House Rejects Resolution Authorizing U.S. Mission in Libya

The House on Friday resoundingly rejected a measure that would have authorized the United States’ mission in Libya, with 70 Democrats deserting President Obama on an issue that has divided their party and became a major Constitutional flash point between Congress and the White House.

The resolution — one of two the House took up Friday — failed 295 to 123, with an overwhelming majority of Republicans voting no. Only eight Republicans supported the measure, which was based on a Senate measure introduced Tuesday by Senators John Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts, and John McCain, Republican of Arizona, that has yet to be voted on. As debt talks break down, clock ticks toward crisis

The breakdown of talks between the White House and congressional Republicans has intensified worries about the financial bomb known as the national debt. Without serious budget reforms, that bomb will almost certainly explode — with widespread collateral damage to the U.S. economy and the global financial system.
But no one can say for certain just when the bomb will go off. The fuse may be longer than many people assume.

Debt-reduction talks came grinding to a halt Thursday when Republicans pulled out, blaming Democrats for demanding tax increases rather than accepting cuts in federal services.

The clock is ticking. The Congressional Budget Office said this week that the national debt is on pace to equal the gross domestic product within a decade, and warned of a European-style crisis unless Congress moves to realign the budget.

“There comes a point when you have a reckoning,” said former New York Gov. George Pataki, a Republican who chairs No American Debt. “You see that in Greece. If we don't get our house together we'll be the next country to deal with that.”

Agenda 21 Indoctrination Going Global at Warp Speed

For those not familiar with Agenda 21 and “sustainable development”, I urge you to take a crash course and visit some of the leading researcher’s on the subject: Michael Shaw at Freedom Advocates, Cassandra Anderson at Morph City, key reports such as "UN Agenda 21 Will Rule the US Waves" from organizations like the Science & Public Policy Institute as well as take a look at the numerous lectures archived by Dr. Stanley Monteith over at Radio Liberty.

It is time to sound the alarm yet again on Agenda 21. Much of the focus of critical LA21 discussion has centered on its progress in the United States, but it too has been making rapid inroads into México, as to the rest of the planet.

Background - Regionalization
As we all know (or should be aware of), México is purported ground zero for the testing and total implementation of iris-scanning biometric identification technology according to Hoyos Group (formerly Global Rainmakers), which is set to eventually encompass the globe (their estimate is ten years).[1] Youth here will soon be obligated to receive national biometric ID cards with a view of moving on to the general population. This is all for our safety. Please try to ignore the fact the US agency, ATF, has been arming drug cartels with heavy weaponry.[2] Please also make an attempt to pretend you never heard drug cartels have been moving massive amounts of cocaine and heroin into the U.S. with the oversight of the DOJ, FBI, DEA and ICE.[3]

World War III Defined: Wider War Unfolding in Middle East

Infowars
June 23, 2011
It’s time to identify the unfolding Middle East crisis for what it is– a wider world war. Alex Jones analyzes the more than nine years of expanding middle east conflict since 9/11, with the U.S. now engaging in 5 simultaneous proxy wars including Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan and Yemen.

Tensions with Syria, Russia, China and other players may further fan the flames in the region, as top globalists, including Bilderberg attendees, have announced their intention to put ground troops in Libya and kick-off a “big war” encompassing much of Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
Despite opposition to the wars in U.S. Congress and throughout the NATO alliance, the Nobel Peace President will continue to try and save face as he escalates deadly conflict on behalf of his masters under a “humanitarian” pretext. The elites have craftily planted the seeds of chaos under the guise of the “Arab Spring” they helped fund and organize, which is now blossoming into an all-out war that could draw in major powers and proxy regimes alike.

Bernanke States "We're Done" Concerning Quantitative Easing - Peter Schiff Says Don't Believe It

SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!!!

June 23, 2011

Many in the financial markets and in society may believe the recent announcement by the Fed when they stated that they are basically going to suspend the plan of rescuing the economy through the "quantitaive easing" measures they've been pushing. One economist not buying the Bernanke Spiel however, is Peter Schiff, CEO of Euro Pacific Capital.

Peter Schiff believes QE3 is  not only going to come (as surely as God made little green apples), but that it too will fail to bring any recovery to our economy.

One of the main reasons for his argument is that the printing of money, or monitization on debt is actually what is causing the problem. He argues that the Federal Reserve is primarily responsible for the delay in any recovery that could have been hoped for if proper measures had been taken,  such as raising interest rates, and allowing the housing market to bottom out, in order to allow for a true reading in economic sectors that would give a real analysis of  the market conditions, and with that, real reform on a governmental level, where the real cuts in spending are drastically needed.

Peter Schiff also believes that "Helicopter" Ben Bernanke knows the tragic results of his "quantitative easing" policies, having this to say when asked if Bernanke just might be ignorant of exactly how to steer a rocovery:

"... I think that... I give him a little bit more credit, I think he kind of knows..., you know if you played that clip he's stammering, he studders when he talks. He looks very nervous to me. He looks like a guy who's hiding something... he's afraid that someone is going to find out.."

What he's afraid we might find out is that it's not an accident that we are in a severe economic tailspin that will result in a crash - a crash by design.

The other subject brought up in the interview was the fact that the Head of Pimco is predicting that Greece will basically fall, and that they will default on their debt as a nation. Peter stated that Greece should restructure it's debt, and that without a bailout, it will happen. He believes however, that Greece will more than likely recieve another bailout. Peter blaims alot of the bailout policies on political leaders and representatives who are only concerned with re-election.

Bernanke Leaves Door Open to Further Easing

Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke
June 23, 2011

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke left the door open to a fresh shot of monetary stimulus should the economic rebound he’s predicting fail to materialize.

The Fed would be “prepared to take additional action, obviously, if conditions warranted,” including the purchase of more Treasury securities, Bernanke said yesterday after U.S. central bankers met in Washington. The economy will probably overcome constraints from elevated energy prices and Japan- related disruptions to manufacturing, he said. Still, declining home prices, high unemployment and weaknesses in the financial system may restrain the recovery in the longer term, he said.

Policy makers in a statement yesterday acknowledged the slowdown even as they agreed to complete $600 billion in bond- buying as scheduled this month in the second round of so-called quantitative easing. While the outlook for employment and inflation is better than before the latest bond purchases, Bernanke said he’s not sure how long the economic headwinds will persist. Stocks fell in New York trading.

“Bernanke’s remarks kept that door open” to more bond buying, said former Fed Governor Lyle Gramley, currently senior economic adviser at Potomac Research Group in Washington. “The hurdle for QE3 is obviously high. But if large downside risks materialize and the economy slows enough so that the unemployment rate starts to increase again, QE3 would have to be considered.”

One of those risks is a debt default by Greece, which could “roil financial markets globally,” including bonds and stocks, and potentially have a “quite significant” impact in the U.S., Bernanke told reporters at his second post-meeting press conference.
