorney General of Texas I am not going to allow this.”

Citizens from 15 states have filed petitions to secede from the United States

Examiner
November 11, 2012

As of Saturday November 10, 2012, 15 States have petitioned the Obama Administration for withdrawal from the United States of America in order to create its own government.
States following this action include: Louisiana, Texas, Montana, North Dakota, Indiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Colorado, Oregon and New York. These States have requested that the Obama Administration grant a peaceful withdrawal from the United States.
These citizen generated petitions were filed just days after the 2012 presidential election.
Louisiana was the first State to file a petition a day after the election by a Michael E. from Slidell, Louisiana. Texas was the next State to follow by a Micah H. from Arlington, Texas.
The government allows one month from the day the petition is submitted to obtain 25,000 signatures in order for the Obama administration to consider the request.
The Texas petition reads as follows:
The US continues to suffer economic difficulties stemming from the federal government’s neglect to reform domestic and foreign spending. The citizens of the US suffer from blatant abuses of their rights such as the NDAA, the TSA, etc. Given that the state of Texas maintains a balanced budget and is the 15th largest economy in the world, it is practically feasible for Texas to withdraw from the union, and to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers which are no longer being reflected by the federal government.
As of 12:46 am, Sunday, signatures obtained by Louisiana, 7,358; Texas, 3,771; Florida, 636; Georgia, 475; Alabama, 834; North Carolina, 792; Kentucky, 467; Mississippi, 475; Indiana, 449; North Dakota, 162; Montana, 440; Colorado, 324; Oregon, 328; New Jersey, 301 and New York, 169. Many more States are expected to follow.
A petition is not searchable at whitehouse.gov until 150 signatures have been obtained. It is the originator's responsibility to obtain these signatures.
The Texas petition can be reviewed and/or signed by clicking here.

At least seven people are dead and at as many as 20 others have been wounded in a mass shooting at Ford Hood in Texas.
Two suspects were dressed in Army fatigues, Fox News reported. One is in custody and another is at large.
KCEN-TV in Waco reported a second suspect may be holed up in a building on the post.
It was unknown whether the victims are soldiers or civilians.
The Associated Press reported as many as 20 have been wounded.
The base, about 60 miles from Austin, and two nearby school districts are on lockdown.
At least one shooting took place at the fort's sports dome, known as the soldier readiness area, according to KXXV-TV in Waco.
Greg Schannep, an aide to U.S. Rep. John Carter, said he was on the Army post to attend a graduation service, the Austin American-Statesman newspaper reported. As he neared the entrance of a building where the service was being held, he said, a soldier with blood on his uniform ran past him and said a man was shooting.
Schannep told the paper the shootings appeared to have occurred in a complex near a theater where the service was scheduled.
CNN reported President Obama has been advised of the shooting.
More to come ...
