Pope Francis praised Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as an “angel of peace” during a meeting Saturday at the Vatican that underscored the Holy See’s warm relations with the Palestinians.

Francis made the compliment during the traditional exchange of gifts at the end of an official audience in the Apostolic Palace. He presented Abbas with a medallion and explained that it represented the “angel of peace destroying the bad spirit of war.”

Francis said he thought the gift was appropriate since “you are an angel of peace.” During his 2014 visit to Israel and the West Bank, Francis called both Abbas and Israeli President Shimon Peres men of peace.

Abbas is in Rome for the canonization Sunday of two 19th-century nuns from what was then Ottoman-ruled Palestine. The new saints, Mariam Bawardy and Marie Alphonsine Ghattas, are the first from the region to be canonized since the early days of Christianity.

In the world of make believe, it's fun to see the good guys get the villain. We like a hero that comes and saves the day.

In 2011, as Obama's popularity was plummeting, and the War on Terror began to be unpopular among the masses, due to its ineffectiveness in getting Bin Laden, the Administration decided it was time to get their man so to speak by capturing or killing Osama Bin Laden.

The Secretive raid into Pakistan which supposedly resulted in the killing of Bin Laden was celebrated here in the United States as a victory in the "War on Terror".

The whole "official" report of the raid itself can be seen as very doubtful at best, and a complete scandal at worst- but it achieved its goal of reviving the "War on Terror" genre, as well as making Obama look competent in at least one thing.

However, before 2011, I did a couple reports on evidence I researched which showed Osama Bin Laden to have died in 2001, and not 2011 as we have been led to believe.

I will post the videos below, and ask that you watch them carefully. I will also provide links to several reports by others who have extensively researched this subject as well, and have found our government to once again be lying to us.

I know what you’re thinking – just seven? Actually most of Obama’s speech was filled with the same old platitudes and empty rhetoric that bellows out of all politicians, right or left. But here are seven lies he told.

1) Income inequality is the worst it’s ever been!

Obama sayeth, “Today, after four years of economic growth, corporate profits and stock prices have rarely been higher, and those at the top have never done better. But average wages have barely budged. Inequality has deepened. Upward mobility has stalled. The cold, hard fact is that even in the midst of recovery, too many Americans are working more than ever just to get by; let alone to get ahead.”

There’s all sorts of wrong going on here, but here’s one of the bigger ones – “income inequality” was worse in 2000 and in 2007. But if you adjust the rate for the massive taxation the government does and the redistribution of wealth already underway, income equality is the same as it was in 1987. It’s pretty easy to make the case that the only reason Obama pretends it’s a sudden crime that needs to be addressed right now is that Obamacare is such a disaster that needs to be ignored.

By the time America wakes up, if we ever do, it will be far past the time that anything can be done to fix it.

2) Raising minimum wage will help families

Obama sayeth, “[We] have a bill to fix that by lifting the minimum wage to $10.10… This will help families. It will give businesses customers with more money to spend… So join the rest of the country. Say yes. Give America a raise.”

It’s not hard to believe that Obama, who has never run a business, doesn’t understand that artificially forcing a business to pay someone more than their wage is worth will put more people out of the labor market. Making job creation more expensive leads to fewer jobs.

3) His minimum wage hike for federal workers brings immediate relief

Obama sayeth, “In the coming weeks, I will issue an executive order requiring federal contractors to pay their federally funded employees a fair wage of at least $10.10 an hour, because if you cook our troops’ meals or wash their dishes, you shouldn’t have to live in poverty.”

But most employees of federal contractors earn more than the minimum wage, so this will apply to only about 10% of those, or 200,000 employees. Finally, this wage hike won’t apply until 2015 at the earliest, and even then, only for new contracts, not old ones.

4) How many Americans have gained insurance under Obamacare?

Obama sayeth, “More than 9 million Americans have signed up for private health insurance or Medicaid coverage.”

But in fact, five million Americans have lost insurance, meaning that this number is not a net gain. In other words, the vast majority already had insurance before Obamacare. As few as 11% might be new enrollments to Obamacare. Finally, the payment system for the federal Obamacare website isn’t completed; who knows how many of these will experience more “glitches.”

5) Obama will cut red tape that’s holding up construction jobs!

Obama sayeth, “we’ll need Congress to protect more than 3 million jobs by finishing transportation and waterways bills this summer.  But I will act on my own to slash bureaucracy and streamline the permitting process for key projects, so we can get more construction workers on the job as fast as possible.”

But what’s actually holding back these projects is lack of money, not red tape. Joshua Schank of the think tank Eno Center for Transportation explains:

“The reason most of these projects are delayed is they don’t have enough money. So it’s great that you are expediting the review process, but the review process isn’t the problem. The problem is we don’t have enough money to invest in our infrastructure in the first place.”

Perhaps if Obama hadn’t squandered what was supposed to go towards infrastructure in his stimulus bill on green energy boondoggles and other crony capitalist schemes, there might have been more money to fund these projects. Nevertheless, not only hasn’t Obama created “shovel-ready jobs,” he has actually lost 720,000 of them in the Construction field.

6) Your medicare premium went up? You’re making that up!

Obama sayeth, “because of this (health care) law, no American can ever again be dropped or denied coverage for a preexisting condition like asthma, back pain or cancer… And we did all this while adding years to Medicare’s finances, keeping Medicare premiums flat, and lowering prescription costs for millions of seniors.”

That’s simply not true:

Although the basic premium remained the same this year at $104.90, it increased by $5 a month in 2013, up from $99.90 in 2012. Obama’s health care law also raised Medicare premiums for upper-income beneficiaries, and both the president and Republicans have proposed to expand that.

On paper, the program’s giant trust fund for inpatient care gained more than a decade of solvency because of cuts to service providers required under the health law. But in practice those savings cannot simultaneously be used to expand coverage for the uninsured and shore up Medicare.

7. Obama’s created 8 million new jobs in the last four years

This figure leaves out a lot of lost jobs early in Obama’s presidency and glosses over that this recovery has been the weakest since World War II. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only a net gain of 2.4 million job have been added on Obama’s watch (this doesn’t account for population growth, leading to the lowest labor participation rate since 1978).

You might think Obama might get into trouble for all these lies, but you’d be wrong – he’s a Democrat, remember? The media will barely mention these, or just ignore them all together. And for Americans who are too busy trying to get ahead in this terrible economy, tuning into The State of the Union address allows the president to solidify these misleading talking points in people’s minds. source – IJ Review

Every President, every politician, and every human being tells lies and engages in acts of hypocrisy. But Barack Obama does these things to a far greater degree than anyone else that I have ever known of. His campaign promises were so much better sounding than anyone else’s – no lobbyists in his administration, waiting five days before signing all non-emergency bills so people would have time to read them, putting health care negotiations on C-SPAN, reading every bill line by line to make sure money isn’t being wasted, prosecution of Wall St. criminals, ending raids against medical marijuana in states where it’s legal, high levels of transparency. Obama’s promises of these wonderful things sounded inspiring and sincere. They sounded so much better than the promises of any other President. So when Obama broke these promises, it felt so much worse than when other Presidents broke their promises.

In the 2008 United States election, I wrote in Ron Paul for President. In the 2012 election, I voted for Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson. Those who are of a more leftist persuasion than myself might want to consider voting for the Green Party in future elections.

Some of the things on this list are major events that should scare the daylights out of any true liberal who cares about civil liberties.

Other things on this list are medium things that some Obama supporters may dislike, but would be willing to overlook in light of the things that Obama has done which they like.

And some of the things on this list may seem trivial, but I still think they are an interesting reflection of the kinds of policies that Obama supports.

1) Carried out military interventionism in Libya without Congressional approval

In June 2011, U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) said that Obama had violated the Constitution when he launched military operations in Libya without Congressional approval.

2) Gave a no-bid contract to Halliburton – just like Bush did

In May 2010, it was reported that the Obama administration had selected KBR, a former subsidiary of Halliburton, for a no-bid contract worth as much as $568 million through 2011, just hours after the Justice Department had said it would pursue a lawsuit accusing the Houston-based company of using kickbacks to get foreign contracts.

3) Has an administration full of lobbyists, after promising he wouldn’t have any

While running for President, Obama had promised that, unlike Bush, he would not have any lobbyists working in his administration. However, by February 2010, he had more than 40 lobbyists working in his administration.

4) Has close ties to Wall St., but pretends to support Occupy Wall St.

Although Obama claims to support the Occupy Wall St. movement, the truth is that he has raised more money from Wall St. than any other candidate during the last 20 years. In early 2012, Obama held a fundraiser where Wall St. investment bankers and hedge fund managers each paid $35,800 to attend. In October 2011, Obama hired Broderick Johnson, a longtime Wall Street lobbyist, to be his new senior campaign adviser. Johnson had worked as a lobbyist for JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Comcast, Microsoft, and the oil industry.

The Nations cry for "Peace and Security"

Now that Ariel Sharon has passed away, the leaders in the Middle East and here in the U.S. are calling for peace and security in the Middle East, and asking Netanyahu to make the move toward peace by removing Israelis from settlements that are rightfully theirs to begin with, and calling for a two state solution.

President Obama made this following statement:

“We continue to strive for lasting peace and security for the people of Israel, including through our commitment to the goal of two states living side-by-side in peace and security.”

Where have we heard these words before?

1 Thessalonians 5:3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

In the context of this scripture the Apostle Sha'ul (Paul) was explaining that there will be false promises and declarations of peace and safety in the last days preceeding  the "Yom YHWH"  or "Day of the Lord".

We see the Arab nations rejoicing over the death of Ariel Sharon, and also pressuring Israel to compromise for the sake of peace.

Leaders in the UK and Germany seem to be pushing for the Two State Solution as well, which will only set Israel up to be totally vulnerable to the Arab nations surrounding them.

UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s message to Israel’s current prime minister was yet more blunt, as he praised Sharon as a leader who “took brave and controversial decisions in pursuit of peace.” German Chancellor Angela Merkel, through a spokesman, applauded Sharon’s “courageous decision” to withdraw settlers from the Gaza Strip, during the Disengagement, a “historic step on the path to a deal with the Palestinians and a two-state solution.”-Times of Israel

Even the Pope's upcoming trip to Israel is being called the "Cry for Peace" visit.

This call for "Peace" however, is deceitful among these leaders. They are preparing for the destruction of Israel.

How A Wealthy, Clean-Cut ‘Duck Dynasty’ Tricked The World For Publicity

In the wake of the recent homophobia and racism scandals surrounding A&E’s popular so-called “reality” show Duck Dynasty, there is an important, little-known detail that should be remembered: it’s all fake… all of it.

Sources close to the show have time and time again leaked details that the show is literally scripted. Because of non-disclosure agreements, cameramen, and others who wish to go public with this information have proven unable to do so. As a result, without a name attached to such leaked information, many of these claims of inauthenticity are seen as lacking credibility.

But as the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” One thing that the so-called “Duck Dynasty” family cannot deny are family pictures taken before their fabricated “reality” show was scripted for them. These pictures all showcase a family devoid of backwoods attire: no camouflage, no face paint, no headbands, and no beards.

In the place of Real Tree camo shotguns, we see the family above with golf clubs.

Below is the real Jase Robertson and Family. They look like any other clean-cut wealthy Caucasian family. Admittedly, we see a very trim, socially acceptable beard in this picture… nothing like the costumes the family dons for the popular A&E show.

Here are Jase and Missy Robertson. Jase is a whole lot hairier and a whole lot richer.

But Jase isn’t the only one pulling the proverbial wool over viewers’ eyes. Willie Robertson too used to look a whole lot more like everyone else in his socio-economic caste. Instead of camo, we see hair bleach. And we are supposed to believe that these were backwards hill-folk, who raised themselves up from the trailer park?

You’ve seen the before image, now here’s the after:

The costumes are for show, the beards and bandanas are for show – and more than likely, even the recent “scandals” are for show. We have recently learned that A&E will keep Phil Robertson even after previously announcing he would be kicked off the show for breach of contract, due to racist and homophobic comments. In all likelihood, the scandals were part of a well-orchestrated hoax to get even more ratings, even more attention, and ultimately, even more money for this already filthy-rich family.

Remember, that while this fake scandal was front page news, the NDAA was passed without a peep from the mainstream media. The bill which is infamous for its language regarding “disappearing” U.S. citizens and  indefinite detention was passed via “Fast-Tracking” while a huge number of Americans were distracted by the Phil Robertson “scandal.” Let’s stop giving this Schmuck Dynasty the attention and money that they so obviously don’t deserve.

Obama’s Back Dated & Forged Selective Service Form Hits Washington Times in Full Page Ad Read

Someone has finally decided to put out Barack Obama’s forged documents in a mainstream paper. On Monday, CDR Charles Kerchner (Retired) took out a full page ad in the Washington Times to make people aware of the fraudulent documents of Barack Hussein Obama, specifically his back dated and forged selective service form.

Kerchner’s ad appeared on page 5 of the Washington Times National Weekly and included a large copy of Barack Obama’s Selective Service form, along with various URLs to other pertinent information on the various forgeries of Obama’s documents.

If you thought Kerchner was done with only one ad dealing with Obama’s Selective Service form, you would be mistaken. He also dealt with John Boehner.

Kerchner blasted House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), who apparently has taken a similar stand to that of Markwayne Mullins, who said he believes that Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud, but doesn’t “give a sh*t.”

Mr. Kerchner wrote:

To House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner – We the People Have Been Repeatedly Asked You To Act:  Are you living up to your oath to support and defend the Constitution from domestic enemies? Are you doing your job as the leader of the People’s House and protecting We the People from a fraud in the White House?  It is time for you to launch congressional investigations into Obama’s forged ID documents or at least get out of the way and stopping blocking those in Congress who wish to do that. You’ve office was been given a Sheriff’s Kit by Mike Volin and his team during their visit to Washington DC last week which presents the evidence compiled from a two year investigation by the Sheriff’s Department of Maricopa County AZ (which includes Phoenix). The evidence proves federal felony document crimes have been committed!  Speaker Boehner, are you living up to your solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution from domestic enemies? Are you the leader of the People’s House and protecting We the People from a national fraud being perpetrated on the nation?  It is time for you to do your duty and launch a Select Committee to publicly in open hearing in Congress investigate the ongoing fraud and the crimes being perpetrated by Barack Obama. If you will not do that, then step down and get out of the way.  We the People demand it!

Another full page ad appeared in the Times in which a “Dear John” letter was written, calling him out for his silence.

Kerchner included links in his ad to Arizona Chief Investigator Michael Zullo’s sworn affidavit, attesting to the fact that Obama’s documents have been forged, as well as documentation provided by Debbie Schlussel, which Obama’s Selective Service registration is a fraud.

The pressure continues to build. However, don’t expect establishment Republicans to get on board. After all, they this is really no big deal for them, and they are ready to roll over in bed with the Democrats as they have already demonstrated. However, there is hope that some Tea Party representatives, like Steve Stockman, who do believe there is validity to the information and want to see a serious inquiry for the public’s best interest, will act. Stockman even passed out copies of Articles of Impeachment to every House member earlier this year.

Contact your representative or senator today and let them know you want this issue investigated and resolved, including impeachment and removal from office of Barack Hussein Obama if necessary.

There is no shortage of evidence that Barack H. Obama is quite possibly the most inept, deceptive and disgraceful president that America has ever seen.

With all that we do know about Barack Obama, what don’t we know?

We know that congress refuses to investigate Obama’s birth certificate.  Why would they.  It would prove that either there are higher forces that choose presidents for us or that congress is just as inept and crooked as Obama himself.

We know that Obama’s records of school and much of his past have been either permanently sealed or investigators have been repeatedly denied access to them.

We also know that many people in Barack Obama’s past have died.  Some of which has been in some very unusual and unexplainable ways.  These people, coincidentally, are also people that could have exposed truths about Obama.

Speaking of Barack Hussein Obama… We also know that he lived a double life under the name“Barry Soetoro.”

As If all of that wasn’t enough, incredibly, there is more!

Let me introduce you to Wayne Allyn Root.

Mr. Root is a Capitalist Evangelist, entrepreneur, and Libertarian-conservative Republican.  He is also A graduate of Columbia University.  He also graduated the same year as Obama and from the same classes as Obama, but Mr. Root doesn’t remember Barack Obama.  In fact, neither does anyone else in those classes.

Root is not alone in coming out about Obama’s mysterious absence from Columbia.

There are a number of professors that taught at the prestigious university that say they have no recollection of having Obama in any of their classes either.  Of those professors, there is one that agreed to a full interview.

Meet Professor Henry Graff

Mr. Graff is perhaps the most legendary and honored professor ever at Columbia University. He was THE American History and Diplomatic History professor at Columbia for 46 years.

Of everything that Mr. Graff said in his interview, he ended by saying this -

“I’m very upset by the whole story. I am angry when I hear Obama called ‘the first President of the United States from Columbia University.’ I don’t consider him a Columbia student. I have no idea what he did on the Columbia campus. No one knows him.”

You would think that at a largely liberal collage, such as Columbia, former students and professors would be clamoring to say they have studied with Obama, produce pictures of them together or even claim to have shared a beer or two with the now president, but no, nothing.

Does all of this not concern you?  Shouldn’t the main stream media be telling you about this?

Osama bin Laden’s Death Just Got Stranger

Conspiracy theorists have questioned Osama bin Laden’s death since the Abbottabad raid in 2011. Now, those skeptical of the military’s account of how bin Laden was killed have fuel to add to their conspiratorial fire. 

That’s because the Pakistani doctor who helped the CIA find bin Laden and who confirmed bin Laden’s DNA after the raid has been arrested on murder charges. Dr. Shakil Afridi has been charged with killing a boy during a 2006 surgery to remove his appendix. 

Pakistani police didn’t have to go far to arrest Afridi: he is already serving a 33 year prison sentence for “conspiring against the state,” a charge connected to his work on a CIA vaccination program meant to confirm bin Laden’s presence at the Abbottabad compound. Now, there’s a growing concern that the one man who could confirm that the man who died in Abbottabad was bin Laden might never see the light of day 

The latest charge against Afridi is likely to deepen the diplomatic tension between the United States and Pakistan. The Americans, who view Afridi as a hero that helped to eliminate the most wanted man in American history, want him released. They say the charges are trumped up. The Pakistanis, furious over his work with the Americans, view him as a traitor who enabled an unsanctioned attack on Pakistani soil. 

The United States has done its best to quash doubters of bin Laden’s death. But Afridi’s disappearance deep into the bowels of the Pakistani prison system is likely to embolden claims that Osama bin Laden’s death was one big hoax. 

In reversal, Obama says he lived with Kenyan uncle

President Obama acknowledged on Thursday that he lived with his Kenyan uncle for a brief period in the 1980s while preparing to attend Harvard Law School, contradicting a statement more than a year ago that the White House had no record of the two ever meeting.

Their relationship came into question on Tuesday at the deportation hearing of his uncle, Onyango Obama, in Boston immigration court. His uncle had lived in the United States illegally since the 1970s and revealed in testimony for the first time that his famous nephew had stayed at his Cambridge apartment for about three weeks. At the time, Onyango Obama was here illegally and fighting deportation.

On Thursday, a White House official said the press office had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe that they had no record of the two meeting. This time, the press office asked the president directly, which they had not done in 2011.

“The president first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz. “The president did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The president has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.”

Israel PM heads to Rome for first talks with pope

Jerusalem (AFP) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu left for Rome on Sunday for a two-day official visit during which he will meet Pope Francis for the first time.

During the visit, Netanyahu is also due to meet his Italian counterpart Enrico Letta, and will hold a joint session with the Italian cabinet, it said.The Israeli leader took off around midday accompanied by six of his ministers, including his newly reappointed Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, public radio said.

On Monday, he will be granted his first audience with Pope Francis, who took over as the worldwide head of the Catholic Church in March.

Six weeks ago, Netanyahu's office had said he would meet the pope during a visit to Rome in late October, but the meeting never happened -- with a diplomatic source telling AFP it would not happen because it had not been coordinated in advance with the Vatican.

When the two meet on Monday, they are likely to discuss the Iranian nuclear issue and the ongoing peace talks with the Palestinians.

And they are also expected to discuss the pope's planned visit to the Holy Land early next year.

Pope Francis has already been invited to visit the Christian holy sites by Israeli President Shimon Peres in April, and by Palestinian leader Mahmud Abbas, who met him on October 17.

Israeli sources say the visit could take place before Peres ends his term as president in July. Although no date has been made official, sources on both sides say it is likely to take place on May 25-26.

The papal visit will reportedly begin in Jordan, a senior Vatican official said on Saturday, according to Jordanian state news agency Petra.

"The pope's visit to the Holy Land will begin in Jordan," Vatican foreign affairs official Dominique Mamberti said in Amman after meeting Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh.

Israel and the Vatican first established full diplomatic relations in 1993, but have been engaged in years of thorny diplomatic negotiations over property rights and tax exemptions for the Catholic Church, which have yet to be fully resolved.

The Holy See wants full recognition of the legal and patrimonial rights of Catholic communities in Israel and formal confirmation of tax exemptions enjoyed by the Church since the Jewish state's emergence in 1948 and which the UN has asked Israel to honour.

One of the most delicate questions involves access by Catholic worshippers to a site on Mount Zion in Jerusalem called the Cenacle, where Christians believe Jesus held the Last Supper the night before he was crucified.

In June, the sides agreed to step up negotiations over the outstanding issues.

Hypocrisy: U.S. Condemns Alleged Use of Sarin Gas By Assad Regime, but Used Sarin Gas in Laos During Vietman War

The Obama Regime truly reveals the hypocrisy of our government in its condemnation of the use of Sarin gas in Syria recently.

While pushing for a strike against Syria, and gathering support from Congress, the Obama Regime wants the American people to believe that our country is so much better than the backward Third-world countries in the Middle East, and that we would never use such horrible measures as chemical weapons against our adversaries.

What is little known by most Americans however, is the fact that the United States used chemical weapons against American defectors in the Vietnam war, and then when it was revealed they threatened the journalists who uncovered the deed. Did you get that? They targeted American defectors!!!! Chemical weapons against our own people.....

In the book 9/11 and American Empire: Intellectuals Speak Out  on page 181, it reveals the power and control of the Pentagon over media when it forced two journalists to retract an article about America's use of Sarin in Laos in 1970:

An important case of Pentagon influence over the corporate media is CNN's retraction of the story about U.S. military use of sarin (a nerve gas) in 1970 in Laos during the Vietnam War. CNN producers April Oliver and Jack Smith, after an eight-month investigation, reported on CNN in June of 1998 and later in Time Magazine that sarin gas was used in Operation Thailand in Laos and that American defectors were targeted. The story was based on eyewitness accounts and high military command collaboration. Under tremendous pressure from the Pentagon, Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, and Richard Helms, both CNN and Time Magazine retracted the story saying: "The allegations about the use of nerve gas and the killing of defectors are not supported by the evidence." Oliver and Smith were both fired by CNN later that summer. They have steadfastly stood by their original story as accurate and substantiated. Oliver feels that CNN and Time capitulated to the Pentagon's threat to lock them out of future military stories

So, not only did the U.S. use chemical weapons in Vietnam - it used sarin gas against Americans who defected from the military over in Vietnam because they were tired of the war! Then the hypocrites threatened the media in order to cover up their corruption!

Now the lapdog media and congress are ready to go along with unsubstantiated claims that Assad and his military used sarin gas against their enemies. Now its apparently evil to do such a thing!

The use of chemical weapons in any war is awful in my opinion. The use of deception in the media to hide atrocities or to falsely accuse others of them is just as bad or maybe even worse.

WHO WAS OSAMA? WHO IS OBAMA?

While the President and Commander in Chief of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama "celebrates" the first anniversary of the alleged death of bin Laden, the substantive issue as to WHO WAS OSAMA BIN LADEN remains unheralded.  (Remarks by President Obama in Address to the Nation from Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, see video at foot of article)

Through lies and fabrications --which he intends to use in his election campaign-- president Obama`s carefully scripted speech upholds a world of total fantasy, in which "bad guys" are lurking and "plotting acts of terror". Meanwhile, Islamic "jihadists" are said to be threatening Western civilization.

Each and every statement in Obama's May 1st speech at Bagram Air Force base regarding the role of Al Qaeda is a fabrication: (below are excerpts from Obama's Remarks in italics, author's comments are indicated inside square brackets [ ] ):  

It was here, in Afghanistan, where Osama bin Laden established a safe haven for his terrorist organization 
[Osama bin Laden was recruited by the CIA, Al Qaeda was set up with the support of the CIA. Osama's safe haven was protected by US intelligence] .

It was here, in Afghanistan, where al Qaeda brought new recruits, trained them, and plotted acts of terror.
[The Mujahideen were recruited and trained by the CIA. America's ally Saudi Arabia financed the Wahabbi  koranic schools, Ronald Reagan praised the Mujahideen as "Freedom Fighters". Unknown to the American public, the US spread the teachings of the "Islamic jihad" in textbooks "Made in America", developed at the University of Nebraska]

It was here, from within these borders, that al Qaeda launched the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 innocent men, women and children.
[Obama is referring to the tragic events of September 11 2001. To this date there is no evidence that Al Qaeda was involved in the 9/11 attacks. Moreover,confirmed by CBS News, on September 10, 2001 Osama bin Laden had been admitted to a Pakistani military hospital in Rawalpindi, courtesy of America's ally Pakistan. Did he coordinate the 9/11 attacks from his hospital bed?]

And so, 10 years ago, the United States and our allies went to war to make sure that al Qaeda could never again use this country to launch attacks against us.
[The 9/11 attacks was the justification for waging war on Afghanistan on the grounds of`"self defense". Afghanistan was said to be harboring Al Qaeda and was, therefore, complicit in an outright act of war against the USA.
The fact of the matter is that the Taliban government on two occasions in the weeks following 9/11 offered (through diplomatic channels) to hand over Osama bin Laden to the US Justice system. President George W. Bush refused the offer of the Taliban government, intimating that America "does not negotiate with terrorists". 
NATO went to war in support of the US, invoking Article Five of the Washington Treaty. The latter states that an "act of war" against one member of the Atlantic Alliance is considered "an act of war" against all members of NATO under the doctrine of collective security.]

Despite initial success, for a number of reasons, this war has taken longer than most anticipated. In 2002, bin Laden and his lieutenants escaped across the border and established safe haven in Pakistan. America spent nearly eight years fighting a different war in Iraq. And al Qaeda’s extremist allies within the Taliban have waged a brutal insurgency.
[The whereabouts of Osama bin Laden have always been known to US intelligence. President Obama conveys the illusion that US-NATO forces and their intelligence operatives could not find bin Laden. In the words of former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld (2002), "it is like searching for a needle in a stack of hay". The alleged Al Qaeda safe haven in Pakistan serves as a pretext for waging drone attacks against alleged terrorists in Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

President Obama also intimates that Al Qaeda operatives equipped with stinger missiles and Kalashnikovs had managed to outsmart the US-NATO multi-trillion dollar military machine.]  

But over the last three years, the tide has turned. We broke the Taliban’s momentum. We’ve built strong Afghan security forces. We devastated al Qaeda’s leadership, taking out over 20 of their top 30 leaders. And one year ago, from a base here in Afghanistan, our troops launched the operation that killed Osama bin Laden.
[A lot has been written on this issue. No proof as to the identity of the person who was allegedly killed by the Seals Special Forces  In the words of Paul Craig Roberts; "The US government’s bin Laden story was so poorly crafted that it did not last 48 hours before being fundamentally altered..." ] 

The goal that I set -- to defeat al Qaeda and deny it a chance to rebuild -- is now within our reach.
[There is ample evidence that Al Qaeda (a US sponsored "intelligence asset") is still alive and fully operational. Officially, the goal is to "defeat Al Qaeda". Unofficially, Al Qaeda is supported covertly by US intelligence.

Since 9/11, Al Qaeda has developed into a multinational entity with "subsidiaries" in various geopolitical hotspots around the world.
