" Oh SNAP"! Obama Administration Uses Advertising to Push Government Food Stamp Program

Peter Schiff discusses the SNAP program by the Obama administration. Annual costs for the advertisements run at around $3 million annually to promote foodstamp usage.

Currently in the United States there are 46,297,357 recipients of the food stamp program.
Back in February of this year, Newt Gingrich claimed that "more people have been put on food stamps by Barack Obama than any president in American history." However, according to an article in USA Today, there were more recipients added during Bush Jr's term than during Obama's.


Under George W. Bush, food stamp recipients rose by 14.7 million. So far, under Obama it has increased by 14.2 million. (It is now June, and Obama has more than likely matched or exceeded Bush's numbers).


It is clear to see that both the Republican and Democrat representatives along with their Presidents appear to be pushing a program of government dependency.
