The “global citizens” at the Club of Rome are at it again. They are warning that if we don’t allow government to scale back civilization, we’re doomed.
“Mankind may face extinction if it fails to change its ways, the Club of Rome think tank has said,” reports the German publican,Deutsche Welle. “Short-sighted political and economical models are the problem, according to a new report by the group.”
Evidence that the “planet has reached its limits” abounds, a new Club of Rome report states. “Both economic and population growth will stagnate within the next 40 years without a change of tack on the part of governments.”
Norwegian environmental scientist Jorgen Randers believes we “need a system of governance that takes a more long-term view. It is unlikely that governments will pass necessary regulation to force the markets to allocate more money into climate-friendly solutions,” he said. Randers added that markets can’t be expected to work for the benefit of mankind.
He also pushed the debunked theory of climate change and warned that the planet is on the verge of collapse. “We already live in a manner that cannot be continued for generations without major change. Humanity has overshot the earth’s resources, and in some cases we will see local collapse before 2052 — we are emitting twice as much greenhouse gas every year as can be absorbed by the world’s forests and oceans.”
Mr. Randers’ idiocy has been disproven repeatedly, most recently by an international team of experts, known as the ‘Slayers,’ who are highly qualified in their respective fields. “Their findings are devastating to all those who claim carbon dioxide and the ‘greenhouse effect’ heats our atmosphere,” writes John Sullivan.
The greenhouse gas theory is wrong and humans are not killing the planet. The atmosphere acts like a coolant of the Earth’s surface, not the other way around, they explain.
More recently, a group of sixteen world-renowned scientists declared there “is no compelling scientific argument for drastic action to ‘decarbonize’ the world’s economy. Even if one accepts the inflated climate forecasts of the IPCC, aggressive greenhouse-gas control policies are not justified economically… Every candidate should support rational measures to protect and improve our environment, but it makes no sense at all to back expensive programs that divert resources from real needs and are based on alarming but untenable claims of ‘incontrovertible’ evidence.”
The Club of Rome’s take on so-called climate change – despite evidence to contrary – makes perfect sense because it comes from a neo-Malthusian organization determined to roll back population and civilization. It is an organization with an interlocking membership that includes the Committee of 300 and the Bilderberg Group. It has consistently called for “limits to growth,” what the United Nations and the globalists now quaintly call “sustainability.”
In order to realize their agenda, the globalists are now shutting down the world economy and spreading “revolutions” throughout the world. Our savior can only be – according to the Club of Rome and a pantheon of globalist think tanks and organizations – world government.
